Why does apple take off apple ipod nano chromatic for the 5th generation?

What can I do if mi iPod nano chromatic of 5th generation ir really does not works so well the only buttons that work are the Middle one, The circle for changing volumen, and the one to go back... But the Menu button, The pause botton, and the one to go farward to change the song dosn't work at all! What can I do?
Please HELP I want my iPod back!!

It's not like playing a tape. It has to convert it from whatever format you currently have into a codec suitable for editing (Apple Intermediate). This will take longer or shorter depending how compressed your original format is, and on the ability of your CPUs to catch up.

Try uninstalling the iCloud application from your computer. Then reinstall it following the links provided at http://www.apple.com/ca/icloud/setup/pc.html

Why does it take up 100MB/track when I change the genre?

Right so I have all my songs on my itunes library and identical on my 60gb ipod photo.
My itunes were quite disorganised so I decided to change the genres and make everything nice and neat. When I plug my ipod in to automaticlly update all track and playlists it fills up the ipod remarkabley quick, at the rate of a gig every 100 tracks or so. I updated 700 songs and it filled up my ipod by 6.5 gig!!!!
this is with songs that were already in the library, I had simply reorganised them.
Someone please help.

you do not say what operating system you have on your computer but judging from what is happening it would have to be Tiger 10.4.x as it now has the ability to read music files in iTunes and make changes to any that do not conform to the latest technological advances in file formats and management each time they are accessed, until they meet the latest standards... simply playing these files will improve them ... as each time a song is played the playcount is updated and the new rules applied to the file.

Have you tried a Reset... you will not lose any Data or Settings...

Aha. If you are at a hotel, you probably have a throttled connection. They want you to buy their movie, not stream your own.......
But the app is a great thing to have on board. You never know when you might want to check a connection.

Why does my Bridge read RGB or B&W for the Color Mode on a file, when in Illustrator I have set it to CMYK?

I'm kind of stumped and this has been a question of mine for some time. I did some further digging on it, and did find that what it's reading is the Photoshop Color Mode XMP data, which is odd since the files were never in Photoshop, and were created in Illustrator. Is there a way to remove this info? How do I fix it?

Probably can be chalked up to one of Illustrators mysterious color issues.
Therefor it might be best to drop this question in the AI forum itself. I know to less of AI but just tried a bit with a new document, you can't convert to a new color profile like used to in PS, only select CMYK or RGB and assign a profile but that is not the same as converting.
Also in color settings it says by default to preserve numbers in stead of the profile itself.
And yes, mysteries are common at Adobe, although being one company one doubts often if they are even aware of the existence of Bridge and even other applications in the suites. Not even all file types of Adobe seem to be fully supported in Bridge…

You would need to revert to Firefox 3.6.23 to have the old cache setup.
The multiple cache folder setup is to allow for a larger cache which works more efficiently that earlier versions worked.

I just recently bought a MacBook Pro and I am installing Adobe Reader and it is taking sooooo long to install. I have been installing since 8:30 pm and its now 10:27 and its only up to 42%. Why does it taking so long? Also I have downloading other software and it took forever as well. Why does it take son long to download software to the Mac?

Something is obviously wrong.
Stop the download and take the machine back to Apple as you have 90 days free support.
They will test the machine to see if it's a hardware issue or a problem with the Mac itself.
If they say it's fine and it surfs/downloads fast on their connections, then it's likely something wrong with your home network or router.
Did you by any chance change your DNS settings in Network?
This could be the problem, delete what you entered and reboot the machine, the ISP's default DNS settings will return.
To OpenDNS? On the router? Are you using your own router of it someone managing it for you?
Are you over 21 and can you legally surf for adult sites? If some sort of filtering is on, this could be the cause.
OpenDNS doesn't have servers everywhere, so it causes certain downloads from Akamai servers to come from a lot farther away than your ISP servers.
Have you run Internet speed tests? Using other machines on your network are they fast?
Is your router or modem old? Did you power them off, wait 30 seconds and power them back on?
It's rather a lot to try to figure out network issues, you may have to call in a local professional.
