Why does CC show that I have started by 30 day trial of Photoshop when I took out a subscription today?

I took out a subscription earlier today and installed LR and PS. However CC desktop shows the message, "You started you 30 day trial of Photoshop CC (2014) 11 hours ago." I understood that I would have full access to PS and LR under my subscription with no further purchases needed.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

In the iBooks application on the Mac, there is a checkbox to sync highlights and notes across devices.
I don't see a similar setting in the iBooks app on my iPad. It may require iBooks on the Mac as a mediator.

I have a Creative Cloud license through ETLA, why does Lightroom mobile say I'm on a 30-day trial?

The Creative Cloud license also does not appear on my Adobe ID for some reason.

It seems that having Creative Cloud through an ETLA only provides access to the CC set of software but not all the services that are provided by Creative Cloud "Membership".
For instance, it doesn't look like you get:
Online storage is "Customized" per account as opposed to 20GB for Individual and 100GB for Team (http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/buying-guide-at-a-glance.html)
And "services" are also a custom solution that is negotiated between your company and the Adobe account rep.
The "services" are the bit that would make Ligthroom Mobile work correctly, I believe.
I'm in the same boat, by the way. When I log into the Creative Cloud website, it shows that I have the free plan eventhough the company I work for has an ETLA for Creative Cloud. We just have access to the software, not the services provided in a different type of Creative Cloud membership.

Why does VISA show that a non-present device is still present?

I have NI VISA 5.4 installed and I'm using LabVIEW 2012 SP1 to control a USB HID devices using USB RAW. My computer is running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Using the VISA driver wizard, I created custom INF files that I have installed on my machine and the actual control portion is working great.
My issue is that once in a while VISA seems to think that a disconnected device is still present. As you can imagine, this messes with my application as it tries to talk to unit that really isn't there. Using LabVIEW VISA VIs, the device can still be discovered and attempted to be communicated with (it will just error out though). When I open NI MAX, I see the device listed as present even though it is powered off and disconnected from the PC.
While leaving MAX open, I can reconnect the same unit and nothing appears to change in MAX. The only difference is that now the device is actually connected and powered on. If I connect another unit, I see it populate in the device list. If I disconnect both units, the device I connected last disappears from the list but the first "phantom" device remains in the device list and is listed as present.
The immediate workaround I've found is to reboot the computer. Things seems to work OK for some time afterwards but will usually crop up again while using more than one USB RAW device in this manner.
Something else I just witnessed is that I left MAX and LabVIEW open on my work machine over the weekend and I still saw the phantom device listed as present (it was not connected). I reconnected it and disconnected it and the device properly disappeared this time.
Has anyone else ever experienced similar issues? Can anyone explain what is going on? Since it is critical that my application can use more than one device at the same time, how can I ensure that the devices that are reported as available for use through the VISA VIs are really there and can be used?

actually, I was wrong.
I am controlling another device where this behavior is not observed. As soon as the device is disconnected, LabVIEW knows it is disconnected and it will not show up when you use the "Find Resources" primitive in the VISA palette. The other device I'm using will still appear in the found list even it was disconnected.
For each device a VISA session was opened and USB Interrupts were enabled. The only difference is that the device which "disappears" appropriately when disconnected has a serial number in its serial number descriptor whereas the device which hangs around does not have a serial number in the serial number descriptor.
Maybe this is a clue to someone at NI.

Why does itunes say that i have music on my iphone that i do not?

Wondering if anyone can help with this, its really doing my head in.
Until now, I've always deleted songs off my iphone using itunes on my pc. With the new ios and itunes update, I'm no longer able to do this.
The one thing that is annoying me the most is when connecting my iphone to my pc, I select my iphone and then On This Iphone. For some reason, its showing me songs that I don't have on my phone. There is no way for me to delete this information. I've checked my actual phone and the songs listed aren't actually on the phone but I was wondering if anyone could tell me why its telling me I have music that I don't.
Any suggestions?
Can anyone also tell me if there is a way to use itunes on my pc to delete songs off my iphone? Yes I know you can do it directly via the device but I want to know via itunes on a pc.

Yes, I also have an edit button. I'm trying to create a new folder with a name of my choosing. When I choose edit, I go to a screen that allows me to add one of a number of pre-named folders. There is no way to add my own.
When I look up how to do it online, what I get are great instructions with screen shots that don't look like what I have on my iPhone. There are also bars on the top and bottom of these screen shots that I don't have I clearly do not have the same version.

Why does iTunes say that I have to delete all my applications?

I'm trying to create photo albums for my iPhone 4. I'm doing this by connecting my phone to my computer (I use Windows XP), selecting My iPhone, clicking the Photos tab and selecting the folder that I want to sync to my phone. When I do this, I get a pop up that says "Are you sure you want to remove 26 applications? This will delete these applications and their data from the iPhone." and I do NOT understand why I'm getting this. HELP PLEASE

Your apps were installed from a different computer than the one your photos are on. The iPhone can sync with only one computer.

Why does iTunes say that I have to remove and reinstall it every time I connect my iPhone 4?

Okay, so I just received my new iPhone 4 (my first as well) and am trying to activate it. I have iTunes on my computer already. When I connected my iPhone to my laptop after launching iTunes, a dialog box with an error message saying something like my iPhone can't be used because the software hasn't been installed and that I'm supposed to run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes and then to reinstall iTunes again.
1.) I have gone directly to the website www.itunes.com/download, as it says in the activation guide, and tried to download iTunes from there. After speaking to technical support, apparently that's what I did wrong the first time. That, and I had the phone plugged into the laptop as well. Fail.
2.) I have opened iTunes from my desktop and "updated" the software directly from the iTunes store. Still I received the same message (as previously stated) with NO PHONE attached to the computer. Although, this time it said that my Quicktime was out of date. Uninstalled it, downloaded update. Epic fail.
3.) Lastly, I completely uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled the "new" iTunes. I officially suck at life.

Why is it whenever I use FaceTime it says I use memory when I check the time for when a FaceTime call was made? Do I use memory when I call people for FaceTime? If so how do I delete that used memory?

the facetime program on your iphone takes up memory. How else do you think it can reside on your phone? IF you could delete facetime (which you cannot because it is built in to the operating system on the phone) then that would free up memory on the phone. IF you are referrring to the fact that facetime uses data (if your carrier allows facetim eover cellular data) then you can prevent that by only using facetime over wifi or not at all

TS3276 why does apple deny that they have trouble with some hotel wireless connections that prevent us from sending mail?

This morning I had no trouble sending mail from ALB. Then I did have trouble at the Marriott in Baltimore. This is a recurrent issue. Some hot spots work fine, some only allow me to retrieve mail, but not send any. More than frustartiong as it denies me working ability with mail on the road!

I have noticed this too because I work a lot overseas and live out of many hotels. This is not just a Mail issue but also with Outlook, and it has to do with your outgoing port configurations. It's not Apple's fault it is the ISP behind the wifi and some of these ports are blocked for whatever reason. The only thing that I do is try different mail accounts, ie Yahoo, Google, Mac, until you find one that works. Sounds stupid but that's the only way that
I can keep communicating back to the US.

Did you purchase your product from these firms like Amazon? If yes, this is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Please have a look at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html. (Start here: How did you purchase your product?)
The following part, so I just see at least, ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything takes place in the link from above. I leave it as an info yet, it might still fit for you. For this purpose, please click your way through to your Adobe Store and find the button "Get Serial Number". Fill in the form and after a while you will get the real serial number.
