Why Does my iPhone 4S Buzz / Ding by Itself?
My phone has started to buzz or ding (depending if I have the sound turned on or off)? It's sounds like I would have a push notification of some sort appear on my screen, but nothing appears. I can't see how the two are related, but it began when I turned off iMessaging. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

My friend recently gifted me a brand new iPhone 4s bought in the the US. I live in India though. My phone keeps shutting off by itself even when there is full battery. And, it comes back on only with a hard reset. Why does this happen?

I didn't notice it at first but when I go to use my iPhone 4S it was off, without me shutting it off or anything. This is the first time it's happened to me and I'd like to know why it shuts off by itself.

It turns off randomly and sometimes when I try to turn it back on, it doesn't turn on right away. Sometimes it would take multiple tries before it actually turns back on. I have read many posts regarding this and there seems to be no solution. The bad thing about this also is that I don't have a warranty either.
Because there is a hardware problem.
Apple has an out of warranty or not covered under the warranty "repair" price which pays for an exchange at a discounted price off the full retail sales price, or if you qualify for upgrade pricing with your carrier you can purchase a 4S or iPhone 5 for about the same or not much more depending on storage capacity. -
OK, so I'm clearly a newb. I thought if I asked a question, it would post, and now I'm being told to post a comment, so I'm asking the same question again. Sorry I sound like an idiot. I'm new to this apple/mac stuff.
Why does iTunes/iPhone 4S insist it can't find a song on my PC or my phone when it is on both? This is resulting in me being unable to use the ringtones I created from these songs, but I can still play the songs.If you have added the ringtone file correctly to iTunes, it will appear under iTunes 'Tones' library.
If you don't find Tones library in iTunes, go to iTunes menu EDIT/PRFERENCES under GENERAL tab, check the Tones Box under Library source to display Tones library in iTunes.
iTunes accepts only m4r file as ringtone and has to be less than 40secs. -

I saved a bunch of animated .GIF files on my iPhone.
When I imported them onto my computer, they were all single framed .JPG files.
Why does the iPhone convert the images, and is there any way to prevent this?

Why does my iphone 3gs screen go white after it goes "to sleep" for the first time after turning it on?
The screen isn't broken because it works after i turn the device off and back on, but after it goes black once, it's only white again.
But it takes the touches although it's only white, because I can answer my phone when I slide my finger on the bottom of the screen, eventhough there in not the button to see.

My wife's iPhone is the same vintage as mine 3Gs, but has never had the battery problem. Its affliction instead is that it cannot detect WiFi networks unless it is quite close to the source. Often, when my iPhone not only detects but shows a maximum cells connection with a network, hers cannot detect the network at all. In contrast, her iPhone seems to detect ourcellular carrier just as well as mine does.
Is there any help for this affliction? -
Why does my iPhone 5 take very grainy flash photographs in the dark will a hard reboot be safe to do to try to fix or is it a hardware issue?
And By hard boot I mean holding the home and power button down at the same time for 10 seconds or whatever
I see other people have these grainy flash photographs if you try to take a picture in darkness the picture comes out very dark and grainy I thought the software would ultimately fix this but it's been going on for over a year I usually take my photographs in daylight but I need this to be fixed

Thank youThe flash on a smartphone camera is tiny. It only lights up a very small area right in front of the camera. It won't light up the whole scene.
Have you seen the size of the flash on a professional camera? Even they can't light a whole scene in the dark.
Fact is, a smartphone camera is not capable of taking good photos in the dark, even with the flash.
You'll need to buy and learn how to use a professional, dedicated SLR camera to be able to take good photos in the dark. It is not easy. -

Blackberries were designed at a time when cellular data was very expensive. They don't do nearly as much as an iPhone, in part, to conserve data use. All modern smartphones will use more data than a Blackberry unless you do almost nothing.
You do not need to quite apps. Almost no apps run in the background.

That sounds like attention seeking behaviour.
Step over it and ignore the antics.
When it behaves in the fashion you expect it is OK to pick it up and follow the normal nurturing you use.
If you do respond to it you will soon find yourself planning a zip line from your upstairs bedroom to the kitchen, coupled with a refusal to get in your pocket when you are ready to leave the house.

This helped me. Fix #1 is something Apple doesn't ever suggest to you.
My specific problem was somehow my Apple Mobile Device USB Driver got turned off and moved and maybe even uninstalled, but after hours of struggling, this site helped tremendously.
Furthermore, I could connect my iPhone to my computer but not into iTunes. It would only let me go to access pictures on my iPhone and that's all.
Best of luck to anyone trying to figure out their problem.
