Why does my computer wont let me sync my ipod
Every time i plug my ipod touch in he computer it said "ipod can't be used cause apple mobile device service has not started

I haven't been syncing my iPod for a very long time, because the computer I originally sank my iPod too broke down and I was afraid to sink it to another computer.but now that I finally want to sync it to my other computer it says "windows cannot reconize device" .it wont let me sync my iPod at all.when i go to itunes i go under file and i try clicking on "sync iPod" but it wont let me.

I got the new version for laptop of Itunes. For some reason it will not let me sync my ipod. I tried through Wi-fi and by connecting it directly to my computer and nothing. I have suffient space. Someone please help ! !

Me and my sister have shared some songs and we got a new laptop and ive tried to sync all of my songs onto the laptop but it tells me that i am not authorized although i am. Try moving the existing backup file to a safe location so iTunes has to make an entire new file. It is located here:
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: If you do not see the AppData or Application Data folders, you may need to show hidden files (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7), or iTunes may not be installed in the default location. Show hidden files and then search the hard drive for the Backup directory. -
i have just plugged my i phone 4s into my computer and it automatically synced with i tunes, i tunes for some reason removed all the apps and backed up my phone automatically. ive gone to put my apps back on and its showing me an automatic flash up message saying, i tunes could not upload ibooks onto your device,it must be authorised. Im signed in and im also authorised, ive de authorised and authorised my account now twice.ive deleted the app i books as i read it could be out of date now and still it wont let me sync my apps. its letting me sync some apps that i bought on my new phone and not my 3, i also had an old e mail address registered with these apps and this account but hotmail deleted it for some random security reason. i have also bought an i pad recently and that works fine with my i tunes.can anybody help me as i have an i phone 4s now with nothing on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this new i tunes is crap!!!!!!!!!!!!! never had problems before,all i did was change my e mail address last time and everything was fine with the old version!!

why does my iPhone 4 always say "sync will resume when "... MacBook Pro" is available??? i can't seem to sync over wifi
Try the following:
1. Connect the phone to your computer using the USB cable and let it sync.
2. Uncheck "Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi"
3. Click Apply
4. Check "Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi"
5. Click Apply
6. Quit iTunes
7. Disconnect the phone from the USB cable
8. Make sure your phone is connected to your Wi-Fi network
9. Open iTunes
iTunes should see your iPhone and connect to it. Go under Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync and see if you can initiate a sync. -
My itunes in computer wont let me transfer my apps to my ipad. I have the latest version of itunes. Please help. When I press sync it says its syncing but at the end the apps are still not on my ipad.

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

My computer will not let me sync my ipod touch
I just purchased a new computer about three months ago with windows 7 ultimate. I downloaded itunes and it works fine, but it won't let me sync my ipod. It comes up fine at first but either while it says it is being verified or while it is syncing my itunes freezes. I can't sync any of my songs. My ipod touch is a 1st gen 16 gb and it works just fine with other computers (it isn't jailbroken either). I tried using alternative software to upload music onto my ipod, but the same thing happens! My itunes does work with my old ipod nano though.. Do I have a bad driver or something? What is wrong?
Two things:
- Completely remove and reinstall the Apple software by the following. That link provides a link for Win &.

- If you still have a problem after restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod you likely have a hardware problem. An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is then in order. -
i have updated to the latest itunes and my iphone software to version 5 but now it wont let me sync my custom made ringtones ??? help !! it says it can sync them but then it does not copy them from my itunes back onto my phone ?
I have the exact same issue. I havent found our what is causing it either. Multaple re-install attempts with no success. I have to use Windows Media Center to burn audio discs. Any other advice?

Download new itunes update and now it wont let me sync. Keeps saying I need 26gb of free space which it didn't say before I downloaded the update. It doesn't make sense. It keeps saying:
The iPod cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library. (additional 26gb required)
This makes no sense because before the new itunes update there was no problem with me not having enough space. I have 5gb of free space now and I had 5gb of free space before I downloaded the itunes update. Nothing should've changed. And I should not need an extra 26gb of space. How do i fix this problem so I can my ipod normally again.Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.

Hopefully someone can help.... I have an Iphone 5 and want to create a music video playlist on my phone so then i can play through my apple tv... but when i make a playlist in itunes and try to add it over to my iphone it wont let me sync the playlist...? I have already added the music videos to my iphone so that is not the problem.... i cant seem to figure out how to make a playlist for them... IE: to make the videos play consecutively in the order i want without stopping after each video and gong back to the list.... this is what i have had to resort to make it work....what i want to do....is be able to make a playlist of videos on my iphone 5....take my apple tv to friends houses and with wifi....set up apple tv and play videos at the party and not have to stand by with the remote and find a new video to play stopping the music between the songs/videos....very annoying....and have spent over 4 hours one day and an hour and a half today on the phone today with a sr. advisor with apple and they have no clue.... this seems sooooo simple.... please somebody that really knows how to do this....i will be indebted forever...............

From what I know, MP3 Rocket is a program that will only work on a Windows computer. They don't make a version that will work on a Mac.
If you need to convert Youtube files to MP3, then you may want to try Smart Converter. It is available in the App Store for free. Just launch App Store, then look in the Top Charts section, under FREE, select "see all", and look for the the download shown below.
