Why does my download of iOS 8.1 upgrade for ipad keep timing out? tried it about 20 times.

When downloading, did you login to the Exchange?
Did you add it to My Widgets in the Widget Browser with the button in the bottom right hand corner of the widget browser?

Which version of DreamWeaver are you using?
Is your document whre you want to insert it the right doctype for it? Ought to be <!DOCTYPE HTML>
And, are you fully update to DraeamWever 11.0.3.4964?

Why does the sound on my new iPad keep dropping out

I have done some trouble shouting following a few threads but for some reason the sound on my new iPad keeps dropping out every min or so for afew seconds. Tried to reboot the router and also reset wifi settings on the iPad. I am also having problems connecting to wifi intermitant as this may be it is frustrating.
Is this a known issue and do apple have a fix?

Among the alternatives not mentioned... Using a TiVo DVR, rather than the X1; a Roamio Plus or Pro would solve both the concern over the quality of the DVR, as well as providing the MoCA bridge capability the poster so desperately wanted the X1 DVR to provide. (Although the TiVo's support only MoCA 1.1.) Just get a third-party MoCA adapter for the distant location. Why the hang-up on having a device provided by Comcast? This seems especially ironic given the opinions expressed regarding payments over time to Comcast. If a MoCA 2.0 bridge was the requirement, they don't exist outside providers. So couldn't the poster have simply requested a replacement XB3 from the local office and configured it down to only providing MoCA bridging -- and perhaps as a wireless access point? Comcast would bill him the monthly rate for the extra device, but such is the state of MoCA 2.0. Much of the OP sounds like frustration over devices providing capabilities the poster *thinks* they should have.

but Adobe is, in fact, continuing to update Flash for Android.
Only essential bug and security fixes. No new feature updates have been released for 2 years.
Of course we have those who wish fervently that the lack of Flash supprt will damage Apple severely and obsess about it all the time.

My ipad keeps timing out saying server timed out every time I search the web or try to check my email

Maybe your firewall is causing the issue. Security/antivirus software can cause problems as well. Try rebooting your router. Sometimes that is all that it takes to keep you conected to the internet.
Unplug the router from the power source for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in again. Restart your iPad as well. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Why does match download on iOS devices?

I'm thinking about using iTunes Match (I currently use Google music), but from here

On a computer, any songs stored in iCloud will stream over the air when played, though you can download them at any time by clicking the iCloud download button. iOS devices will start playing tracks from iCloud as they download and will store them so that you can listen to them later even if you don’t have a network connection. So why does it download and stream on a iOS device, eg my iPhone and not just stream, which is my preferred option? Is there no way to only enable streaming and then I'll download the songs if I want to? I have unlimited data so not bothered on the Gb used for streaming.
I understand that others may want a choice to download, but I want the choice to only steam, is this possible? I chose Google music as it only streams if you want it to. The reason I wouldn't mind iTunes Match is I have iMac, Apple TV, iPhones etc so would be nicely integrated.

The music app will manage the cache. As it gets full songs that have not been played recently will be deleted from the cache. Although you are also able to remove all music manually.

Yes, most ID3 tags are supported. At this time lyrics aren't, though.

Try disabling the computer's security software (antivirus and firewall) during the download and update.

Itunes won't download the IOS for ipad

Itunes never is able to download the newest iso for my ipad. It will download it for a min or two then say it has timed out, yet I can download a tv or movie with no problem.

Why does my email auto pull-down list keep fading out after one second (I can put my mouse on it and it comes back, so it is there, just again fades away after 1 second)?

When I go to send an email, many of may emails are saved so when I type in the first letter, a list appears in the auto pull down. However, when I go to click on the address I want, it immediately fades out. I will put my cursor on it and I will see the list again, but only for one second, then it fades away again.
So I have to guess which order they are in and click and hope it's the right one, ha!
I like the option, it just isn't working right for some reason.

That would indicate an issue with the local network, not internet. This can impact devices differently and will likely be more obvious on a streaming only device.
If you are on wifi try ethernet
Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - general - network)
Go to istumbler, netstumbler or similar to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise.

The same pictures in iPhone utilises half the storage space than in the iPad.

Photos on the ipad should take up little more space than It does on The iPhone because of the screen resolutions size.
Keep in mind If the photos are being stored on the device by Photo stream they will Take up less Space or if The photo Are being store by itunes syncing they may take up a little more.
