Why does my iphone restart every time I try moving an app across the screen

Since updating to the iOS6 last night, any time I hold an app down to make it wiggle, to move it to another screen-- it lets me do so, then when I press the home button to make them stop wiggling --- it simple restarts the iPhone and when it comes back on, it's exactly how it was BEFORE I moved anything. Holding down the top button and home button at the same time, also no longer gives me the option to turn off/restart my phone. What is going on.

This may sound stupid, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Is it possible, that if I have enough junk on my desktop it might disrupt the signal? It seems odd, but it kind of looks like my signal is strong and relatively steady now that I've cleaned my desktop. I do tend to get very cluttered. I use a lot of reference images and save text clippings to use later... it just piles up very quickly.
So, I wonder if all that extra effort my system has to do keeping up with the junk might have something to do with the drop outs?

I'm not sure why the device is like that, but if your iPad is freezing cold, don't try to do anything with it until it warms up to room temperature. Once it warms up, if you still see the blue screen and it goes back to black when you try to start it up, try this.

Why does my computer restart every time I plug in my ipod?

I got my ipod touch a few weeks ago, and for the last two weeks, every time I plug it in, my computer restarts. It continues to restart every time it reaches the XP loading bit (where the bars travel across the screen, I don't know the technical name). I put the computer into safe mode and it doesn't restart, but my ipod isnt recognised on itunes so I can't sync it.
Does anyone have this problem, or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I've got a first gen. Ipod touch and I had a problem with my computer and had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall windows! since then when I plug in my touch it restarts my computer.
I'm looking on the forum for a solution before I try anything but to me it looks like we have a similar problem.
The only things different on my system since the last time it worked properly are I updated/reinstalled itunes yesterday and I installed NORTON 360 about a week ago so I think it must have something to do with them!
what browser do you use? I'm using firefox.

Everything is up to date! Why does my iTunes crash every time I try adding files to my library?

Every time I try adding music to my library, my iTunes freezes (pinwheel)! Everything is up to date and my laptop is fairly new! Any suggestions? Is it because of maverick and the latest iTunes update?

Every time I try to use my camera, the screen goes black.

Every time I try to use the camera on my 4S, the screen goes black and goes back to my home screen. Also, my call waiting does not show who is calling in when i am already on the phone with a caller. This just stared in the last couple of weeks. I'm very frustrated. I wonder what else isn't working that I haven't come upon yet.

Why does my iPhone need every time to be hard-reset after charging?

Every time I fully charge my iPhone 6 Plus it turns off and doesn't want to turn on normally: I have to reset it every time by pressing the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button for a couple of seconds.
Also, sometimes after leaving it in sleep mode, when I wake the iPhone I find it having restarted alone without me doing anything: it asks me to type again the PIN number of my SIM card, as if it had just been turned on.
What can I do?

I think you need to talk to App tech. If you were sent a forced upgrade, it forces the phone to reboot when it hits 100% charge. Problem is after update and/or restore, it continues to do the reboot after you hit 100% battery capacity.
I have 6 phones that do the same. The tech guys don't believe me or they do not want to admit they have a problem with the forced update.
It left me stranded without my phone and the data in it while I was away. Bought a android phone for a back-up but may keep it as a main.
It seems if you want to carry your phone now-a-days, you better carry a laptop with iTunes in case there is a issue.
This whole thing is getting out-of-control as I spend more time servicing my phone than it spends servicing me. Which was the reason for not connecting to iTunes and updating it and then my phone every other month. So what do I get, forced update and inoperable phones.
If you can get it connected and set again, don't let it charge to 100% again and it will be fine. Otherwise see apple.
Who owns these phones anyway? It certainly is not me.

Why does my iphone crash each time I start a new app?

A couple of weeks ago, my iPhone (4S, newest iOS), started crashing I'd say once every four times I try to open an app. I'll open the app and within a second- the screen goes black, the white wheel comes up and it goes back to the lock screen.
I've tried powering off and restarting, but still doing it.
Any idea of what I should try next?

Why Does iTunes 6 crash every time I try to open it????

I'm ready to tear my hair out. This is NOT what I want to be doing at 11:43PM. It all started because I wanted to download the song "Wild Thing" the other night. I got a message indicating to download it I have to upgrade to iTunes 6. Given that it's a free upgrade, why not. After a couple of days of assorted problems doing the installation, finally got that right (or so it seemed).
However, every time I click to open iTunes, it immediately crashes. When I click to report the crash to Microsoft and follow the link, I get this message (my narrative continues after the Microsoft info below).

Go back to a version of iTunes that worked for you. When I upgraded to 6.0.2, I crashed every time I plugged an iPod in. I went back to 6.0.1, and everything works fine now. Make sure you completely uninstall your current "upgrade" of iTunes, then go to http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes/
to get a prior version of iTunes for installation.
Please respond if this works. Seems like problems after the 6.0.2 release of iTunes for Windows have been rampant. Like you, I assumed that every upgrade of iTunes was automatically an improvement. Not so, at least for me and a lot of other users.

Why does my signal drop every time I try to use an application.

I've got a UFO style 802.11g, which I unfortunately kept up to date with the updates.
For well over a year now I've had my gear set up like this, airport in the den, my wife's older Imac in the den with it, the printer in the den as well and my Imac across the house. Now, everything in the den connects like cake. Always up, always a great signal.
My Imac across the house has always had it's ups and downs, we've got a stone fireplace and out kitchen in between. Basically, it's 3 rooms away. A whole bunch of walls and corners for the signal to bounce off of. So, I know, not an ideal set up. But it's worked ok for a good long time.
So, a few months ago I performed the recommended update. It said that it would increase connection quality. So I thought, hey, this might help me out! At first glance my connection seemed great! I never lost a bar, not while I was looking anyway. Then I started noticing that occasionally I switch a webpage or some such and it would tell me that I wasn't connected to the internet. What? I look up and I've got all the bars, so I try again and get through... then I notice the bars just flat out go dead. Now I can't connect again. Odd.
Ok, so I start paying attention and it just drops out at random... now, the signal used to fluctuate up and down fairly regularly before the update. I'd researched the problem and found out all the things that can interrupt my signal, and basically I've got em all in between my Airport and my Imac. I could live with that, because it would slow down, but it stayed connected for the most part. This was something new.
Ok, back to the problem at hand. Now I see the signal is either all bars or none. No 2 bars, no 3 bars. Here or gone. And while I'm paying attention, I notice that practically every time I click on something, from my mail app to a preview image the signal drops to nothing. Seemed a coincidence at first, but know I'm certain that it isn't.
So, random complete signal loss and complete signal loss when I use and app. Really not pleased.
Ok, so I figured maybe there's a fix on the way, but I've heard nothing of it. I installed the most recent update, absolutely no effect. Oh, and this one too was supposed to provide better connectivity. Where? I'm not seeing it! Everything in the den works just as well as it ever has. That's one of the things I've loved about Mac for more than 10 years. Easy to use and reliable. But this, this is just a big old pain.
I've tried to extend the network unsuccessfully with the Express. I've got another option to try with that, so my fingers are crossed. But I just don't get why my network is now worse than when I set it up when the only change that's been made have been the updates that I installed at Apple's insistence that my signal would actually be better.
Sorry for being so long winded, and for anyone who made it this far... is there anything that I can do? I really do prefer to have my office in the room that it's in, but it doesn't help me at all when I have to move my Imac to use it online.

Why does my LifeDrive crash every time I try to connect to WiFi?!? HELP!

I have no idea how to fix this issue. My palm LifeDrive automatically reboots every freakin' time I try to connect to WiFi and there seems to be nothing I can do to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas, besides throw the unit out the window. I'm desperate.

Three days ago mine started the same thing! It had been fine for a very long time. I have not made any software changes for a long time. What is the deal? I have been searching and found no real resolution. I thought I saw one place saying something along the lines of reformatting the entire drive and reinstalling the PalmOS. Is that even possible?

Why does my finder restart each time i try to open a folder ?

Since today, everytime I click on a folder or try using the Finder, the color wheel appears, takes a few seconds, then relaunches the finder. However, I can't access any of my files through Finder. I can access them using any program, but not with the Finder.
I have tried creating a dummy account, but it has the same problem. I have tried opening folders using the Terminal command open but the Finder crashes again. I have also tried resetting my Finder preferences but without success.
Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

are you able to run a disk verify ? if so, dose it report any errors?
Another option might be open the console; and see if any error message pops up when the finder crashes.
