Why does my firefox ALWAYS crash, and nothing works to fix it?

I have a macbook, and was using firefox for an entire year with no problems at all. Out of nowhere a few months ago, it froze. Ever since then, it freezes my entire computer when I open firefox. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted every single trace of firefox on my computer, and it STILL freezes when I reinstall it. I have been trying to find an answer to this for months and no one can help me. There is nothing wrong with my computer at all. Every other browser works.

Why couldn't Adobe have added all the Reposse features to Illustrator instead of craming all these new features into Photoshop?

My guess would be because it has to create a whole bunch of polygons and your computer-set-up may be insufficient for the task.

Everytime I try to open Firefox, it crashed without opening. I've followed all steps in the FAQ and under the Firefox help section and NOTHING WORKS.

For the past 3-4 hours, I have been trying to se Firefox to open. It refuses to open and crashes each time. I've sent Crash Reports each time.
This all started when I updated and downloaded the lasted version.
I've scanned my computer for viruses, I've restarted my computer, I've uninstalled and installed firefox multiple times.

Why does my mac mini crash and reboot when I do a time machine backup to a USB Hard Disk?

This is the second time it has happened, the first was with a powered USB Hard Disk, this time with a WD Elements HD.
The first time, it crashed and popped up an alert saying the machine needed to be restarted.
After restarting it continued, then around half way through it crashed again.
It then would not boot as it said the Mac Mini's HD was corrupted.
Tried to repair using the recovery mode, with no joy.
Reformatted Hard Disk, went to recover using online recovery, got a 6002F error and it wouldn't reinstall
Took to apple service centre, they wanted to charge to reinstall the OS (put them straight on that ).
Now it looks like it's doing it again, this time after the first crash I'm just copying the files I need manually to the external Hard Disk, which so far is OK.
Seems these macs aren't so reliable.
Any ideas?

thanks for the tips, unfortunately when tryong to start the machine to do a Hardware test (to check RAM) I get the error 6002D so I'm guessing there's something more complicated afoot.
Unfortunatley the service centre here in Malaysia doesn't seem to have any "Geniuses" or indeed any "Comptencies" as it has only just come back from their after they had it for a week.
Makes me want to buy Dell, at least the come to you to fix.

Why does my iPod keep crashing and get stuck on the apple screen?

My iPod has crashed and gotten stuck on the apple screen multiple times now, I think three or four times. I take really good care of it and charge it alot. It's a generation 5 32 gig, but I have no idea how to fix it! I really want to save my pictures and contacts and whatnot so it is really annoying when it happens!!! Any help would be considered! Thankyou for any input!

I have recently installed a new graphics card the Asus HD 6450 silent, and I read that if it's your graphics card you should done grad to firefox 18.0.2 - so i tried that and it still crashed.
I have also reinstalled my flash player, and that didn't work either.
I don't know what else to do.

What is your current version of Firefox? Please try the following:
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

Why does my Photoshop CC crash and lose my actions?

At times, my PS crashes and when I reload it some of my actions are missing. I have them all on my laptop but its very aggravating to reload and place them where I want them. Is there some way I can save how I have them loaded? It also puts brushes back in that I've deleted.

pretty simple really...Photoshop stores the then current state of actions/brushes/presets (and a lot of other things) when you launch and then quite Photoshop normally. However, if you crash after launch, Photoshop goes back to the last saved state of the application...so, if you do a lot of work with actions, brushes or presets, it behooves you to then quite Photoshop normally (so those changes get saved) and then restart Photoshop. Then if you crash (and really, you shouldn't be crashing on a regualr basis) your relaunch of Photoshop will incorporate all those changes when launched.

When using facebook, Firefox locks up and nothing works except a hot shutdown on Windows Vista

About twice a week, usually, but not always, when using facebook, my screen locks up, no buttons or clicks on links work and I get a message in the Firefox title bar that says: "Firefox not responding". I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium on a Toshiba Satellite laptop and the only other window open is my email account on GoDaddy, but this happens even when that is not open. My hard drive LED begins glowing steady "on" when this occurs when usually it is flashing or not glowing at all. It frequently happens when changing facebook pages or trying to close facebook. Sometimes I get a "wait" hourglass, sometimes not. I have tried leaving the computer alone to let it sort out on it's own, and I have tried machine gun tapping on the "close" button. Either way the only resolution is a hot shutdown (hold down the computer power button until the computer shuts down) and wait a few minutes before reboot. On reboot, the same facebook page will open automatically and sometimes will lock up again when I try to close that window. On more rare occasions this lockup happens on sites other than facebook. My computer guru has looked at my setup and tells me my computer is fine and virus free. Since I'm a computer doof I don't know what he is talking about. Any ideas? Is there a difference between a "crash" and a "lockup" or do they mean the same thing?

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Corrupt pst file and nothing works to fix it...

running Vista and Outlook 2007.
i opened outlook a couple days ago and received the error msg that tells you that the .pst file is corrupt and you need to run inbox repair tool. when i clicked "ok" it just shuts down Outlook. I searched for the tool and could not find it even
with hidden files checked off. i stumbled across a 3rd party recovery tool and ran it b/c it was "free". That was a joke b/c they wanted $130 after recovering all my files and i'm not sure they actually recovered them. I then tried to find
the scanpst.exe file on my installation disks, but i did not find them. then i downloaded the scanpst.exe file online and tried to run it. I get an error messege immediately and it will not run. i have looked at hundreds of forums and posts
and nothing is working.
what else can i try?

Why does my Firefox always put a line at the top that says, "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page."?

This comes up nearly every time I click on a link to open another page... but the page does open; it's just that this line adds another unnecessary line at the top of my already shrinking window.
Can I keep this from happening? I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing has stopped it from occurring.

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

I have deleted unnecessary apps and cleaned up music and pics. Ad wells as games. So why are games crashing closed and other apps like Facebook closing unexpectedly.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause this. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.
How much Available space do you have? Check at Settings>General>About>Available

Why does my Itunes always crash when I go to the Itunes store?

During the past couple of months I have noticed that my Itunes crashes every single time I try to go to the Itunes store. I have tried fixing the utility disk thing, and I have completely unistalled and re-installed itunes with the new version. Is there something I'm missing??
