Why does my Avast! antivirus program say that Firefox is malware and could be infected and that it stopped my pc from crashing when Firefox opens up?

My Avast! antivirus warns me about a possible computer crash when the Firefox opens up. It does this every time.

I trust that you are aware that Firefox 5.0 is no longer supported, and that Firefox 10.0 is due to be released today.

Someone please explain why my Iphone 4 keeps saying that no sim card is installed.I have to keep taking it out and putting it back in. I have even got a new sim card and it still does it. The SIM card is not saying anything.
The device is reporting "SIM not installed".
Remove and reinstall the SIM.
Replace the SIM.
If the neither of those resolves the issues, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

Why does the HP Solution Center say that my Photosmart premium C309g-m is disconnected.

When I double click the HP Solution icon it opens but says my printer is disconnected and the ink levels are not available. I have a wireless connection and everything prints fine.

At this point I would go to Start > All Programs > Hewlett-Packard > [your printer model] > Uninstall and uninstall all of the HP software.
Restart your PC.
Get the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page and install it, choosing a "Network" installation type when it asks.

Hello all, I'm a new user so forgive me if I'm asking something already asked.
I'm looking to download OSX Lion on a 2010 Macbook Pro, 13 inch. When I tried to download it, an error message came up saying that Lion needs 2GB of memory. I checked "About this Mac" and it told me I only have 1GB of memory. I opened up my Macbook, and there are two seperate 1GB sticks inside...call me crazy, but doesn't that mean I have 2GB? I ordered two more 2GB sticks to upgrade myself to 4GB just for the sake of having more memory, but I'm confused and concerned.

Try re-seating the sticks.

Memory is the RAM, not the Storage space, you're thinking of the Storage space that gets used up when you download a movie or something, the notification is about the RAM, which is used to temporarily store information so it can be accesses faster, the iPhone 3GS has 512 MB of RAM, my iPhone 4 has been saying that now and then since I updated to iOS 5, so it's been a while.
I don't think there is anything you can do about it, except for closing apps, by double tapping the home button and tapping and holding on an app to enable wiggle mode, then tapping the red button to close them. This frees up memory, which should prevent the notification and may even speed up other things on your iPhone.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. Note that in iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show your past purchases with links to stream or download them.
In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
Alternatively, depending on exactly when and why the library went missing, there may be a more recent .tmp file in the main iTunes folder that can be copied and renamed asiTunes Library.itl to restore the library to an earlier state. Look for a recent .tmp file that is similar in size to the .itl files in the Previous iTunes Libraries folder. If it has happened repeatedly you may want the earliest such file generated since the last iTunes upgrade.
If applicable, see iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. Even if you have the media you can use selected steps from the tip to ensure that you don't lose settings and data from the device as a result of switching libraries.
A large number of users with this issue have been using AVG Anti-Virus which appears to be implicated in the problem. AVG have released a patch which might help, so if you use AVG then I would update that first. I'd also be interested to know which AV you use in case others may cause similar issues. I recommend excluding the iTunes folder from any real-time and scheduled AV scanning process. Another possible cause could be automatic backup tools.

This folder is probably treated as a program to run at startup.
So you will have to look at the places where such programs are referenced.
For instance, you may have a shortcut to that folder in your Start Menu > Startup.
Or it may be in the Registry.
Click on Start > Execute, the type msconfig and click OK.
This will show you in the Startup tab all the programs launched at startup.
