Why does iphoto not accept my phone number when filling out shipping info for buying cards??

Im trying to generate some thank you cards in iphoto 11 and when paying for them, it wont accept my telephone number in the Primary number box, which is in the delivery contact bit in the shipping information box. The telephone number keeps going red and i cant get any further with ordering the thank you cards. I have been to Itunes to check my billing and payment information and im using the same telephone number so i cant see why it wnt do it?? Please help as these thank you cards are from my kids to grandparents and other family members and my wife is getting irate at me, because i havent done what should be a simple thing!!!!!

Try going to the Apple store (store.apple.com) and re-entering it in your account there and be sure that one click ordering is turned on and try again
Also I'v eseen reports that number of digits can cause this if you are in an area that uses a different number of digits - I believe that someone reported that they had to move one digit to another field to get it to work - you might search the fourms for that post

Why does iphoto not copy all photos when transfering

why does iPhoto not copy all photos from an event when im copy/pasting to an external folder on my mac(for later transfer). All softwares are up to date and ive only just realised it happens, but when i copy all pics in an event then paste in a folder, the pic count is substantially different. for example i select all pictures in an event called 'new1', the count of files is 188. i then copy/ paste to a folder, select all files and check 'info' and it says 141 files???
all i can see painstakingly going through to compare which images are in each place is that the ones that arent in my new folder , seem to be the ones ive edited in iPhoto?? conincidence? or am I missing something fundamental here? Ive only just realised this is occuring. The trouble is, after moving images to folders/hard drives I subsequently delete them from iphoto to keep my macbook airs HDD with some space. So basically all of the versions of pictures I want, i.e, the new edited and adjusted versions are no longer! NOT HANDY!

We've seen a few reports of this in the past while and no one is sure of the cause.
Use the File -> Export command. See this User Tip

means you are losing quality, metadata and the version of control. If you don't want these why use iPhoto at all?
You could just move the whole Library to an external:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

There have been many issues reported with Kodak cameras - serach the forums for them
Actually the best practise is to use a card reader to import your photos, verify that they are imported ocrrectly and wait at least one backup cycle and then use the camera's format command to reformat the card and erase it - this assures no lost photos and always having the card properly formatted

It might help if you could tell us your version of PSE and your operating system.
In between requesting the verification code and trying to apply it, you didn't change any of the settings in Edit -> Preferences -> Sharing did you?
Did you use Copy & Paste to copy the verification code from the email to PSE?
On the page that is asking for the code, you can always click on the resend button and it will send you the code again - worth a try.

I have a further problem - having selected the address I want from the umpteen options pulled from my address book, I then press enter to add another line for another address.....and the first address I selected changes to a completely different address!

IMessage not selecting my phone number, its "greyed" out.

I have an iPhone 4S and it was on a monthly 02 contract but I have not terminated my contract with O2. I had my iPhone unlocked so I could use it on any network. I now have a Vodafone sim card in the phone and am on PAYG. However my iMessage is not working properly. When I try to active my iMessage my phone number is "greyed" out so I cannot send messages via my mobile number ...so can only send text messages. I did use the Vodafone sim card in my iPhone whilst my number was being ported across so it did have a temporary number. However, now my original number has been ported across I can no longer select it under iMessage as it is "greyed" out.
How do I resolve this?

Still Problem... I delete my account ID from My daughter's phone and used her iCloud email account and both of us still have same massage "waiting for activation for Message and face Time setting. Still I can see my daughter's phone number in my phone "you can be reached by face time at" and I can able to check it as well as my e-mail address but my phone number is greyed out... Ok just want to verified I can't able to face time using my phone number anymore? I don't have any option to delete my daughter's number or my e-mail address only I can add e-mail's.... Maybe you have a plus in front of the country code? Delete it and it will work

My Military web site requires a certificate. My certificate that is loaded on mycard reader is a .cer file , foxfire wants a pkcs12 file so I can't load my certificate in foxfire.Why does foxfire not accept my .cer ?

When I try to go to web sight https://sscc-fe-03.med.navy.mil/EXCHANGE I get the message "this page requires a client certificate. I have a Activcard card reader hooked up to USB port with my security inserted. I try to import my certificate into foxfire and it will only accept a pkcs12 file and my certificate is a .cer file. All the checks I do on my card reader show it is working properly and my security card works fine when on work computer but at home I have this problem. How can I get foxfire to accept my .cer certificate when I try to import it or read it off my card reader?

I am running Firefox 12.0. It is not able to import the p12 files which wasn't a problem on the older versions or IE. The error message is either:
PKCS#12 operation failed for unknown reasons
or
Failed to decode the file. Either it is not in PKCS#12 format, has been corrupted, or the password you entered was incorrect
The p12 file I am using is from a certificate test suite from the department of defense. and the file works fine on IE.

Dreaweaver CS4 will not accept the serial number when reinstalling

I loaded Windows 7 and therefore had to reinstall all my software. When trying to reinstall Dreamweaver CS4 I keep getting the message that the serial number doesn't work. I reread it and reentered it several times. My guess is that it won't let me input the serial number because I've already done so on the previous operating system. What do I do to get a new serial number.

There is no such thing as a "new serial number" for legacy products. You would have to upgrade to CS5.5. The issue may simply be because you did not erase your previous activation when upgrading your operating system. Try this. Other than that it could of course be soem sort of upgrade serial itself and you miss the qualifying previous product...
