Why does it ask me to register every time the application is opened?

Why does the application manager ask me to license, or trial my software everytime that I open any of the applications? I thought it was only suppose to check every 30 days?

Hi Leetou02,
You're correct, it is only supposed to check every 30 days.
You might install the latest version of the Adobe Application Manager from here:

  • Why does it ask me to update every time??

I'm very disappointed that a product that used to work so well has gone south. I use a Dell computer, I use firewire for my iPod connection. But while iTunes used to come up automatically, it no longer recognizes my iPod. Also, every single time I plug in my iPod, it wants to update my iTunes or iPod software...and I mean every time! I update, but it makes no difference! The updates aren't even recognized the next time I dock the iPod or call up iTunes. What the heck is the matter with this thing?...this didn't happen until one of the previous updates.

Avinash, after I posted this morning, I restarted my computer, and immediately noticed a recent e-mail from Apple about iTunes 6.0, so I installed it. After I did that, I reset my iPod (I should mention I have the 15GB docking model). It seemed to be working as it should, as it recognized the iPod and allowed me to disconnect (manually) after updating (in the past, it never said it was ever ok to disconnect). Now, even though I thought it had a pretty good charge, I could not get it to turn on once off the docking station. I put it back on, so we'll see if it charges.
I have a neighbor who tells me he has to reset his similar model all the time (and he has an EE and does Computer Security for the Govt!!) Thanks for your reply and I wish you luck!
I have actually spent more time installing updates and trying to get them to work than I have listening to my iPod over the last two years.
Also, my hard disc crashed last fall, and I had to replace it, consequently, I lost my entire library when I went to update my iPod, and had to rebuild it piece by piece.
When I see how much trouble of a similar nature people in these discussions have, I have to wonder. I thought when they came out with iTunes for Windows (to sub for Musicmatch) things would go smoothly, but my friends with Mac computers say it will only ever work really well with a Mac computer.

  • Why does the EEvents message come up every time the computer is opened after being shut off?

Why does the EEvents message come up every time the computer is opened after being shut off?

You need to check the software you run.
Some officially supported and sold Mac versions of software use Wine for porting in some fashion or another.  If some program you are running is spawning these Wine processes, its probably buggy and not shutting down correctly.
How to figure out which are Wine and which are not...?
Well if its a Cider ported game, you just see if there is a Cider logo on the game.
If its Wineskin ported, theres no super easy way to tell, depending on how much its been modified, but you can look inside the app (right click and "Show Package Contents") and go to Contents/MacOS and see if Wineskin executable is in there.  Unless its a very old version of Wineskin it shouldn't be able to hang like that without major issues int he Windows software running in it, and I don't know any any company would release it if it was that buggy.
If its WineBottler Ported, you'll notice quickly because it launches X11 and runs the windows under X11... of course not all X11 apps are Wine, but if you have a program that launches and runs in X11.app then you can look inside it at Contents/MacOS to see if its Wine related.
It could also be Crossover, or a Crossover port of software... you'd have to dig around inside of its app too to see if it looked like one of those.

  • J2EE admin is locked every time the application is Deployed.

J2EE admin is locked every time the application is Deployed.
So, the admin should be unlocked after every deployment
Please give me why this is happning? It's very very urgent

    Hi Krishnaveni,
Can you check for this property "No password change required" - in your visual Admin?
For this one please follow below steps.
Open "Visual Administrator" in that "Cluster> Server>Services-->Security Provider"
Goto "Runtime" - tab and then "User Management". Search for the user "J2EE_Admin" and double click on the user name to get the user management property sheet. There you can find "No password change required". If it is not checked, please check that one. then that password wont expire for every deployment.
    Regards,

  • Why are my iTunes and iPhoto crashing every time I try to open them?

Why are my iphoto and itunes crashing every time I open them?  This is a new problem on my Mac Mini.  Have the latest software on my Mac Mini and the latest iLife sotware.  My mac mini is about 5 years old, always kept up to date.
Processor  2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory  2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics  Intel GMA 950 64 MB
    Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50b)

    Hello Majorie,
Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
Also, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive?
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
    Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.

  • Why does CC ask me to acrtivate every week?

At least once per week, when I open a CC application, I'm asked to activate the application. It's already activated, so this is just an annoying extra step in opening the application. Likewise, I'm routinely asked to update my profile, but the profile is complete (all "required" fields are filled in) and everything is up to date.
I assume that this is not an intentional annoyance and that there is probably some way to make it stop. If you know how, please share.
    Thanks!

  • Why does Flash Player try to load every time I open a link

Every time I open a new link Flashplayer fails to load, I don't know why it's loading anyway. Maybe for the ads About.com puts on top that I don't want and can't get rid of. I get an error screen and have to close Flashplayer. So who cares except it's a pain in the neck. Why? I am legally blind and this is hard to read

  • Why does Mozilla send two e-mail every time I send an e-mail?

Every time I send an e-mail, I see two of the same e-mail in my sent box. Why?
Also why does Mozilla delete my e-mails off the main server automatically? I like to do it manually.

Is it really sending it twice or are you just seeing it two times in the sent folder? Some providers like gmail place a copy in your sent folder already so you need to go into Thunderbird settings and tell it not to do it again. Then you will only see if it once in the folder.

  • Why does my Indesign program appear pixelated every time I open it?

I have recently downloaded the Creative Suit 6 but every time I have tried to open Indesign it appears pixelated making it hard to use. Does anyone have an explination and/or solution to this problem?

Are you referring to the resolution of placed images? InDesign has different levels of preview quality that you can select to match the speed of your machine. The default level is "Typical," which is a low resolution image preview that draws quickly but looks horrid. Any reasonably modern machine should be able to handle the High Quality Display setting without choking on most files, and you can change it from the the View menu by choosing View > Display Performance > High Quality Display, but it's probably even better to open the application prefernces and change the default setting. You can choose to leave object level dispaly performance enabled which will allow you to set the preview individually for very large images that cause a delay while working.

  • CS6 asks me to register every time I launch it - but I HAVE!!

This happens whether I try to launch from within lightroom 4, or whether I launch from my desk top.
It'll work a couple of times, then goes back to telling me I have to register the product.  I only have the 64 bit verion installed on Windows 7.
In my adobe, it shows up as a registered product.
Any suggestions please?  I can never contact an adobe tech!
    Thanks

    Hi Chris,
I bought CS6 Design & Web Premium online from Adobe.com on August 5, 2012. I used the products successfully for 6 months and here in January I start getting requests for my SN every other time I boot one of the applications. I've used "Chat" on Adobe.com and they have me input my SN, the message goes away and they hang up believing the problem is fixed. I tell them this is a persistent problem but they dont want to really seem to want to help.
And today Acrobat Pro has stopped accepting my SN altogether.
Oh, and I too have recieved the "My Trial Period is 36,767 days".
From reading this page and the messages, this is a known problem. Today is Jan 24 2013. I see the first parts of this post started in October.
What are we supposed to do when the software we depend on to make a living stops working and Adobe tech support is LESS than supportive in resolving the issue?
Adobe is better than this - What gives? For the first time, I am disappointed in your company and products. ANY help would be a step in the right direction.

  • Why does Lenovo Solution Center keep running every time I log back on?

    Hi all,
    Have a Thinkpad L430.
Every time I log back into my user account on the laptop, whether from fresh boot, sleep or hibernate, within a few minutes I get interrupted by the Windows 7 User Account Control asking me if I want to allow lsc.exe to run.
If I view details it says it is program location '"C:\Prgam Files\lenovo\lenovo solution center\lsc.exe" -updatestatus'.
I've no problem with the machine checking for updates but a) I'd rather it did it when the daily Windows Home Server backup is running (i.e when I'm still asleep and not actively using the computer) and b) I'd like to know if there's any way to allow this program to run as admin so it doesn't keep interrupting me
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

You should be able to disable it in the LSC dashboard.  I will download LSC and locate it for you.
*edit*  Launch LSC>Dashboard View>Edit>Drag "Updates" or any unneeded item to the right "Events not monitored" section to disable.

  • Why does this error message pop up every time i open something.

We’re sorry, but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar.

    I found out!!
    By following this:
I've been having the same problem. The thing is irritating. I searched community toolbar in google and found something that has been working for me. So far so good anyway.
    Open the Library folder
    Open the InputManagers folder
Put the CTLoader in the trash.
Empty trash. You may have to resart in order to empty trash
I also was asked to give my admin password.
Aaagh. No more Community Toolbar warnings
