Why does Extension Manager starts with Dreamweaver?

I teach Dreamweaver at Barrington High School. Extension Manager starts with Dreamweaver, which increases the time it takes to launch Dreamweaver. Is there a way to fix this? I've never had this issue on my laptop, only in the classroom computer lab.

It's Dreamweave for Windows (OS is Windows XP Professional Version 2002, Service Pack 3)
The Dreamweaver version is CS5, Version 11.0, build 4993

You have to use Extension Manager CS6 to install or manage extensions for CS6 products. Normally Extension Manager CS6 will be installed along with CS6 products. But it doesn't work with Lightroom. Lightroom has its own plugin manager feature.

Why does a 'getting started with Office 2011' box pop up when I have activated already?

I already activated the Office 2011 but I continue to have the "getting Started" box pop up, which when asks me to put in my activation key. If I click "Use Office to view your files for free" I can go straight to Outlook, but I don't
like having to conitually have this pop up and I don't really understand it.
It doesn't seem to be popping up when I open word, only Outlook at the moment.

Why does Siri keep starting with my iPhone 6 when listening to music?

I've had my 6 for about a week now. Whenever my battery is below 75% or so Siri likes to come on and start talking.
I Thought it was my headphones so I got new ones. Still had the same problem. Thought updating to 8.2 would do the job. Same problem.
So I turned off Siri. Still having the same issue. In the course of writing this, I've had voice control pop up 15 times As well as my iTunes skipping through songs or fast forwarding them. This is phone number 10 about to be 11.

Sure, uncheck the option for having iTunes organize your files.

Then the manager starts and I have to wait and click a few buttons until I can close it.
How can I stop the Extension Manager popping up?

I have removed and installed the Ext manager twice, no help at all.

Apologies that you have been facing this issue with Extension Manager, can you please follow below steps and let us know if that works for you.
Sorry we do not have a clean workaround for this issue, There is a slightly destructive workaround, where in all your previously installed extensions for all Adobe Products will be removed, you will need to make note of all the extensions installed for each Adobe Product and install them one at a time after you have followed the below steps.
1. Goto Below folder and Delete it completely
     Win : C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6
     Mac : /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6
2. Goto Below Folder and Delete it Completely
     Win : %Appdata%\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6
     Mac : ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6
Please notice the difference in the Mac path, there is an extra "~" for point no. 2
3. Uninstall Extension Manager CS6 with Remove Preferences.
4. Now install Extension Manager CS6

That means iPhoto has broken the file path/link to the original image file. Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
iPhoto 8 (09) and earlier- run the options indicated
iPhoto 9 (11) and later- run Option #4 to rebuild the database
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager (iPhoto 8 or earlier or IPhoto 11 and later) and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the
File ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 8 or earlier)
or
Library ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 9 or later)
menu option to rebuild the library.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Usually means you don't have a bootable system installed so the OS is looking for a bootable system on the network.
Does the computer eventually start up shortly after the globe appears? If so then open Startup Disk preferences, select your boot volume and click on the Restart button. If this is not the case then you need to reinstall Snow Leopard.
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
Do the following:
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install the Combo Updater for the version you prefer from support.apple.com/downloads/.

Using a TiVo DVR, rather than the X1; a Roamio Plus or Pro would solve both the concern over the quality of the DVR, as well as providing the MoCA bridge capability the poster so desperately wanted the X1 DVR to provide. (Although the TiVo's support only MoCA 1.1.) Just get a third-party MoCA adapter for the distant location. Why the hang-up on having a device provided by Comcast? This seems especially ironic given the opinions expressed regarding payments over time to Comcast. If a MoCA 2.0 bridge was the requirement, they don't exist outside providers. So couldn't the poster have simply requested a replacement XB3 from the local office and configured it down to only providing MoCA bridging -- and perhaps as a wireless access point? Comcast would bill him the monthly rate for the extra device, but such is the state of MoCA 2.0. Much of the OP sounds like frustration over devices providing capabilities the poster *thinks* they should have.

What's your current Extension Manager version (6.0.X or 7.0.X or ...)? What's your OS (Windows 7 or Mac)?
If you are using Extension Manager CS6, the simplest way is to delete the EM installation folder manually, then download the latest full installer from http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em6_download.html and install it, then you will have the latest update.
For Extension Manager CC, please go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers" (Windows 7) or "/Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers" (Mac) and send the installer log file (The file name is something like "Adobe Extension Manager CC 7.1.1 12-16-2013.log.gz") to [email protected] so that we can check it.
