Why does bluetooth loose contact?

Magic trackpad looses contact with computer, usually after changing account. Needs to be rebooted to continue.
When it happens may not be able to get connection with magic mouse either. Is this a hardware problem?

Why do you think it doesn't work?
To what are you trying to connect?
Bluetooth is supported for stereo headsets/speakers, handsfree telephone devies, some keyboards, some apps, and internet tethering if provided by the carrier.
Other than this it will not connect to computers or phones.

i have this happen all the time, I move all my media to another drive and files that originated in another project do not reconnect because they have lost there source?

Because you changed the file path. From one hard drive to another...the hard drive name is no doubt different, and then if you have the files in different folder structures then yeah, it will lose the connection to that media.
Best thing to do is to clone your media drive, or name the other drive the same name, and keep the exact same file structure (folders in folders) as the original drive. Then you won't need to reconnect.

Why does Skype suggest contacts to block?

Please help me understand.. PLEASE.. When a user goes to Tools>Options, selects Privacy>Blocked Contacts, there is a list of contacts blocked. Below that is an option to block a contact/s from a list given from skype. I wanted to know why those in particular contacts appear there. Why does skype suggest those particular contacts?/ What was done to make those in particular contacts be on that list?

I never figured out what the logic is behind whose names appear on that list and whose do not. I once thought it may have been the most recently contacted names, however that is not always the case. I think it's random!

I have recently upgraded to a smart phone. Samsung Galaxy 3s. Why does it loose the signal when I am inside a building? It is suppose to be 4G!?

Whys does my Samsung Galaxy 3s loose reception inside a building? I can get updates from running apps but not so good on phone calls or texts.

Building materials will degrade radio signals and in many cases kill them altogether. It's called attenuation This is true with cell, AM/FM Radio, Tv signals. Signals aren't magic. Especially if a building is surrounded by metal and concrete. Especially metal. A building with a metal roof is a signal killer.
Also calls and texts do not use the 4G signals. They use 1x. Version's 4G uses a lower frequency than 1x thus it is better able to handle going through buildings.

Why does bluetooth not work well

I have had two IPhones now and like everything except the bluetooth connection. I have tried 5 different bluetooth devices on both phones and not found one that works. Does bluetooth work better on the new IPhone or does Apple have a plan to ever fix this problem? If not, I will be forced to use another phone since I travel for my job and have to use bluetooth when driving

I have had every model of the iPhone (except for the 3GS) since the beginning. I haven't had a bluetooth headset or other supported device yet that it did not work with. That includes probably 5 different headsets from different manufacturers, 3 cars, 2 different bluetooth speakerphones for cars, and several sets of bluetooth speakers.

Why does a new contact created by a phone number from a mail not show up in my folder of "All contacts"?

I've tried this once before, where I got a text message from a person, whom I would like to add to my contacts.
Even though I tried it several times I did not succeed.
Has anyone an idea of why and how to solve this?

There is one by defualt and there is the one you imported. To better understand how you imported the bookmarks, can you please provide the steps you took to do this?

Why Does Bluetooth Sound Like Pure Crap in OS X?

Using a brand new pair of Bluetooth Headphones running 4.0 with A2DP and a complete stack of other profiles.
Headphones sound amazing on my iPhone 5 and other devices (such as my iPad and Nexus) but they sound tragic on my MB Air 10.8
I've manually changed the Minimum Bitpool in Bluetooth Explorer from 40 to a max of 64 - nothing. Sounds terrible.
Is OS X sending out the signal via A2DP, what's going on here? Why isn't replicating the signal from my iPhone 5 for example?
Any ideas?

Just a suggestion, when you set up BT it makes two devices for output, one is a mono output, the other is a stereo output.
In the Sound applet, click the output tab and scroll down, make sure you have the stereo option selected. in mine I have MR010 and MR010 Stereo, but I have to scroll down the devices to see the stereo option.

Why does bluetooth turn itself off?

A new game that was purchased for my iPad mini requires bluetooth. But after a certain amount of time, the game cannot find the accessory. I go back to the settings, and find that bluetooth has turned itself off.

it always switches itself on after i update. it just did again, this time for 7.1.2.. i t also will switch on after a restore.
i never use bluetooth and make sure it's not on for any other reason.
it's been noticed by others too.

Why does iPhone skips contacts when syncing?

Why is that when I sync iPhone with my MacBook, then it syncs good but skips contacts. I added alot of contacts on iPhone and now they don't get carried over to my Mac. What can I do? What's the problem?

in that case itune swould need to be totally uninstalled and reinstalled
you will need to uninstall 6 items
depending on if you have a windows xp HT1925, or a newer version of windows HT1923 (type that in the search with support clicked) ,

Why does FaceTime looses sound?

Everytime I do a FaceTime with my cousin I have sound for the first little bit then after 20mins-30mins the sound stops working and he is not able to hear me anymore. The weird thing is that the sound only stops for him. I am still able to hear him, but he is not able to hear me. I have tried FaceTime 3 times only and everytime the same thing happens. Any reason why this is happening? Any ideas how to fix it?

Correction, the error message says "poor connection the video will resume automatically when the connection improves" the problem is it never reconnects no matter how far I am from the router. I never loose voice connection only video.

When I export the the F4V to a MOV with Media encoder, why does it loose all of the animation sync?

I need to turn the F4V file that Captivate outputs into a quicktime movie. However when I use media encoder (i also tried it with premeire), The final product is all messed up. The audio plays back in real time, but the video simply runs through the animations one after another, until they end, and then the mov cuts off abruptly. What is going on? How can I turn the f4v into a quictime movie?

If you sync an iPod automatically with an iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with the contents of the iTunes library.
Apparently, you had music on your iPod that didn't exist in your iTunes library. iTunes did exactly what it said it was going to do (remember that warning you didn't bother to read?)... it replaced the contents of your iPod (your music) with the contents of the iTunes library (your videos).
I'm sorry you lost your music, but this is how it has always worked.

Why does AE 9 loose my RAM Preview!!??

Why Does AE9 loose my RAM preview with any little mouse click, I save the session I loose my RAM preview! I click on the timeline I loose my RAM preview!
My experience with AE 9 on the mac is that it is worse that AE8!

I have a 4 core Mac Pro with 9 gigs of RAM. AE 8 on this same computer never had this problem, only AE9!
Using OS 10.5.8.
funny I have not had to worry about RAM allocation since OS9! Are we moving forward here or backwards??

Sorry but i thought this app would have become more polished with version 9, AE really has gone backwards since v6.5 as far as stability in my opinion. you guys are just buying software and adding it into the AE bundle instead of building it into the ap.
