Why does iTunes automatically sign me in to my acct. after I have logged out?

This is very annyoing. I logged out for a reason - hello.
It's bad enough that iTunes contiunally badgers you to sign in whenever you access your music library. But even worse, despite declining the multiple prompts to sign in, the system does so anyway... behind your back!
And before I get the standard repsoneses, No I don't use iTunes Match, No I don't have Automatic Downloads enabled, in fact, I didn't even have wi-fi enabled at the time (it used my cellular data - which, BTW, is turned off for Music!)
This becomes a big issue for me, because if I don't sign out of my iTunes acct. before synching my music, iTunes takes the liberty of renaming all my music to match their exact decsriptions in the store. Another rdiculous problem. So I've learned this work-around, the hard way, and now I have the magic login fairy to contend with.
I've said it before it in several other posts, if a person doesn't use iTunes Match, Automatic Downlods, or store their music in iCloud, then don't touch my music.
Anyone else have this issue?

Yes. The screen is showing iPhone in Recovery Mode and needs to be Restored with current iTunes on computer.

you may find that WMP is doing this for you.
There is a setting is WMP that means that it checks the info held in the file (and shown by itunes) against that held at Gracenote and 'updates' the info where there is any disagreement. On my copy its under the 'media library' tab.
Turn this off if its on.

Why can someone access my emails on my iPad even when I have logged out?

Hi when I log into my email account with bt - I read my emails and log out. If I then pass my ipad to my friend he logs into his email with bt also. If he then clicks on mail it takes him straight to my emails and he can't access his own, regardless of how many attempts he makes logging in and out.

I really appreciate your help but now think the problem may be with accessing BT on iPad.
Whatever I do, BT mail keeps opening with MY email. Does anyone else have this problem. BT users out there give it a try for me.

Why does itunes automatically close when I try and listen to a podcast?

When I click iTunes and then click on podcast it automatically closes iTunes. I can listen to my music but podcast won't play. why is this and how do i fix it?

If it's just a single podcast that's doing this it may be corrupt. If that's the case delete it and try re-downlading it. If it's all podcasts then you may need to restore your phone. Follow this guide to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414, being sure to back up your phone at step 6 (you will be able to restore your phone to this backup at the end of the process).

Why does Firefox automatically install it's latest update, even after I've spent months clicking the 'no' button whenever I've been asked to update?

For months Firefox has been providing me with a little dialogue box asking whether I want to update to the latest version. This has been annoying, but each time I have politely clicked the button saying that 'no, I do not wish to update at this time', allowing me to get on with my day using my preferred version of Firefox. However, just moments ago when I most recently opened my Firefox browser, a simple look at the tabs told me that Firefox had updated itself without my permission (something which has happened in the past and really ticks me off). Whenever this problem has presented itself to me in the past, however, I have simply been able to go onto the Firefox website and download my old version. When I tried doing that this time around however, I somehow keep getting stuck with the latest version, which is extremely rankling and the sole reason for my complaint. If Firefox would just stop inviting it's new versions onto my computer whenever it felt like it, I wouldn't be seriously inconvenienced whenever I felt like browsing the internet. It also seems to be harder to find the old versions of Firefox than it used to be, as I am having a devil of a time trying to find my old version (though that may just be me). Frankly, if Firefox would just stop automatically updating itself, it would save me a lot of unnecessary stress and hassle.

if i have to read any comment by matt n again i will throw up...in my mouth. i have gone all over google trying to figure out what the f ff did to me without my permission, i have updates turned off so there should be no prompting to restart, there should be a polite offer not a forced update. i am angry and so are a ton of people.

I have the latest version of iTunes. Whenever I click on the iTunes store section on iTunes the loading bar reaches half-way then stops. I can access my acount on my ipod touch however. i have tried reinstalling itunes but no help. I do have an internet filter but it is not doing any pop-ups(as it always does when it blocks content) so I am very sure that is not the problem.

I recently purchased an iPhone 5 with ATT network. It worked halfway, and now not at all! Both companies are pointing the finger at eachother. I think it is the Apple ios 6.0.1 software upgrade. I can't even get a tether at all for a few days now. I've tried every reset, reboot, network settings, restore feature, and finally a new phone. If they don't get it fixed I'm going over to a S@msung Galaxy III and Verizon.

I still use Win XP sp 3. My firefox browser doesn't do it very much. I will have everything else closed out except my firefox. I'm not doing anything differently than should be done to finish. I will click the X to close. Then, I want to go right back into firefox and what happens next is the point I'm talking about. When I click my desktop icon, a box comes up that says, "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. You must first close the existing firefox process or restart your system." The problem being, is that there is nothing on my screen but my desttop.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

Why does Itunes sync my purchase transfers to the wrong hard drive?

I'm running windows 7 with a 64gb SSD boot drive and 1tb data drive. My boot drive is almost completely full. I installed itunes on my data drive and set the preferences to sync media to the data drive as well. I plug in my old ipod to tranfer purchases before an update. The tranfer never finished because it synced all of the data to my boot drive and now my boot drive is completely full and the data is nowhere to be found. I recently had the same problem with it syncing an iphone backup to the same drive, but I found a work around for that. Why does Itunes instist on loading stuff on the boot drive? How can I redirect it? This is simple preferences that should be available to change, but simply aren't.

If you need to authorize your new computer and are unable due to already having five authorized computers, you can deauthorize all computers by doing the following:
1. Click iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
2. If you're not signed in to the store, click the Account button, then enter your account name and password.
3. Click the Account button again (your Apple ID appears on the button), enter your password, and then click View Account.
4. In the Account Information window, click Deauthorize All.
