Why does CC install 2 versions of Photoshop CS6

Why Does CC install 2 versions of Photoshop, CS6, a 64-it version and another version, on my 64 bit windows8 machine? Why not install just one version?Do I need both?

32 bit is installed in case you need to use plugins which have not been updated for 64 bit Photoshop e.g. TWAIN for scanners.

I have just recently bought photoshop, When I use the magnifier, it sometimes zooms on the left mouse button and zooms out on the right mouse button. Other times it dosn't do this. Why does it keep changing and how do I get it to stay on L/R button zoom?
I have just created my new site that has many English teachers on Skype All this was done using Photoshop cs6 but I had the problem with the zoom the whole time!!

We would like to inform you that the installer for both Standard and extended version are same, as trial you get Extended version.
If you have serial number for Photoshop Standard CS6, only then it would turn out to be standard version.

Why does it install Multiple CC aplications CC and CC (2014) ?

Ok just installed everything from CC (2014)
Why on earth does it install ANOTHER version and not just update the old one?
And more importably what does this impact regarding Plugins / scripts / extensions etc?
After effects 2014 opens up showing all the Plugins etc... so I am guessing it is referencing the CC folder?!
So what are we supposed to do here? Anyone know? Resinstall everything again if we delete the old CC?

Yes, I read this yesterday as I lost most of my day struggling to get a version of After Effects that would run on my mac and have since discovered that, at some point, I'm going to have to perform a clean install of the entirety of creative cloud.
The article doesn't explain anything other than that one can run both the CC version and the CC 2014 version.
Great, so now we have multiple versions of the same software - do we see this as a trend where the next update will be another discrete version?
Can anyone explain the massive advantage that say photoshop CC 2014 has over photoshop CC other than what, that various plugins are no longer compatible.
I would have been happier for adobe to put their resources into resolving the issue of the updates never working than pull a massively disruptive and ill judged stunt like this.

Why does Lightroom install to 2.x folder instead of simply 2?

Why does Lightroom install to a different 2.x folder each time [such as 2.5, 2.6, 2.7]? Why not just install to the same Lightroom 2 folder?

You're right, this was a mistake on my side. I was misslead by the fact that my recent LR 2.7 upgrade did not remove the 2.6 folders entirely, but this was because I had an additional customized file in one of the subfolders.

I am now using Korean Window7. I would like to install English version of Photoshop CC through Creative cloud.
when I install it, I designated enlish language and change the system language into English in system panel.
it was installed Korean version finally regadless of my efforts.
How can I install it into English version

You must go into Photoshop Preferences > Interface and at the bottom change the UI language from English to Korean, then restart Photoshop.

Why does Flash install Google Toolbar? Honestly, do you have ANY idea how annoying that behaviour is? I had no option at all to not download it, I could not stop downloading it. I was taking from a "you need to install flash" button on Facebook to the download.
Honestly things like this make me rage, installing things automatically without an option.
Until now, I used to think that it was annoying that Apple wouldn't allow flash on some of their devices. Now Adobe pulls **** like this, I'm not surprised. To hell with Flash I say.

It is quite easy to transfer your files to the new Mac.

It's possible that charger damaged some part of the connection on the iPad. There's little metal contacts on that small silicon chip sticking out of the port and if something happens to one of those little contacts it can effect how it works.
You can try taking it into an apple store and have them look at it. If you'd only used 'official' stuff there'd probably be no question but once they know that the damage, potential damage, was caused by a third party device, then it may be up to the discretion of the manager what they do with it. Whether they replace it under warranty or decide that the warranty is void (I honestly don't know how strict they can be with the use of third party devices and how they may/may not work)

Matt59 yes you can install Photoshop Elements 13 separately. The evaluation process is software title specific.

Launch the Adobe Application Manager and click on your name in the top left to the context menu. From the menu choose Preferences and switch the Language field to Japanese.
You will need to uninstall the English version before installing the Japanese version. Uninstall on Windows from the Control Panel and on Mac OS X by using the links in the folder Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
