Why does my font get distored more so when I'm at G+, a month ago I had remove FF as my main browser and use chrome because it was so bad everywhere I went?

Now, that I have loaded it back up as my main browser it still does the same thing when I'm at G+ and my gmail account but, not yet with my yuku account which FF is highly recommended their.
The worst was when it was happening in my FF tool bar but, so far it has not but, has me paranoid that it will happen again like before since it's still happening @ G+ and Gmail.
Ooo when I tried to take a screen shot for you to see what I see it went away and went back to normal again.
Is it me or is there a bug in there that I am not knowing about or is it s little glitch?
P.S. My bf has been on FF forever and has never had this problem!

Sometimes fonts are distorted due to incompatibility with a particular graphics card driver. To check that theory, could you try disabling Firefox's use of hardware graphics acceleration?
You usually need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If you restart Firefox, is the issue resolved or improved?
Some users also miss ClearType anti-aliasing when they use Firefox, compared with IE, since IE has its own ClearType settings independent of Windows. I believe to have ClearType font smoothing in Firefox, you need to turn it on in your Windows display settings.

I would first reset the SMC:
Shut down and unplug the Mac.
Keep the Mac unplugged for at least fifteen seconds.
Plug the Mac back in and do not turn it back on for at least five seconds.
Press the power button to turn the Mac back on.
Then I would reset the PRAM by rebooting the iMac while simultaneously holding the Command-Option-P-R keys until the machine restarts a second time.
Let us know if these procedures don't solve the problems.

Why does "repair permissions" actually creates more repairs when again.

When I use Disk Utility repair permissions, I run it a second time and there were more instances than noted in the initial run. 13 the first time and 22 the second. To double check, I rebooted my MBP to make sure it wasn't an issue with a running program. The same thing happened, I got 13 instances the first time and when I hit it again, I got 22. I find it hard to believe that by running "repair", more instances are created.
Also, why are some things just not repaired?

Specifically, what "repair permissions" does is look at a bunch of files called "BOM files" or "Bill of Materials files", which is simply a list of what files where installed where and with what permissions. They are created by the Mac software package make that vendors use to build installation packages (if you've ever installed software that required you to run an installation program rather than just copy it to /Applications, that's what you have).
When you run "repair permissions", it compares the file's permissions with what's in the BOM. If they aren't the same, it changes the file's permissions to whatever the BOM says they originally were. The idea being that something might have altered the permissions on a file file making it impossible for you to access and thereby messing up anything that requires access to the file. In practice, that doesn't happen too often.
What does happen pretty often is that the software installer copies files and then changes permissions on them. Even the application may change permissions on the files. That's pretty common, and often necessary to the operation of a piece of software. So, despite doing a "repair permissions", some files and directories are going to simply defy having their permissions modified (particularly things like directories where log files are stored).

Why does a font change in my pdf when I print it to file?

A client created this magazine in InDesign and exported it to a pdf. I preflighted it and printed it using Adobe PDF for my printer and unchecked the "Rely on system fonts" button. The preflighter did not indicate that any fonts were unembedded, but the subhead on this page changed several characters anyway. The font is Kalinga, which is a freebie font, but shouldn't the preflighter have indicated if there was a problem? Also, the font was used elsewhere in the magazine, but this is the only page that had the error.

Why does apple sell phones with "INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY" when they cant service the phone in India, which has been bought outside India ? Whats the use of their registered service centers ?

i got my iphone 5 as a gift from my friend when he went on a business tour to Dubai. i have a got problem with the native camera app and i contacted the customer care more then 3-5 times and they finally gave me a solution to check with the service centers avialble in my city. i went all the way there from my place and they said you cant service your phone over here since its has been bought outisde India ! then why do APPLE ship phones ? why do they have REGISTERED SERVICE CENTRES in India ? why do they sell apple products with the tag INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY ?

There is a problem insofar as you did not buy the phone.   Any warranty would therefore apply to the buyer.   What I would suggest is this ...
With the receipt in your hand, telephone the store where it was purchased. Explain the situation and ask them how you should proceed.    You may find they'll only deal with your friend but if he/she is willing, it can still be pursued in your friend's name.
Once you have agreed a way of getting it serviced you will need to return the phone, and as I suggested, by a registered post system that requires proof of delivery. Most postal services do this.
Pack the phone, preferably in its original box and surround it with extra packing. You do not want anyone to have grounds to say it was further damaged in transit.
Include a dated letter stating what the fault is and affix to that a copy of the receipt.

Why does my phone get hot at time's?

It doesn't happen every day, put there are times my phone gets hot even when I'm not using it then the battery drains fast and I have to charge it again. It's not the battery area that gets hot.

There is no damage to my phone. This is the second Samsung Galaxy S5 that I have received. The first one did the same thing, then went dead.  I only charge my phone at night when I go to bed and unplug it in the morning. When it does get hot, for some unknown reason, I have to charge it again during the day just to have cell phone access. It doesn't happen on a daily basis. It's just concerning as to why the Samsung Galaxy S5 is doing this.  Teffanie M Stark

There is no damage to my phone. This is the second Samsung Galaxy S5 that I have received. The first one did the same thing, then went dead.  I only charge my phone at night when I go to bed and unplug it in the morning. When it does get hot, for some unknown reason, I have to charge it again during the day just to have cell phone access. Depends on what you're doing. Processor intensive things generate more heat, such as graphics intensive games or videos.
Warm is normal, hot is not. If it's too hot to handle (literally) you need to make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Why does my exported .swf show more content than actually on frame?
My problem is relatively simple, though, I had some trouble finding a solution to it:
When I play my exported animation using flash player in Google Chrome, if the window is bigger than the resolution flash document/frame, it shows content not meant to show up on the frame -- like parts of a huge background that aren't supposed to show up yet.
In other words, how do I constraint the .swf to the white background/document resolution?

Anyone? I'd appreciate it if someone replied soon -- I am done with my project once this issue is resolved, and I am excited to publish it.

I recently had to reinstall my software for a
dell computer a dell latitude d 830, then after installing all of my software and such including itunes the player did well even record to disks with no problems now that my system has done alot of updating of system files....now the itunes does not burn to my cd...error message 2131 this time
The 2131 usually indicates firmware needs to be updated on a drive.
Head to your drivers and downloads page for your latitude at Dell, and check for updates to your firmware for your optical drives. If you're behind and you update, does that clear up the 2131?

My friend and I both work in a hospital and we go in out of signal continuously through out the day. Our problem is so bad that by mid afternoon our phone batteries are down to 20% as the phone is continuously searching for signal. If that's the only place you used that unique font, yes. Convert the textbox to an image file by applying a drop shadow to the font and setting the opacity of the drop shadow to 5%.
