Why does my iPad 3rd Generation continually say Searching in upper left corner?
1. iTunes 11 is for your computer, not for the iPad. You don't need to download iTunes for the iPad, it is already on the device.
2. When you switched ID's on the iPad and then downloaded any past purchase, you associated the iPad with that ID and locked yourself out of your own ID for 90 days. You cannot change this now. You have to wait until the 90 days are up before you can switch to your ID again.
3. AirPlay is a feature on the iPad that is only visible when you are using AirPlay compatible device with the iPad. When you double tap the home screen to get to the recents tray at the bottom of the screen, the AirPlay icon would be visible in there.

It could be that the battery charge indicator is showing 100 percent when you actually have almost no charge left. In case that is the problem, leave your iPad connected to its wall charger overnight, and see if that helps.
One other thing to try, is to reset (reboot) your iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes solves mysterious problems.

Why does my iPad (3rd Gen.) keep turning itself on and off?
I currently have my 3rd generation iPad plugged into the wall charger. It has been plugged in since yesterday morning and is still going through the same routine: on, off, on, off...HELP! I have tried to reset it, but it won't respond; the screen just keeps going black (with Apple logo) as soon as it turns on enough to get to the lock screen. Also, it will immediately become unresponsive when I unplug it from the charger.
I would think that you either have a charger problem or a something inside your iPad (battery, perhaps). I suggest you take it in for diagnosis.

I have a wifi only 32 gb ipad 3rd gen. I'm just wondering how long your ipad lasts until it reaches its 20% point or 10% or 0% point (in hours and minutes). If you can, I also want to know how you use the ipad, and how high your brightness level usually is. and about how many days you use it for until you have to charge it again (this is seperate to the how many hours it has). The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

I was eating breakfast one morning playing a game on my iPod and it slipped out of my hand and into my cereal bowl. So immediately I took off the case and put in a bag of rice for a day and a half to let it dry out. Then when it started working again (thankfully) a notification popped up saying charging is not supported with this accessory after I unplugged it from the wall. So I thought nothing of it and pressed dismiss. Now when ever I wake it up, instead of my wallpaper popping up in the lock screen that stupid notification does. How can I get rid of it? Also my home button doesn't work anymore so I have to use asisstive touch instead. How do I take a screen shot without the assisting touch menu in the way? Thank you.

I have never had an issue until recently that won't allow me to go onto the App Store or iTunes on my iPod touch 4th gen. It says the certificate for this server is invalid. Then it says, you might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be iTunes.apple.com which could put your confidential information at risk. How can I fix this so I can access iTunes and the App Store from my iPod again?
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

This is getting incredibly annoying. I've had this thing for 3 months and I can't use it for more than 5 mins at a time because the touchscreen stops responding!!! I tried restoring it to its factory defaults and it still keeps messing up.
Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
If that doesn't work, then update iTunes on computer, backup device to iTunes, then restore the device.

Why am I told to turn off airplay on my iPad (3rd generation) when it does not even HAVE airplay according to iOS7 specs?
I have the same problem with my device specially with the NFL App and after maybe 2hrs of research I found out that Verizon has implemented that messege/restriction to keep the app "TRUE" mobile only. What I'm saying is that you won't get the NFL App to play no matter what you do if connected to HDMI adapter or AirPlay. I hope this helps more than the other/previous post. Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not show anything? The screen is all black constantly. When I try to synchronise my ipod with my iTunes library it comes up with a message saying " iTunes could not back up the ipod because a session could not be started with the ipod.
