Perhaps I should have given more detail. The device works the way it works. Listing every chapter is part of the normal behaviour, and often not in a useful order which is the main thrust of that article. However it does point out that you can use one of the various free/cheap tools available to stitch the individual files into a single audiobook file which is what iDevices really expect to receive.
Alternatively you could use a smart playlist which matches a particular title and only includes files with a play count of zero to make it easier to locate the current chapter. I don't recall ever trying this so I'll have a go and see how it works out.

This is not new. The fact that Mac OS no longer supports PowerPC applications starting with OS X Lion has been known for over a year now. You'll need to upgrade to the latest version of Photoshop

No, that's just wasting space. A back up needs to be on a different disk.

I can understand the fear of messing up a computer when I first started seriously working on computers back in the early 90's I had to format and re-install my operating system twice a day for quite a while before I figured out a very important step (at least important for me), and that was after I made a change to my computer to restart it. This way if I messed something up I only had to undo one thing and not 50 because I went wild on it. lol
Anyways, do not be afraid of your computer all you need to do is learn that step, how to keep your personal items backed up and then of course how to re-install your computer back to factory and you can always start over with a fresh build.

I am unable to understand why would the ArrayList class implement the List interface, when it is already extending the AbstarctList class. If anyone can explain, it would be a great help.

List is a crucial piece of information, whereasits
extending AbstractList is a kind of implementation
detail. If would not matter much to the user if it
did not extend AbstractList but implemented List
directly.So why don't those subclasses of ArrayList step up
and implement List again? I agree, extending
ArrayList is an implementation detail, and in fact
perhaps they should have made ArrayList a field
rather than a superclass...Because those subclasses job is not to be a List but to be an extension of ArrayList. In general if you wanted to be a List you would be extending AbstractList. You don't just implement List because you happen to have the right methods, you implement List because you feel being a List is part of that classes main behavior.
Its a suttle point but I feel its more than a matter of style. Its a matter of correctness.
Also, ArrayList could use composition by having an AbstractList member within itself. In this case it would implement List as well and achieve the same result. Letting users know it intends to fill the role of a List.

We have Standard Tracks as the default audio track type for most sequence presets in Premiere Pro CS6, and CC so the situation described in the above video does not happen too frequently any more.
A related issue does happen with frequency, however:
Issue
Some users have trouble dragging a clip into the Timeline with audio. Only the video or audio portion of the clip appears.
Solution
Make sure video and audio is patched in the Timeline, then drag the clip to the Timeline. In certain cases it is not automatically patched.

Try this:
Select "Go" from the finder whilst holding down the Alt key and "Library will drop down in the list.
Library/preferences/ and delete this : com.apple.AddressBook.plist
re-start your comp and it should work.
This . plist will re-create itself when re resart all nice and clean and fresh.
Should work, it does for most things.

Why does audio click/pop at in and out of any transition I apply?

If it's not a pop or a click, after I apply a transsion for some reason the audio level drops during the transition and doesn't appear to be adjustable even with clicking the edit volume button. I have tried many many things and all that seems to work is extracting the audio from both clips that are next to eachother first, and then apply a transition and it seems to be ok but even doing this numerous times I have attempted to extract audio from one clip by pressing Command J or going through the menu and gotten a completely different clips audio when before I extracted the audio it was fine. Why does this happen? In addtion the titles I've added always appear pixilated? Any suggestions? I have read the entire tutorial and know how everthing is supposed to work but nothing seems to be doing what it's supposed to.

For titles, they often look bad on the Mac. Will look fine on TV. You should use simple (sans-serif) fonts like Helvetica or Arial in large sizes.

I never noticed this before, and so i was wondering if there's a good explanation for it: If you look at how ArrayList is defined, you'll see this:

So, why does ArrayList list List in the list of implements? (that's kind of a confusing sentence, read it twice) By extending AbstractList, it's already clear that it implements List - now it's like it's implementing it twice (which doesn't hurt of course, but it doesn't help either.) This seems inconsistent with other parts of the API, where usually in cases like this (with an abstract class being extended) the interface isn't listed again in the final concrete class. For instance:

but:
TiledBorder doesn't mention Border in its (non-existent) list of implements.

o.getClass().getInterfaces() would've missed the List
interface,Since AbstractList implements List, ArrayList has an implicit "implements List." However, as you say, getInterfaces() doesn't produce that.
So you're saying that the VM has to do something different to find the method? I don't think so. The compiler may have to work harder, but in both cases, the VM does an invokeinterface. The javap output looks the same in a copule of test classes I created.

why does my ipod choose to mix the playing order of an album. no matter how many times i remove it from my ipod, when i put the album back on, it is played in a jumbled up order. i have asked itunes but they are ignoring me.

It's likely that your iPod's headphone jack needs replacing. You can opt to have Apple fix it for a pretty hefty price or you can look for a 3rd party repair company to do it instead.
Either way, it might not be a bad idea to bring it into your local Apple store to see if there is anything they can do for you.

Question regarding the symphony orchestra section when it comes to bass, string, cello, viola in Tremolo and Legato modes: why does the sound cut off after 3 seconds.
Let's say you have Viola, Tremolo section selected, how do you make the sound not cut off after 3 seconds. What if you want it lasting 6 or 7 seconds???
Can you override that limitation???

Most likely a network issue. Power cycle the router.
Disable any firewall on the computer, if issue is using AirPlay from a computer.
Ensure the router is running the most current firmware.
If the ATV is connected via Wi-Fi, try ethernet.
Change the Wi-Fi channel if ethernet is not an option.
