Why does my apple ID password work everywhere except iTunes and the App Store?
I need help guys my App Store and iTunes are not accepting my apple I'd password, but it works online? Does anyone know what to do

To use your Apple ID at the iTunes Store
Open the latest version of iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In from the Store menu.
Enter your Apple ID and password, then click Sign In.
Click Review when asked to review your information.
Enter your billing information, a credit card will be required.
Click Continue when you're done entering your credit card and billing information.

App Store Failure / Updates White Screen
Tap Settings > General > Date and Time > Set Automatically > Off. Set the date one year ahead. Then try to access the App Store.
It may be a connection issue. Try changing your DNS settings to Google’s open DNS by tapping Settings > Wi-Fi >, tap the blue arrow next to your current Wi-Fi network, and then tap the “DNS” field and enter the DNS servers; 8.8.8.8 (Google’s Public DNS, 8.8.4.4 also alternate). -
trying to update apps in the app store. My old apple id comes up. I've already signed in and out off itunes and the app store several times with the current id. still everytime i try to update the apps the old id comes up
Apps and their updates are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them originally. It will always ask you for your old ID if they were purchased using that ID. The only way to stop this would be to delete them from your phone and your iTunes library, then repurchase them using your current ID.

Why does my iPhone 5 crash when purchasing a game in the app store?

I have an iPhone 5 model A1429 with 16GB with iOS version 7.1.2 (11D257).
I am trying to install the game Lies of Astaroth (https://itunes.apple.com/app/id586902335)
But after pressing Install and entering my iTunes password, my iPhone 'crashes' (the screen kinda goes green) and restarts.
I have tried 3 times and the same thing happens.
Did anyone else have this issue?

LeonDoes this happen with any other application you try to download from the App store? If you haven't tested that, pick another app to download and see what happens.
If the other app downloads fine, then it's not your device, it's the other app.
Alternate method of installing an app is to download it on your computer via iTunes Store, and then sync to over to your device. -
Ok I don't know why in the world everyone else has access to the App Store and almost anything they want. Guess what I have access to? Yea that's right I have access to nothing that they have! I believe that their iPads are glitching and that might be how they got access to them! I hate how I don't have any access when I don't have access to anything that they have access to! They have almost no restrictions on their iPads and I have all the restrictions that the school sets!
I don't know if you're looking for us to offer a solution to you? We can't. If your school has set restrictions on your iPad, you need to discuss this with your school system admin.

Have just bought the new iPad, everything working fine including iTunes, the app store and iCloud but when I try to log in to both FaceTime and imessage an error message comes up saying it cannot connect and to check my connections. What am I doing wrong.

ITunes and the app store on my iPod won't let me log in with my apple id
both itunes and my ipod app store wont let me login or download apps. it comes up with the message 'unknown error'. it lets me log in to this website though and i just dont know what to do

On your iPod tap Settings > Store then tap Apple ID then tap iForgot
Now "reset" your Apple iD password. It may help even if you can login here. Two different servers. -
All suggestions welcome. It has worked in the past BTW - not since the recent update.
I had exactly the same problem a few days ago. I had to go into the settings and choose to reset all settings. Worked fine for me after that.

we are trying to face time between devices, but it won't work whn multiple devices are tied to one apple id.
How do you designate one id to pay for purchases and one so that we can facetime from device to device?The ID used for purchasing is in Settings>Store. This ID does not need to be the same one used for other services such as FaceTime, iMessage, etc. (in fact you're far better off if you use separate Apple IDs for these other services). To change the ID used for iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Receive At, tap the ID at the top, sign out, then sign back in using a separate (and unique) ID. You can similarly change the ID used for FaceTime in Settings>FaceTime. To sycn data with iCloud such as calendars, contacts, etc., without merging your data across devices, set up different iCloud account with different Apple IDs for each device. You can go to Settings>iCloud and turn off syncing for your data, and when prompted, choose to keep the data on the device. Then scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Then set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID for each device and turn data syncing back on in Settings>iCloud.

When I try to download anything from iTunes or the App Store on my iPod Touch, my sister's Apple ID pops up instead of mine. How can I get my iPod Touch to display my Apple ID and ask for my password rather than display my sister's Apple ID?
You can try to tell the iPod to use yours:
1. Tap Settings
2. Navigate to "iTunes & App Store"
3. Tap Apple ID:
4. Tap "Sign Out"
5. Sign in to your account.
