Why does firefox not open the address in the browser window via dvd@ccess?

I am building a dvd with dvd studio 4 latest version on a brand new MB Pro / Snow Leapard. dvd@ccess is enabled in dvd studio pro 4 as well as on my computer. The function opens a browser window, but firefox does NOT automatically type in the required address. Therefore the browser does not look it up. This is not likely related to dvd studio pro, since dvd@ccess links to mailto: with no problem, and entourage correctly opens a new mail with the proper address. Please help. Fast – I am supposed to deliver a project! Thanks ;-)

Ok, well I found it quickly without really finding the source of the problem. I created my account here in order to post this problem, and when I received the account confirmation email to activate my account, clicking the hotlink opened a browser window WITHOUT the address! So I restarted firefox and lo and behold, I could confirm my account via the hotlink and dvd@ccess now works, even in the dvd studio pro simulator. Why this bug appeared remains to be answered. I created my account here in order to post this problem, and when I received the account confirmation email to activate my account, clicking the hotlink opened a browser window WITHOUT the address! So I restarted firefox and lo and behold, I could confirm my account via the hotlink and dvd@ccess now works, even in the dvd studio pro simulator. Why this bug appeared remains to be answered. Why does Firefox not open my windows and tabs from last time until I have tried starting 3 or 4 times?

I have this problem with opening Firefox:
My Startup options are set to "When Firefox starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time"
However, each time I start Firefox, by clicking the icon in the Taskbar, it opens with a single blank tab.
I repeat this using "Open New Window" and when I have up to 3 windows, all with single blank tabs open, I close them all. Once more I use "Open New Window" which only then opens with my windows and tabs from last time.
Naturally, this induces initial panic each time, because I dread the thought of losing all my current tabs.
What is going on here?
How can I fix it?

This started happening to me with the upgrade to v30. Previously, new windows did the proper thing of showing previous tabs/windows.
I have history on, not in private mode, and have cleared cache.

Why does Firefox keep opening 3 random tabs while browsing different websites?

Just to clarify: They are never spam websites. They may be 3 of the same website, but it is always random. I only browse safe websites. This usually happens while Stumbling (StumbleUpon).
For example:
StumbleUpon brought me to this website:

Then it also opened three of this webpage:

I have Windows Vista Home Basics 32-bit. And is running Firefox 8.0. (This problem existed in 7.0 and previous as well.

I've already done this, and it says nothing is wrong with my system.

When selecting text on a screen page, when the cursor reached the bottom edge of the screen Firefox (9.0.1) does not scroll. Other programs (including IE) do so, so it does not appear to be a local computer problem.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

It happens immediately after opening Firefox on a two screen system. You get a message saying the Graphics Driver stopped responding, but that it managed to recover, but after a while the system freezes completely. You can't even CTRL+ALT+DEL.

I get this too on with my nVidia GTX460 card. In my case the screen goes black. It happens once every few days, and for a while I could not figure out why. I was forcing a shutdown to get the screen back.
But I put the computer to sleep and woke it up, since that restarts the video, and this let me see what was wrong. The only error message is it reports that Firefox hung. There is nothing else in the Event logs.
I'm running Windows 7 with all the updates from Windows Update, and my video driver is 285.62, but his also happened with the 260.26 driver.
I imagine this is happening a lot, but people aren't able to isolate the cause.
I'm looking for a fix, not a bypass.

Why does apple not remove the malware Genieo - it takes over the Safari browser even with extensions turned off - firefox works fine but the malware is still alive and kicking on my mac. Should I just uninstall safari and hope the malware is not doing more damage in the background?

Apple has never had anything to do with Genio. It is sneakily installed with other apps you think would be helpful. It is very sickening, IMHO.

I have used Firefox for years, as the fastest and most reliable browser for me, esp in China... not anymore! Last month (unknown to me) a hijacker called Vosteran took over my Firefox browser. I finally realized it and got it cleaned up using Malwarebytes anti-malware, and downloaded a new Firefox... now SAME problem exists, even with Vosteran removed!
Firefox will not allow me into ANY normal sites, saying they don't have the proper security code. This includes my Yahoo front page, email account, ESPN and other common sites that are certainly NOT dangerous. So, WHY does Firefox not work anymore? It is useless to me here in China the way it works now.

Why does is not show the radio buttons

I want to display the buttons in a row then radio button in a row under the button and then log scroll pane under the radio buttons. This is my code:

This is my problem. We have a big system that produce lots of log files and the software testers have to manually have to go through the logs file and look for a certain XML tags in the log file.
What I want to do is help the software testers my developing a small tool that will allow them to open a log file and then click on a radio button corresponding to a xml tags that they are looking for and automatically highlight the tags in the file in yellow color .
I am not sure how feasible this is and I am stuck.
