Why does my InDesign keep crashing on mac OS X 10.8.2

Question

My InDesign keeps on freezing and stops responding I then force quit the application and upon opening it again I get th error saying a serious error has occured with the only option to return to finder. Then if i want for about 5 - 10 mins InDesign works fine again. Am I getting this error because I am forcing it to close which is causing this error upon reboot of InDesign?

Clean installation of Adobe InDesign is required here or try creating a new administrator user account and then launch Adobe InDesign and see if it eradicates the crash. See this link for creating a new user account on Mac. http://support.apple.com/kb/ph6651. The new user account type should be Administrator.
