Why does colour picker cause my computer to lag?
I have recently purchased a new computer hoping that it will be able to run Photoshop CS6, however I have found that when I try to use colour picker the program lags and I am unable to do anything afterwards, unless I restart Photoshop.
My computer specs are more than enough to run the program;

My problem is similar. It began right after I allowed an Adobe update to run. (Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.45.2 is recorded in my Registry.) Now every single website I try to open triggers a window (see below) and repeats many times.
It makes no difference whether I "Allow" or not. I think it runs this window for every flash object on that website. It is occurring while I enter this post!
It makes using the Internet MOST challenging. Surely this is causing major problems for everyone.
I have IE8 on Windows Vista.
Here's the text from the message:

When I change size of icons, or icon vs list display, why does it affect the whole computer? In some folders I want to see a list and others I want to see an icon and I don't need a large icon in all folders. I used to be able to set each folder separately in the old OS. How do I fix this?
I can hilight an item, go to the finder/file/getinfo but there is no box next to icon view.
I can go to view/options and adjust the icon size etc, but this applies to every folder in the whole computer. I need varied options in different folders, i.e., I want to view images as icons and text as text. I have to change it every time I open a folder. I used to be able to set it per folder in the old OS. -

You keep changing the subject without closure, however if you did enter the correct password and it wasn't accepted, it was most likely the result of a networking issue with your network and nothing to do with whether or not the Apple TV is intuitive or not.
I found some movies that I purchased were still on the "cloud".
Yes, that's how it is supposed to work, movies purchased from the iTunes Store are always available through the 'Movie' feature. -

Why does ipad store apps on computer
I am trying to import my music onto new computer, i moved My Music folder to new hard drive and selected Import Folder, and selected My Music.
It now asks me if i want to replace the apps i have (96 of them) and i have to hit DO NOT REPLACE NINETY-SIX times just to get to the next dialogue box.
I DO NOT WANT these apps on my computer from my iPad. How do i get it to quit syncing that way!??!!? So annoying
And why does it import SO MANY duplicate songs?!If you migrate the library as an entitiy then on your new computer there is nothing to import and no duplicates get created. I suspect it is a workflow thing but without knowing exactly what steps you've taken it is hard to say precisely which things would have triggered problems.
iTunes backs up your apps in case you need to restore the device. When restoring application data is only restored if the app can also be put onto the device so having all the components to hand is a good thing, even if it takes up some room on your hard drive. Perhaps if you backup to the cloud then it might not be necessary to keep copies on your computer, but frankly I would not risk it.
As for duplicates I've written a script called DeDuper which can help remove them. See this thread for background...

Why does system exec cause a memory leak to occur?
Sorry if this has been posted before, but I can't quite figure out why this VI is causing a gigantic memory leak (losing nearly 500K of memory a second). It's a simple system exec call, and I even trivialized everything in order to try and discover the problem.
Does anyone see a huge problem here? I've tried calling up taskkill afterward as well, though that seemed to make little difference.
If you don't trust my trivial program (and you probably shouldn't), I've also included the source files for the program - it's a one-line C++ program that returns immediately.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Dilution.vi.zip 11 KBTry putting a wait - even a 0 second wait - in your loop and see if it makes a difference. Without a wait, LabVIEW will try to run that loop as fast as possible, possibly so fast that it never yields time to free resources.

Why does Final Cut cause a hard system crash after upgrading computer's memory?
2x2.8 gHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon MacPro that orginally came with 2gBs of memory. We upgraded to 4gBs of memory by adding 2 1gB ram chips. Ever since, Final Cut Pro has been causing hard system crashes. Does anybody have an idea why this is happening?

the correct type of DIMMs must be installed in the correct slots dependant on the type of processor fitted
install exactly as per the Mac Pro guidelines here:

you will have to reload the web page a few times after the page warning to down load correctly (command R)
if it is per the instructions and your having trouble, the DIMMs are most likely faulty -
Why does opening CS6 cause my display colours to change?

My problem: Whenever I open CS6 (Photoshop, Illustrator...) my display colours on my laptop change. WHen I close the colours shift back to me defult settings. The Image mode is on RGB.
I have a new MacBook Pro with 6GB of RAM.
Any ideas? It's making work (digital advertising) difficult.

Why does embedded video cause audio sync issues?
Greetings all,
I have a question that is perhaps best answered by an Adobe developer or someone who knows the SWF file format and various audio/video standards fairly well. When one drags an FLV file into the library in flash authoring tool, a window appears. If you click "Embed FLV in SWF and play on timeline", an awful message appears, "WARNING: Embedded video is likely to cause audio synchronization issues...". My question is: why would there be any audio synchronization issue? Is this really just a bug/unimplemented feature? Or is there some fundamental shortcoming of current versions of the SWF file format that does not allow for the FLV audio/video signals to be properly encoded in the SWF file? Or is it that the flash player plays SWF and FLV data in fundamentally different ways and that even if the audio/video is perfected sync'd in the SWF file, the fact that it's a SWF file causes flash player to lose sync?
I'm guessing only a Flash developer could answer this (and probably not just any Flash developer!), so if there are any out there, please spare some wisdom for a poor lost SWF surfer.

From what I am reading, you are trying to use the audio that was in the original video-right? By that, I mean, you haven't added a voice over or music-just using the speaker's voice on the tape.
If so, you might want to try using something like a Fade Out or Fade In instead of one of the transitions that add or subtract to the length of the video

Or you could try extracting the audio from the movie so that you could edit it and sync it that way.

Why does opening iTunes cause my screen resolution to change automatically?
Recently opening iTunes started automatically changing my screen resolution. When I close iTunes the screen resolution reverts back to normal. Does anyone now why this is happening or how I can make it stop? I am also unable to view my music library, ipod and contents, paylists etc.... in a column on the left side of iTunes like I used to be able to do. Any help with that issue?
I have tha same problem on the same Mac with CS6 Design Standard.
And I don't know how repair it.
Maybe does it happen for the switching of the graphic card from Intel HD to Nvidia GeForce?
