Why does a warning pop up saying Firefox 3.6 can be harmful to your computer?
Right before I decided to down lowed Firefox 3.6 , A warning pops up asking me if I'm sure I want to proceed?

When i switch my laptop on then double click Firefox to go on the internet a pop up appears more often than not saying Firefox is already running you have to close existing window or restart your computer, i have nothing at all running so i have to restart the computer only to find the same thing happens again and again. I updated Firefox to newest version about 2 months ago and this was happening now and again but it seems to be happening all the time now. It is just luck sometimes that it lets me launch the internet.
Hi There before i posted on this site i did all sorts of scans including malware scans. Today i got on internet no problem last night i tried the pop up appeared about 6 times i gave up. Ok . so my ipod touch 2G , used to be all ok . its just yesterday i went to charge my ipod it wouldnt do anything . Then after being plugged in for a bit , i got pop up saying " "One of the USB devices attached to your computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it" .
Ive tried plugging this into 3 other computers same error message pops up .
PLEASE help me . thanks (:Uninstall your USB drivers in your computer & reinstall.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select
/var/log ▹ install.log
from the hierarchical list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, click the Clear Display button in the toolbar of the Console window and then try the installation again.
Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

Why does itunes give an error saying " The Iphone cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (-50)". Everytime I try to sync my phone? I have another Iphone that syncs with the same itunes account and it's working fine.

Check your Applications folder. If you don't want the app, just drag it to the Trash.
IMHO you do not need this utility. Your Mac will do maintenance for you.

Many times when I try to open my Firefox (3.6.11) after closing it, a message pops up saying "Firefox is already running. You must close the porcess or restart your computer before you can open it." Because it is already closed and I have nothing else to close, I close the message and try again, and the same message pops up again... So I have no choice but to restart my computer. Why does the new version 5 of firefox show up all the graphics on my web sites with a huge wide black border? They should be narrow and yellow!! I use iWeb for my web sites on an AppleMac iMac 22" wide screen.
That is unfortunately a bug only in Firefox 5 and will be fixed in Firefox 6 (Aug).

Try the following:
1. Connect the phone to your computer using the USB cable and let it sync.
2. Uncheck "Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi"
3. Click Apply
4. Check "Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi"
5. Click Apply
6. Quit iTunes
7. Disconnect the phone from the USB cable
8. Make sure your phone is connected to your Wi-Fi network
9. Open iTunes
iTunes should see your iPhone and connect to it. Go under Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync and see if you can initiate a sync. -
