Why does firefox now tell me that it is unable to load the browser because firefox is already running?

After the last 2 updates I have had trouble with the browser. It periodically tells me that I am unable to run firefox because the process is already running. I then need to go to the task manager, stop the firefox process before I can launch the browser

Possibility could have been you had caps lock on entering your security answer either now or when you set it up from the beginning.
Apple will help you out and you will be in good shape.

Why does F.F tell me that the Flash Player download is not a trusted site and why when I look at system it tells me I'm using W.XP when its W.Vista/

I have been using I.E 8 with Yahoo and I updater to I.E 9 and it said that I was a trusted site and then I started having problems with Adobe Flash Player. I changed over to M.ff and now when I go to Mozilla Updates it downloads and then a warning pops up not a trusted site or Unidentified source. I have also noticed that my Toolbars change when I restart or new start my Desktop? I am using Frontier Secure and I get "Harmful Website Blocked" or other warnings that I never gotten before. Is there anyway that a Security Tech. can log in to my system like LogMeIn or another site to show me what is going on with my system? I have spent hours configuring my system and done everything to make it run right. Also I have Flash Player installed on my system but when I run something it tells me "Please install Flash Player? Also why does it say I'm running XP when I typed in windows Vista?

I have firefox 3.6.12 and every time it asks me to instal adobe flash player it gets to a screen that tells me that it will be installed when the conflicting application firefox is closed

Once I have closed firefox it will load the latest version of flash player but this will turn up in the internet explorer software but will not load the plu in into firefox which is my preferred browser. Hence all programs requiring this send me into a loop of frustration.

There are two versions of Flash, one for IE ''(the ActiveX version)'' and one for all other browsers, the Plugin version. You need to install the Plugin version, in addition to the ActiveX version - both should appear in Add / Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here:

Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit 
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed,

My Ipod started making the frowny face at me and telling me to go to support, I plugged it in to my PC and was told that the device needed to be reformatted. I attempted to do so, the quick format fails right away, and when I try to do a regular format, i get the same message after a longer wait; "windows is unable to complete the format". Check your Hardisk, using Disk diagnostic, posted by tt2, it will tell you if your hardisk need to replaced
There are some 3rd party hardisk repairs, which you can try.like EaseUS partiton.

Why does my iPad tell me that the answers to my a security questions are wrong when I know they are correct

I am trying to use my new iPad air to download iBooks with an iTunes gift card and it keeps telling me that my security question answers are incorrect. I do not understand that because they are the answers I provided when asked those questions! Now the darn thing has locked me out of my apple account and every time I attempt to contact support Safari tells me it can't find the server and apparently there is no such thing as 24 hour phone support so what the heck do I do to get my account unlocked and how do I find out what answers apple has for my security questions as apparently they don't have the same ones as I do? I NEED HELP!!

Why does my iPhone tell me that my InApp-Purchase can't be done?

When I try to buy some InApp-content, I type in my password (and yes, I do know that I didn't type it wrong) and then a little window is opening and telling me that my InApp-purchase couldn't be finished and that I have to contact the iTunes-support.
So, here I go, I contact you. Could someone please help me?
p.s.: I already tried some things on my own to solve the problem, like deactivating and reactivating InApp-purchases, using InApp-purchase with and without WiFi, turn my iPhone off and on and so on ... I'm helpless ...

My Iphone kept giving me notifications saying that it has not been backed up in months on icloud, and it can not be backed up so I should manage my storage in settings. I managed my storage by turning off most off my apps from being backed up, but they amount of storage did not change. How can I fix this?

I cannot get Firefox to come up--it tells me that it is unable to load.

I have been trying to get on Firefox for several days now, and it always gives me error messages that state:

Click "Start," type Device Manager in the search bar and press "Enter." Click the arrow next to "Keyboard." Right-click on the Keyboard listing and click "Uninstall." Then restart the unit and driver will install Automatically then ask you to restart again check if your Keyboard works fine.

I have DAP (Download Accelarator Plus) installed in my Laptop. It was working fine in Firefox 4 but few days ago since i've updated the browser to firefox 5 its not working at all. Please suggest what should be done as this software isnt workg as of now?

That is usually caused by Firefox not unpacking the extension.
You can try to set the Boolean pref extensions.alwaysUnpack to true on the about:config page.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)

Hi first off if your running fcp 7 with compressor 3.5 and fcp x and compressor 4 on the same drive you may run into problems
as you now have a mix up between Qmasters which caused me lots of problems when i did any back ground Rendering via compressor of FCP-X
i had to completly remove compressor 3.5 and compressor 4 then put compressor 4 back on again as the shared rendering out of FCP-X seems to loose the plot with both versions on the same on the same drive there is an app

which you can get allows you to get rid of certain bits of FCS and FCP-X correctly as you may know deleting the app is,nt the whole story as you need to remove the pref etc as well
but its really clearing out every thing to do with qmaster thats is the thing here thats what causes all the issues
really you should follow apple install instructions for FCP -X install ( and put it on separate volumes ) and i know they say there is a way to get every thing working on the same drive ...but it did,nt work for me like you i had massive render times and that 3x crash error

once i had remove done my remove C3.5 ,C4 and reinstall C4 only it worked straight away from FCP-X using all the cores on my machine
get some thing like istats or run activity monitor to make sure Fcp-x is using all your cores to render and you can actually see if its doing anything at all instead of waiting 5 hours for an error
if you want to use multi core in compressor 4 you have to go into the new apple qmaster tab and setup up a quick cluster etc
On another note i alway use Optimized media when doing the import as while you editing its back ground render every thing into pro res making it a much nice codec to compress down to H264 which you need for the ATV
i hope that helps a bit ,some else may have a better solution but worked for me
