Why does jazzfont not work any more in logic after upgrading the OS to 10.7?

Hello,
I was working with the sigler jazzfont in logic studio 9 and everything was fine until some time ago I upgraded my system to OS 10.7.
Now my score is looking like a piece of graphic art when I use jazzfont:
I've contacted sigler, they sent me the latest vs. of jazzfont - saying it worked fine with 10.7 in finale... I installed it - no change
Any chance to get this beautiful note-font back working? (Otherwise apple will have to kill the mentioning in the user-manual... - at least)

I kept forgetting and procrastinating about following your instructions, since I have internet access only for limited amounts of time and usually I am busy with important tasks when I am.
Out of the blue, the problem corrected itself (the Save As box started to open full screen, then shrunk down to a normal size and the edges can now be dragged to a custom size).
Even the copy and paste problem in the filenaming area seems to have been less troublesome lately even though there have been no updates to Firefox in a few weeks.
Even though I marked the solution as not helpful, the problem has in fact been resolved. I will save the solution instructions in case the issue returns.

Admin Console does not work any more...

When directing my browser to the admin console, I get

and that it. I cannot figure out why it doesn't work any more; I see nothing in the logs.

Adobe Acrobat Pro Licence is not working any more

Hi, Adobe Acrobat Pro is not opening any more and giving the error "Licence is not working any more". I have a CS4 on Mac OS X 10.5.8. I tried all the suggestions in the Help Forum. What remains is to install CS4 again. Is there any risk doing that? Or is there any other option. Best, Felix

Mine quits working every now and then.
Most of the time I can fix it by doing a power button, home button reset. When that doesn't work plugging it into my computer does.
What have you tried?
Also I believe it is a software problem not hardware. So I would suggest not replacing it until you can get your hands on the "iOS 5.1" update. That is what I am waiting on before I calling Apple and/or ATT and raising the roof with someone over this issue.

Why does Firefox not work here in China anymore, since January of 2015?

I have used Firefox for years, as the fastest and most reliable browser for me, esp in China... not anymore! Last month (unknown to me) a hijacker called Vosteran took over my Firefox browser. I finally realized it and got it cleaned up using Malwarebytes anti-malware, and downloaded a new Firefox... now SAME problem exists, even with Vosteran removed!
Firefox will not allow me into ANY normal sites, saying they don't have the proper security code. This includes my Yahoo front page, email account, ESPN and other common sites that are certainly NOT dangerous. So, WHY does Firefox not work anymore? It is useless to me here in China the way it works now.

hello rickinchina, first please make sure that the '''date, time & timezone''' are set correctly on your system and that firefox is set to directly connect to the internet (that's the "'''no proxy'''" setting in the firefox ''menu ≡ > options > advanced > network > connection - settings...'').
if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a possible solution depends on different factors:
* what is the '''error code''' shown under ''technical details'' on the error page?
in case the error code equals ''sec_error_unknown_issuer'', please attempt to add an exception on the bottom of the error page (but don't do it for real) and inspect the certificate (see the screenshot attached for instructions):
* which '''issuer information''' does the certificate contain?

Rules not working any more in mail.app

in my MBP yosemite ( Exchange mail ), I configured some rules. They used to work fine . But since this morning, I noticed that my rules are not working any more.
I checked on console log and noticed the Assertion Failure when applying manually the rules :

I don't know if its connected but I also just noticed a problem. In my case all the rules I had set have changed so that they apply after 7days (rather than the 30 days I had originally set). I can't get them to change back no matter how may times I try.

Upgrade from Tiger makes smart folders not work any more.

I tag certain categories of applications with Spotlight comments, and create a smart folder to find those files with that Spotlight comment. This way I can have a folder for 'games', for example.
Those smart folders don't work any more in Snow Leopard.
The Spotlight comments are still there, tho.
Here is what is stranger. If I recreate the smart folder, it still does not work.

Ug! I have to reenter all the Spotlight comments on each Application. That fixes it.
Not sure if recreating smart folders was necessary, tho.
