Why does Icloud photos stoped working

I have Iphone 5. recently I have activated Icloud photos.
on my Iphone I get a never ending upload process (with only 5 images).
on the Icloud web interface I I get for a week now the following message "Preparing your library".
I have tried to stop and start icloud photos. also I have tried to delete all photos from everywhere.
I have plugged mt phone fore a hole day to a charger, to my computer, and all the time was connected via wifi.
can anyone solve this?

I can't solve it, but I can confirm the experience with only 15 photos on perfect network. Stopped using that feature, until it becomes non beta.

How does iCloud Photo Library and Optimize iPhone Storage Work?

How does iCloud Photo Library (Beta) from yesterday's 8.1 update with Optimize iPhone Storage turned on work? (I'm on an iPhone 6)
It only stores your iPhone/iPad versions on your device, which is amazing. Why would you need anything else? It freed up around 8-10GB of space on my device which is amazing. But how does it work when you use it?
When you email it seems to ask you, when sending what size you want to send like it's always done. It gives you the original 2.4MB version. This works like I'd imagine and when I received the test email the photo was correct. In this case I assume it hits iCloud and sends it from there, not your actual device. (Like it doesn't re-download it to email it). Correct?
When posting to Facebook, does it do this same thing? Or is this something Facebook has to build into their iOS app in an update? Or does it just work? Correct?
When posting to Instagram, does it grab the right version. Obviously the phone optimized version should be fine, but when viewing on a Desktop version of Instagram at instagram.com, will it show the right version?
Sometimes I backup photos using Image Capture on the Mac. If I did that right now, would it only grab the iPhone versions? Obviously I can just test it but it'd be amazing if someone who knows these things could explain all of these use cases.

In closing it's more of how does this work? Does it work? Why wouldn't you want to use this feature if it saved space and made more sense? I guess I just would love some real clarity since not even the blogs are explaining how it works in every application.
In closing part 2. It does seem to work really well, it's just those fringe cases. I just viewed all my photos on https://beta.icloud.com/#photos and they're all there, easy download of the high res, delete, it deletes from my camera roll on my phone, it's amazing, it works, it's magic. Just tell me what issues there are with storing only low res iPhone on my device and if there are none, game on!

I don't know, sorry. It's supposed to work alongside Photos & iCloud, so that photos are stored only once. When it doesn't work you have a couple of options as I see it –
Delete the old backups on iCloud to hopefully start over (I don't like deleting the only backup of anything).
Forget about iCloud backups & use iTunes to backup instead, it might not be suitable if you have no computer etc.
Buy more storage for iCloud.
I don't use iCloud backup, it bemuses me with issues like this, there is no easy way to resolve when it fails.
And one more question while we are at it...can I erase iphoto from my computer now that I have the new Photos app?
That is up to you. If you are happy you do not need it & have a backup of it go ahead & remove it. You can re-download it from the app store if it is already in your Mac App store account.

Both you and the recipient have to have active data connections, and both devices have to have iOS 5 or higher to be able to use iMessage. Also, they both have to have iMessage activated. If that is already the case, there is a possiblility that iMessage is down. It has gone up and down several times in the past week. The icons in the Dock are aliases. If iPhoto isn't launching from the dock the alias may be broken. What you can do is first test to if iPhoto is working by launching the app from the Applications folder. Once you have determined iPhoto is OK then remove the old Dock icon by holding it down and dragging it to the desktop, it will disappear in a puff of smoke. Then go to the Applications folder and drag the iPhoto icon to the Dock and test it.

Every time I try to set up icloud i get a message that my account is not verified and I will get an email about how to verify it. I never get the email. I have reset my password 4 times. My email address is good. My apple id works everywhere it should. For some reason my ipad will find my ipad but not my iphone, and my iphone will find my ipad. I cant change the setting on my iphone so the ipad can find it, because it is greyed out because icloud will not verify my email and password, and never sends me the email to verify it. We are on a 20mb broadband connection and there is around 20 people using computers at my work but when I start my Adobe Cloud Product update or when I try and download my Adobe Cloud Product everyone at my work looses their internet connection and so do I. But the update keeps downloading and installing.

IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use. You need to install the Plugin version of Flash for Firefox.

2. Close Firefox using File > Exit

BTW- Your profile shows you have iOS 6.1.4 installed. The max iOS for an iPad is 6.1.3. iOS 6.1.4 is for iPhones only.

Why does flash player not work with fcebook? Whenever I wish to view a video, I get the message that i need to upgrade my flash player. Then no matter how often I download and install flash player I still get the message that I need to upgrade my flash player. When I go check which version I have, I always get the message that I have the most current one. I run Mozilla Firefox with Windows. I don't know anything else.

This means you don't have the latest version installed. Update to 11.9.900.117, and Firefox will allow it: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

I borrowed the image below for an HDR workshop I ran at the 2010 PSNZ National Convention, to demonstrate a method of removing halos. You'll remember that halos were a serious problem with early HDR, and while the halos in this image were caused by over sharpening, they are perfect for demonstrating this technique.
It relies on the fact that halos so often tend to put a lighter tone between the two areas where sharpening is being applied. Whether that is the sky abutting a dark line of hills, or the rock and little tower as in this image. I've uploaded it at the size it was supplied to me at (about 2700 pixels wide). So
Click to open the full image, right click and copy, and paste into Photoshop.
Select the clone tool, and set its blend mode to Darken.
Try to sample on a line horizontal to where you want to clone, to give the best tonal match, and start cloning.
Because the sky is darker than the halo, it overwrites it. But the rock is darker than the sky, so it has no affect.
It works even better if you clone on a new layer also set to Darken. No masking, just Photoshop blend mode magic.
You can also fix the little tower. Use a great big brush — just remember to sample horizontal to match the horizon.
Back then I was using the same trick with CAs after forgetting to fix them in ACR, and having done too much work to start again after spotting the problem.

I purchased the CS5 Adobe Production Premium. I have been working in Premiere and I have been learning about how to use Dynamic Link. I want to be able to alter clips in After Effects and bring them back and forth into Premiere. When I go to File/ Adobe Dynamic Link/New After Effect Composition, I get this message:
Adobe Dynamic Link Requires Adobe Production Premium.
Since I own production premium, I do not know why I am getting this message. I have reinstalled the CS5 Production Premium Software twice and it still gives me the same message. What can I do to get Dynamic Link Working.

Why does my MacBook stop working when I try to plug in my iPad to do some file syncing? This is the second time I have had it happen to my MacBook. The computer just shuts down and cannot be restarted. When I plug it into the charger I get a faint Green light where it plugs into the MacBook. When I took the computer into my local Mac store last time this happened (Nov 2012) they reckoned they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Has any body else encountered a similar issue?

That would be a filter, yes. Didn't know Verizon handed out phone/DSL wall split filters. I would honestly take a look at the physical jack it is connected to for corrosion or lose connections as I doubt the filter is bad out of the box. Anyways, what was the original problem you had with the Phone and DSL that prompted Verizon to send out a filter?
