Why does my ipad2 disconnect from my wifi?
When I go into the room where the router is I can connect. But when I walk into another room it disconnects. My brother's ipad2 can connect anywhere on the house? I just receive my iPad Monday. Should I send back to apple?

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Why does my iPad2 not display the WiFi icon? I have implemented ALL of the troubleshooting tips, but my WiFi icon is still missing, and it will NOT recognize the internet connection that I know to work on my computer and iPhone.

2. Reboot the router
3. Reboot the iPad

I'm currently on OS 10.8 but this problem started happening a while after I started using the new OS. It actually started when I moved into a new house. Every time my computer goes to sleep it disconnects from the wifi singnal and so everytime I come back onto the computer I have to choose which wifi network I want to use. I've tried using different routers and now actually use a new Airport Express but the problem persists.
I think I had this problem many years ago and an apple employee just clicked some network setting and it never happened again when I brought the Mini back home. Does anyone have any ideas about this?

When I first got my phone it worked perfectly fine with the wifi. Although later on I began to have problems connecting it. It will randomly disconnect from the wifi and when I try to retype the password it tells me it is wrong, although it is right. It will eventually work but in its own time, a message will pop up and allow me to type in the password and it will work. But sometimes it takes an hour or more and sometime it takes 10 minutes. I'm almost certain my phone is the problem. I have gone through resetting the network settings a dozen times on my phone, even did it on my dad's. Now my texts are beginning to do the same when I text my fiance.
Resetting the network settings DOES work -- the problem is it will work for a day or two or for only a few hours - then I'll have to do it all over again. -
Why does an email sent from an iPad or iPhone to ms outlook appear with attachments? Example: signatures at the bottom of the mail tend to be broken down into a series of unwanted attachments!
It worked for me. I took a picture with the iPhone's camera. Then opened the Photos app and selected the picture, and emailed it from one of my IMAP accounts to my gmail (also IMAP) account. When it showed up in the gmail inbox (on my iPhone), I forwarded it to my yahoo mail account (choosing the "inlcude attachments" option). When that showed up on my iPhone's yahoo inbox, the picture was there just as it should be.
So I guess the next thing would be to try it with non-iPhone pictures to see if it is a problem with image size or something. I have some 6-megapixel images in iPhoto I can try (taken as RAW/DEC format pictures with my dSLR).
Just tried it sending a Photo from my computer's iPhoto library - picture is 728KB, 2272x1704 jpeg. I emailed it to my gmail account, and it showed up on the iPhone just fine. Then I forwarded that to my yahoo account and again, it showed up just fine on both the iPhone and reading my yahoo mail via the web page.
Don't know what to say - I don't mean this to be just another "works for me" post. I was hoping to see something maybe depending on the size and origin of the picture.
By the way, my 3GS shipped with 3.0.1 on it, and I've updated it via iTunes normally to 3.1.1 and currently 3.1.2. Sorry I don't have anything constructive to add.
