Try to delete the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Most people have no problems with installing firefox as an upgrade, but there are quite a few things that can cause problems. Please have a look at the articles

Post back after you read them and say what you tried. Have you ensured you used an admin account, possibly needing to check the UAC setting, and that security software is not blocking the changes. You should certainly try starting in firefox's [[safe mode]] either from a menu/icon option or by holding the shift key as you attempt to run firefox.
Is the browser icon you see on the desktop, and a firefox icon ?

Why does my battery drain so quickly on iPhone 5s?

Has anyone else found his/her battery draining more quickly than normal. I can begin the day at 100% and within an hour be down to 70% or even less. Is it the iOS 7.1.1 update? The data and wi-fi settings are on, which is the same setup as I had before on the iPhone 5, which ran on iOS 6. That battery lasted as advertised. Anyone with similar problems? Solutions?

Every time I charge it fully, when i get on it it just goes from 100 to 95 to 90 in under 5 minutes and it just dies too fast. I've recently backed it up, I have the brightness low, I even deleted a lot of unnessecary apps. Can someone please help me?

I keep on losing my tabs and i am getting seriously frustrating as i need them to open each and every time i open firefox 4, i have tabs mix plus. why does this keep on happening? please help as i am a student and i need help with this..

i have now installed too many tabs 1.3.3 to see if that will fix problem.
but yes each and every time i use firefox, not googlechrome, or ie or opera but only firefox 4 and having used tabs mix plus before i never had a problem.
but now with firefox beta and now the full release, the issue is still arising. evrytime i open firefox i close my eyes and wait for it to load... and load... when it does open, i open my eyes and lo and behold my tabs are gone.
thats it please help guys, i love firefox for many reasons i dont want to use opera.

I have the same computer and I'm having the same issue. My battery doesn't even last me through class anymore when it used to last me through all of my classes. It also gets very hot when I am really not doing much to stress the CPU. This all started after the latest update to 10.8.5. I hope this gets resolved because my computer has become useless to me now.

If you go to System Preferences > Network do you see other networks listed on the left panel? Is the lock in the lower left corner closed? If not, highlight your network, then close the lock so you block other networks.

If you updated iPhone to iOS7, it now checks for real Apple Lightning Cable. Your cable may not be Apple, or someone swapped another cable with yours. Make sure the cable end is clean, take a clean dry toothbrush and carefully clean charging port on the iPhone.
