Why does it keep telling me I have too many tabs open even if I only have one or 2?

When I am online, several times a day it will not open a new tab and pop up a screen that tells me I have too many tabs open and gives me the option to let it close them or I can close them. But I may only have 1 tab open, sometimes more than that but it doesn't seem to matter how many. I can shut down my computer and bring it back up and it will work ok for a little while and then all of a sudden when I go to open a new tab it does it all over again. I am using mozilla and vista.

You may have an unwanted extension that is modifying sites (or the toolbar area). Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that flush the tab?

It is kind of hard to reconstruct what you did exactly and it may be that things have gotten pretty messed up -- it's easy to do that with OSX. For starters, try running Disk Utility. First, verify your hard drive with the repair feature (there are probably four buttons that do 4 different things). If verify checks out okay, repair permissions. Depending upon which ones are messed it it may cure some of them but not all.

the Advisor is just telling you the same thing you can see for yourself in the Task Manager; I can open firefox with only a few tabs and then watch the memory usage skyrocket when Firefox should be doing nothing - after a couple of hours it will get up to as high as 1.5GB before it completely hangs and I have to end the process in Task Manager, and this does this with all extensions disabled and in Safemode.

If it's really a couple dozen pictures, I would expect it should be under 100 MB.
You can try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the used space is still so high.

I am new to Portal.
we have a SAP Inbox Iview that works fine, but the problem is when the user try to execute Purchase Requicition Approval, the error "You have too many sessions open. Please close one and execute the workitem." appears. What really bothers me is that the error appears as IE error message but the detail of the error looks like SAP.
Your help will be appreciated.

When i try to install Photoshop Elements 10 why does it keep telling me to insert disk

I purchased a Wacom Bamboo Create and it came with a software package which included Photoshop Elements 10 but when I try to install it, it accepts my serial number but won't let me complete the process. It keeps telling me i need to "insert Photoshop Elements10" to continue.....but the software package disk is already in the disk drive. I have a macbook pro retina that runs on Yosemite....anyone know how to solve this?

if no, copy your cd contents to a desktop folder and attempt to install from the desktop folder.

When I have many tabs open, & I am viewing the 1st one in the row of tabs, how can I make ctrl+T open tab next to it instead of down at the end of all the tabs?

If, for example, I have 50 tabs open, and I happen to be working on the very first tab out of the long row of tabs (tab #1 out of 50 total tabs)....if I suddenly need a new tab next to the one I'm on so that I can do something else related to what I am doing on my current tab's website, pushing ctrl+t opens up the new tab clear down at the very end of the long row of tabs (i.e., the new tab would be tab #51). How can I make the new tab open up right beside the one I'm working on at the moment?

When I have 10+ applications open in Windows 7, I can click and grab the toolbar edge and drag upward, causing a "second" row of viewable and operating applications.
I was just wondering if the same could be done with Firefox. It's not a tragic issue. Sometimes I get many, many tabs going and (trust me Firefox is my favorite) would like to see all tabs at the same time, even if it causes 2 rows of tabs and cuts down on my viewable screen area.

There's a little box that comes up on my computer after I try to update the Adobe Reader. It says: "Your current security settings will not allow this to download". So I went into my Norton Security and disabled the antivirus program. I don't even know if that was the "settings" that the message on my computer was meaning. But what has happened is when I try to use the Adobe Reader XI that is on my computer, a little box comes up on my screen that says "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded" and I'm unable to get Adobe to work.
