Why does my iphone4 send pictures as png not jpeg?
Have looked to change setting , but cannot find no option. E-mail picture through hotmail and gmail from camera program on iphone4, they show up as PNG and not a JPEG attachment, anyone help?
My best guess is that using .png is easier to send (uses less data/smaller file size) than .jpeg.

When an app is downloaded to your phone what is downloading is an installer. Once the installer downloads in installs the app and then is deleted. You can see a reference to this if you watch the App's icon in the App Store after you tap on download. It will first say downloading then that will change to installing. The amount of free space on your phone must be enough to accommodate the installer and the app plus have some left over for system work. You're just too close to the minimum for everything to work.

imessage has a new setting that shows all emails associated with your apple id. There are two sections, send and receive. Since you are using the same apple id, Im sure if you adjust one of those settings to your mobile number instead of your appleid, it wont send double.
You might also have to adjust your wifes settings too, so those emails dont overlap -

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:

If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:

It's not clear what you mean by "open new pictures".
You can open existing pictures, in which case Photoshop reads and displays the image file's original resolution (in ppi).
Or you can start a new image by choosing File > New... in which case Photoshop will populate the fields of the New dialog with dimensions and resolution most recently entered, OR with the dimensions and resolution of image data on the OS clipboard. -
