My iphone does not ring but goes directly into voicemail. Please help!

Have you turned on "Do Not Disturb"?
Check Settings > Do Not Disturb and make sure it is "Off".

My iphone seems to log me into Facebook and hotmail while sitting idle at home unless I turn it off. I don't want it to do that. Others use my home computer and it bugs me that I turn on my imac to find me logged into FB and HM. Anyone?

Understood. Every single time I leave my imac I click safari drop down menu to "Reset Safari" which clears all passwords, history etc.... I know for a fact that my iphone logs me back in becasue I have tested it over and over again. If I turn off the power to my iphone and get back onto my imac None of my log in or email is ever open. I have to enter name and password.
IF,,,,, I have my iphone on and my computer is even in sleep mode or on doesn't matter... If, I go into email via iphone or check my facbook on iphone later once back at my imac my hotmail is open and so is my facebook. I usually do not even have my wifi turned on in my iphone either. I swear, I have tested it repeatedly since march when I got my first verizon iphone.
So, am I the only one who has ever had this happen?

I would guess it is that you do not have enough space. For what, I have no idea, as you have done little to explain your issue.

That was made available in iOS 5. To update, you may need to connect to iTunes

You may need to take it up with your carrier. Over here, I did and only until then did it work correctly.

This helped me. Fix #1 is something Apple doesn't ever suggest to you.
My specific problem was somehow my Apple Mobile Device USB Driver got turned off and moved and maybe even uninstalled, but after hours of struggling, this site helped tremendously.
Furthermore, I could connect my iPhone to my computer but not into iTunes. It would only let me go to access pictures on my iPhone and that's all.

Everytime I go to update my apps some other persons email or AppleID comes up and I have to cancel. its annoying enough to have to update all the time but now I have about100 update notifications (don't judge, you probably have a ton of apps too..haha) that are sitting idol, what's up how do I fix?

I'm sorry Allan, I should have clarified, your answer is improbable (well the first part atleast).
The apps I have had since the first week of purchase of my iphone back in 2011, I have not added any apps until 2 months before the last software update. This starting happening when the new software was implemented but I have not updated to iOS6 yet. Unless this person was able to hack into my account & transfer them to their account, I do not see how that is possible.
Prior to seeing this other AppleID, I have a popup to prompt me for my AppleID each time I download content. Each time I would see mine and enter my password.

Battery life is dependent on what you are using the phone for. First time users and users that have just gotten their phones tend to do a great deal with them. Extensive use of the Internet and other processor intensive tasks can drain the battery quickly. Also being located in a poor cellular coverage area can force the phone into constantly searching for a 3G signal and will drain battery as well. Check the Apple website for a link on battery suggestions or search here for other suggestions on how to minimize battery drainage.

Thank you Lawrence. I forgot I used to run a Logitech webcam several years ago and I hadn't uninstalled program when I changed the camera to a different one. I uninstalled the camera and it now seems to accept my phone with pictures onto my computer without shutting my computer down. I really appreciate your help with this problem.

I had the same issue in my 2012 Nissan Altima. It was a function in my car's stero settings. I had to go to the car's iPhone/iPod settings when the iPhone was plugged into the USB. My settings come up automatically when I plug in and I can scroll through the commands to "Shuffle" songs. Hope this helps.

Yes, I know you can import videos into the Finder using Image Capture. And you can import them into iPhoto and THEN into iMovie. But how come you can't go directly from your iPhone 3GS into iMovie '09?

You right about the iPhone 3Gs work-flow:
_ Connect your iPhone 3Gs to your Mac
_ Launch iPhoto
_ Import the iPhone 3Gs videos using iPhoto
_ Launch iMovie
_ iMovie automatically detects the videos from iPhoto & requests if you want to Generate Thumbnails
_ Then go to the iMovie > Event Library > iPhoto Videos

Formatting mostly but is more down to the misalignment of terminology Mb/Gb and MB/GB
64Gb roughly 59.6GB
64 x (1000/1024)x(1000/1024)x(1000/1024)
So 4Gb is around 3.72GB
250Gb is about 232GB
1Tb is roughly 931GB
or something like that
But the formatting will be proportional to size too as it kind of stores directions to where the data is
AND of course because of the iOS (operational system that the device has installed on it)

I usually go to bed after my wife. I have the Do Not Disturb set for 11 pm to 7 am, and I can see the moon symbol.
So why when I go to bed at midnight and plug in my iPhone to recharge do I get a LOUD BEEP?
My wife is banning my phone from being next to my bed and an alarm clock.
To me it seems that the "Do Not Disturb" should turn this beep into a vibrate.

If I am reading what you are saying correctly, you are saying that when vibrate is 'off', and you turn on the phone and plug it in that a vibration occurs, and that it is not respecting the vibrate 'off'.
That would be a slightly different issue from what I am asking about (Do Not Disturb), and would probably need a separate bug report.

In my case, after upgrading to iOS 5 I had no music or video. But plugged into iTunes I could see 5gb of 'other'
When I clicked on Music in the device I could see all my music listed. I clicked on a track and pressed play and it worked. Then looked at the phone and it had all been miraculously restored (although I am having to reinstall most of it because the artwork in most cases won't show.
It was the same with the apps. Until I downloaded a new app, none of my existing ones would work. What a wonderful experience this iPhone upgrading is turning out to be!!!
