Why does my iphone 5s keep freezing and restarting?

my phone would freeze from time to time and then stay frozen for about 10 minutes then it decides to restart/reboot and its starting to get on my nerves, someone please help or tell me whats wrong and can i get it replaced? ive only had my phone for about a month.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Can you tell us how much RAM (Memory) you have? It's listed by clicking on the  in your title bar....go to About This Mac and it's in the 1st window.
We would also like to know what size hard drive you have and how much free space is on it.
If you click on your Hard drive icon (should be upper right hand corner of your screen), or the Finder in your Dock...when the window opens it says at the bottom how much Free Space you have on your drive.
If you go to the , click on About This Mac, click on More Info... in that window. The next window says how big your hard drive is under Hardware....click on Serial-ATA.....look under Capacity:
We need to know this cause if a hard drive is too full it slows things down and creates operational difficulties.

I just got a used Iphone, and it keeps freezing every time I try to do anything. Every time I click on an app it will open for a second and then close right back out. It will randomly restart, and some times it will just freeze and the only way I can get it to turn off is to hold the home and power button. I have done factory restarts. I restarted the phone as a new iphone and still does the same thing. I havent downloaded any apps from the app store and have just left it completly stock and it still has the same issues. Any ideas?

If you already try to restore via iTunes I think it is an hardware problem.

Sounds like hardware failure, called boot loop. Call Apple and or go on apple.com and make Genius Bar appointment to have your iphone reviewed by a Tech. Provided you iphone shows no physical or liquid damage they will take care of you, or if you have Apple Care Plus

Ever since I bought my new iPhone 5S (on Vodafone) about a month ago either the screen or the buttons freeze on an almost daily basis. If I manually restart it (home button and sleep/wake) it works, but is a relative pain having to authenticate Touch-ID all the time. It is just an annoying problem, with no other side effects. I have monitored the times when it freezes and it is on no one particular app, its crashed when i am using Photos, Phone, Messages, Instagram and various Games.

Try to set up the phone as new device and to rule out a software error, don't use the backup after that.
If the phone works without problems, restore from the backup. If the problems are coming back, set it up again as new, this time adding the 3rd party apps back one after the other, one of them must be causing the freezes.

Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If still a problem restore from your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.
