Why does iCloud keep asking me to verify my password?

At least three times a day I get an alert from iCloud telling me to verify my iTunes password. Why does this happen all the time and how can I fix it?

Every day it prompted me to "Verify iCloud Password'
I have wiped / restored / updated / created a new account.../ reentered / verified / genius bar / tried everything
SOOOOO fricken annoying...
But I solved it..
I just turned it off .. disabled iCloud & all its sync rubbish
Now im iCloud free & loving it...

Likely yo have an app or other iTunes medai trying to download or not completly downloaded.. What happens when you enter the password when connect to wifi?
You can try the standard fixes:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iTunesd and App stores and sign out and sign back in
- Sync to your computer
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Why does iCloud keep asking for a password? I don't remember asking for this and if I try to turn it off it threatens to delete my calendars off my mac but keep them on some else's server!

Try going to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, choose Delete at all of the prompts (your data will still be in iCloud), restart your Mac, then go back and sing back in (your data will download back to your Mac). See if that stops the prompts for the password.

It sounds like you are getting prompted for your iCloud password very frequently. I would sign out of your iCloud account in Settings first:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.

Then I find out that my mother has been trying to set up a new account in her new iPad and its taken over my account details.....that she doesn't know? I'm so confused. I log on here and I see my mothers name and my email address. We live 300 miles apart and she doesn't know my info...how has this happened ?

ISSUE FINALLY RESOLVED!!!!!!
So, it turns out, I had to restore the iPhone...with a twist! Here are the steps:
FIRST BACK UP YOUR DEVICE
1. Go to the library (Hold option, click on "go" in the finder, then go to library)
2. Go to your iTunes folder in this Library (not application support, the main iTunes folder)
3. Go to the iX software folder (i.e., iPhone software, iPad software, etc.) and delete the file in this folder
4. Hook up the phone and then click on restore iPhone.
At this point, it will redownload the entire OS again. You must then restore the iPhone. As it is downloading the iOS, you can disconnect and use your phone for probably however long you want (I did the restore the same day as the download) and when you are ready you can hook up the phone and restore it.
THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP FOLLOWS:
And one many may dislike. Upon restoring the phone, you MUST select "Set-Up as new iPhone"
You need to make sure you've backed up EVERYTHING elsewhere. 3rd party, non-apple/icloud apps will lose data through this method, and you'll lose all texts, your call history, and super old voicemails. The upside is that, if you've backed up, then you can just restart the process if you forgot something. But seeing as how the popup was interfering with my ability to use iCloud (I couldn't sync anything, such as calendar events, reminders, etc., unless I had gone into mail to sign in to iCloud), it was totally worth it....no more popups.
My only wish is that this thread becomes popular. Many people have this issue and you should only use this method as a super last resort (after trying literally everything I had written previously).

Once it searches for photos containing (insert name) and says "(insert name) maybe found in 1,750 photos". I click to confirm the said person and it highlights the photos already found in that persons "folder", which already contains 662 photos AND it does not show any of the unconfirmed photos.
