Why does another tab open each time I click on 'Home'?

Eacg time I click on the 'HOME' icon a new (empty) tab opens. This will continue to happen no ,matter how many tabs are already opened the same way.

everytime I plug my iphone into my mac via usb it syncs and automatically opens up the photo application on my mac. Is there any way to not have it do this each time?

It's opening because the computer sees the iPhone as a camera and there are pictures in your camera roll. You can change the setting in iPhoto as noted above, but if you do, remember to open iPhoto occasionally and download the photos to your photo library so you don't lose them if something happens to your phone.

Why do new tabs open every time i click on something?

Recently within the past couple of weeks I have noticed that when I click on a link or attempt to go to a new page, a new page is opened asking me to update my browser or some kind of junk. They seem to me like pop-ups. How do i get these to stop?

Why do three new tabs open every time I press the "home" icon?

Three new tabs open every time I press the home icon. I and two others have looked through all my settings and have contacted Mozilla (no response) and can't figure out why this is happening? Anyone have a clue how to stop this incredibly annoying problem from continuing?

New page opens each time I click on a link instead of staying imbedded on the current page

Each time I click on a link or delve further into a sight, instead of staying within that sight Firefox opens an entirely new page. At the end of just a few minutes of browsing, the page indicator along the bottom of my screen has dozens of open pages. I can't hit the 'back' button to go back in a sight because Firefox has already opened a new page instead.
What is up with this and how do I get it to stop?

Blank tabs opening alongside the page you wanted have been reported to be a side effect of the "MySearchDial" extension. If you do not recall installing that or do not find it useful, I suggest disabling or removing it.
Open the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
If there is no Remove button, check the Windows Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Clicking the "Installed on" column heading may reveal it to be part of a bundle with other suspect programs.
Does removing that help with the overnight new tabs issue?

Why does it stop responding every time I click on anything?

I open my email and it seems to take forever and then I click on one and it does nothing finally click a gain and it says not responding and I wait and wait and finally an email will come up, I read it and as soon as I click on something else its not responding again. Every time I click on anything I get a not responding. Its driving me crazy.

Why does my finder restart each time i try to open a folder ?

Hi,
Since today, everytime I click on a folder or try using the Finder, the color wheel appears, takes a few seconds, then relaunches the finder. However, I can't access any of my files through Finder. I can access them using any program, but not with the Finder.
I have tried creating a dummy account, but it has the same problem. I have tried opening folders using the Terminal command open but the Finder crashes again. I have also tried resetting my Finder preferences but without success.
Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

are you able to run a disk verify ? if so, dose it report any errors?
Another option might be open the console; and see if any error message pops up when the finder crashes.

Why does my iphone crash each time I start a new app?

A couple of weeks ago, my iPhone (4S, newest iOS), started crashing I'd say once every four times I try to open an app. I'll open the app and within a second- the screen goes black, the white wheel comes up and it goes back to the lock screen.
I've tried powering off and restarting, but still doing it.
Any idea of what I should try next?

As You provide near zero info - only wild guesses are possibly
• iMovie Pref. file got corrupted (most common origins to trouble)
• material (Video/Codec) used doesn't function OK with iMovie e.g. H.264 etc
• Repair Permissions - sometimes helps
• FREE SPACE - on Start-Up (Mac OS) Hard Disk are to low - I never go under 25Gb free space
But there are zillions of possibly culprits - so without very specific info I guess that it's very hard to be of much help.
My main trouble shooting list follows.
When iMovie doesn't work as intended this can be due to a lot of reasons
• iMovie Pref files got corrupted - trash it/they and iMovie makes new and error free one's
• Creating a new User-Account and log into this - forces iMovie to create all pref. files new and error free
• Event or Project got corrupted - try to make a copy and repair
• a codec is used that doesn't work
• problem in iMovie Cache folder - trash Cache.mov and Cache.plist
• version miss match of QuickTime Player / iMovie / iDVD
• preferences are wrong - Repair Preferences
• other hard disk problem - Repair Hard Disk (Disk Util tool - but start Mac from ext HD or DVD)
• External hard disks - MUST BE - Mac OS Extended (hfs) formatted to work with Video
( UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - works for most other things - but not for Video )
• USB-flash-memories do not work
• Net-work connected hard disks - do not work
• iPhoto Library got problems - let iPhoto select another one or repair it. Re-build this first then try to re-start iMovie.
This You do by
_ close iPhoto
_ on start up of iPhoto - Keep {cmd and alt-keys down}
_ now select all five options presented
_ WAIT a long long time
• free space on Start-Up (Mac OS) hard disk to low (<1Gb) - I never go under 25Gb free space for SD-Video (4-5 times more for HD)
• external devices interferes - turn off Mac - disconnect all of them and - Start up again and re-try
• GarageBand fix - start GB - play a few notes - Close it again and now try iMovie
• Screen must be set to million-colors
• Third-party plug-ins doesn't work OK
• Run "Cache Out X", clear out all caches and restarts the Mac
• Let Your Mac be turned on during one night. At about midnight there is a set of maintenance programs that runs and tidying up. This might help
• Turn off Your Mac - and disconnect Mains - for about 20-30 minutes - at least this resets the FireWire port.
• In QuickTime - DivX, 3ivx codec, Flip4Mac, Perian etc - might be problematic - temporarily move them out and re-try
(I deleted the file "3ivxVideoCodec.component" located in Mac HD/Library/Quicktime and this resolved my issue.)
