Why does my iPad drop from my Safari session?

Since I upgraded my iPad to version 5.0.1 my Safari session drops in the middle of whatever I'm doing. Anyone else having this problem?

Tap Settings > Safari
Tap Clear History
Then tap Clear Cookiees and Data
Restart your iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If that helped, clear all the data more often to avoid problems. Not much different then emptying a browser cache on a computer.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again
2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
3. Reset iPad; hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo

Why does the iPhone drop from iTunes during Wireless Sync?

Alright, so in my bedroom I have full wifi bars, occasionally when I move to the far corner I drop one single bar on the wifi but other than that, I never have a problem. Until I try to wireless sync. Then the iPhone 4 switches back to 3G for less than a second and then goes back to wireless again (still pleanty of bars on wifi). Of course, this is just enough to stop the phone from syncing wirelessly with iTunes.
I have done speed testing and local network ping testing and all that kind of thing, there is no reason for the iPhone to drop the wifi connection. I can stream netflix or hulu at maximum quality over my local wifi. Using iSSH I can VNC into the Mac without problem and using Filez I can SFTP to the mac or use AFP and transfer files without issue. I even transferred 2 Gigs worth of files from my living room to the bedroom over the local wifi with consistant good speed.
What gives? Is this some kind of strange design flaw or what?
This ONLY happens while trying to wirelessly sync with iTunes. And after, I cannot try to sync again until I reboot my phone and restart itunes.

Have you gone to the video tab (in itunes) and selected sync movies and selected the movie that you want synced?

I've been having the same trouble with my ATV and itunes homesharing. The connection fails after a short time and I have to restart the homesharing in itunes to get it to work again.

It worked for me. I took a picture with the iPhone's camera. Then opened the Photos app and selected the picture, and emailed it from one of my IMAP accounts to my gmail (also IMAP) account. When it showed up in the gmail inbox (on my iPhone), I forwarded it to my yahoo mail account (choosing the "inlcude attachments" option). When that showed up on my iPhone's yahoo inbox, the picture was there just as it should be.
So I guess the next thing would be to try it with non-iPhone pictures to see if it is a problem with image size or something. I have some 6-megapixel images in iPhoto I can try (taken as RAW/DEC format pictures with my dSLR).
Just tried it sending a Photo from my computer's iPhoto library - picture is 728KB, 2272x1704 jpeg. I emailed it to my gmail account, and it showed up on the iPhone just fine. Then I forwarded that to my yahoo account and again, it showed up just fine on both the iPhone and reading my yahoo mail via the web page.
Don't know what to say - I don't mean this to be just another "works for me" post. I was hoping to see something maybe depending on the size and origin of the picture.
By the way, my 3GS shipped with 3.0.1 on it, and I've updated it via iTunes normally to 3.1.1 and currently 3.1.2. Sorry I don't have anything constructive to add.

The most recent version of Pages that you can run on the iPad 1, running iOS 5.1.1, is not compaible with the newest version of pages on the Mac.
If you had the old version of Pages on your Mac, and off hand I can't remember what version it was, you should still be able to use that version and then it will be compatible with the Pages app on the iPad. I updated to the newest version of Pages some time back but was able to keep the older version as well.

It might be out of memory. Close all apps you're not using using the toolbar that comes up when you double click on the home button. Press and hold any icon and then tap on the red minus (-) symbol of the apps you're not using.

Because NOTHING that is iOS supports Flash. Never has never will.
The only possible option is to try the Skyfire browser from the App store. It is an internet browser that converts flash to HTML 5 so that you can attempt to view it on iOS devices.
I have never tried it so I can tell you if it is any good, but it has gotten decent reviews.

For example, I can connect to wifi and use Safari and my iPad's interet capabilities with no problem. But if I then leave my iPad alone for an hour - when I go back to using it, it still shows as being connected to the wifi, but is unresponsive - i.e. web pages will not load etc. - I have to disconnect and reconnect to the wifi to make it responsive.

Some things to try first:

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I think (from the other forum you posted to previously) that you are asking how to send email to a group in your address book, or other group of email addresses? You will need a third party app to do this, a number of which are available from the App Store.

Check to see what is enabled by default in Start New Conversations From in Settings > FaceTime and Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. You also could have had some start a conversation under your email as the Apple ID and so the conversation could be based on that.

The kit is firmly inserted in thhe iPad's dock ? You could also try a reset and see if it's recognised after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
I haven't had problems using the kit with SD cards from Canon cameras . What capacity is the card, and it's an SD or SDHC card - if it's an SDXC card that's formatted as ExFAT then it won't be recognised
