Why does CS5 GPU Preference Advanced settings only show "Basic" ?
I was setting up CS5's GPU preference settings and clicked on ADVANCED and was surprised to see only BASIC as my only available choice.
The card in my MacPro is an ATI X1900.... Will this limit what I can do in CS5?

The Sync setting only appears if you are syncing your calendar with iCloud. If you are syncing them to another service (such as Google) you would need to go your account with that service and see if you can change the setting there.
If you are syncing your calendar with iCloud, you should see the Sync setting, and be able to tap and change it. -

As the title says i went to use the old one which gives you a lot more data but had an error so went to do it again but you can't do 2 in an hour so thought i'd try the beta but only download speeds! no upload,what you should be getting, ping etc! seems very basic.

HT5429 Why does iOS 6 Maps in China only shows China and nowhere else ?
I was in China recenlty and took an opportunity to walk into one of the Apple Stores there to look at an iPad running iOS 6 - true enough the Maps software upgrade was dysmal, it placed the store in a wasteland, but more interestingly I tried looking for Japan - I couldnt find it... at first I thought this was due to the recent issues between the two Countries, but even when zooming out as far as I could, all I could see was the outline of China and no other Country.... is this the Norm for the new Apple Maps ?
At the bottom left of the maps screen is a little arrow. Touch it, and the map should display where you are. Future searches will start from there, until you touch it again ( if you are traveling....). If you touch it and it shows you are in Australia, it is likely because the location it is using is based on a database that thinks your router is in Australia.
Go somewhere else, like the local Starbucks and try again. At some point it will reset your router location. M -

Both you and the recipient have to have active data connections, and both devices have to have iOS 5 or higher to be able to use iMessage. Also, they both have to have iMessage activated. If that is already the case, there is a possiblility that iMessage is down. It has gone up and down several times in the past week. When I have my MBP connected to my 27" LED Cinema Display, my display settings only show a maximum resolution of 1920x1200, when the specs on both my MBP and Display say they they support up to 2560x1600? Am I missing something?
I finally decided to just take my MBP down to the Apple store and see what would happen if I connected it to one of their new ACDs. At 1st, the guy at the Genius Bar told me that my MBP only supported 1280x800 as a maximum resolution. I told him that was for my MBP screen, and not an external monitor. Finally I convinced him to let me connect my MBP to one of their monitors. Low and behold, looking at the Display settings pane I saw some addtional resolutions, including 2560x1600!
So, now I have confirmed that my MBP can drive an external monitor to a resolution of 2560x1600, using just the single mini displayport connection. I just have to figure out what's wrong with my ACD. Suspecting that my older ACD might not support this higher resolution, I did finally discover that my model only supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1600.

If you open the Organizer and go to Edit>Preferences>Camera or Card Reader, do you have Auto Launch Adobe Photo Downloader on Device Connect checked?

Why does 'User not registered for online use' show up when I try to import a cd into itunes? None of the cd info shows up either.
Well, the format I upload from the camera is "video clip" or "video for Windows"...sometimes I've converted them to avi format, too. But as I said, it never even lets me get that far...I never get to even select a clip. As soon as I tell the program to "import/clip" it freezes up before I can even go to the folder that the clips are in. It has only begun to do this recently, and I'd never had any problems like this before. Last night I tried it again, and I clicked "open composition", and it froze when I did that too.
I'm not sure how much more specific I can be about the details of the clips, since I'm positive it has nothing to do with the clips themselves...I'm running Windows XP, though...Home Edition Service Pack 2, Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz, with 504 MB of RAM. I have had the automatic updates turned on since I did my last reformat a couple of weeks ago. Could it have something to do with some kind of an update it may have done? -
Why does the new version 5 of firefox show up all the graphics on my web sites with a huge wide black border? They should be narrow and yellow!! I use iWeb for my web sites on an AppleMac iMac 22" wide screen.
That is unfortunately a bug only in Firefox 5 and will be fixed in Firefox 6 (Aug).

If you want the same content and playlists on all computers, either use HomeSharing (if on the same network) or physically put the content on all computers. -

Outlook 2013 Advances search only shows cached emails
Hi all,
We have rolled out Outlook 2013 with cache mode on, we have set caching to only one month of data. We are using Outlook 365 as our exchange server.
Quick search works as it should and shows all the results. However, advanced find only shows results from the cached emails. IE nothing older than a month. I have run a re-index etc but still have had no joy. Is there something I am missing?

It sounds like you are unable see your lock screen to unlock your iPad and get you to your home screen. I dont know if this is the reset you have done, but its the first thing I would do:
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
