hello, today i bought a new ipod nano 7g (i'm in germany). i have the latest itunes installed but my computer windows 8.1 does not recognize the ipod as an ipod. and itunes does not accept the ipod. please help me. thx

Why does animated .gif not work with windows?

I have created an animated .gif to place in a powerpoint presentation, but when I sent it to my client who used a windows computer, it does not work. When I try to open the .gif in my windows 98 virtual machine, it says it has errors.
I created it in photoshop CC using the timeline and saving it with "save for web".

AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHH! Stupid Powerpoint corrupted the files when it "packaged" them

Der iMac erscheint zwar beim PC unter Freigaben, aber wenn man auf die Mediathek des iMac in der PC-Anzeige klickt, erscheint der bunte Drehball und nach einer Weile ist die Anzeige des iMac in der Rubrik Freigabe beim PC nicht mehr da. Erst nach Neustart des PC erscheint der iMac dort wieder. So nutzt mir das gar nichts. Die Einkäufe werden automatisch auf allen drei Geräten aktualisiert.
Sämtliche "Hilfen" habe ich durchsucht, aber ohne Erfolg. Es klappt einfach nicht mit der Freigabe.
Vielleicht ist es ja möglich, eine deutsche Antwort zu bekommen.
Ich kann mir auch gut vorstellen, dass ein solches Forum in Deutschland gut genutzt würde. Es ist sehr schade, dass es das nicht gibt. Aber vielleicht kommt soetwas ja irgenwann einmal. Jetzt wo auch in Deutschland an jeder Ecke Apple-Produkte zu kaufen sind und keine Exoten mehr darstellen.

Can you be really specific about the necessary Windows XP updates needed? I run XP Pro on a rather new computer and just got an IPOD mini. I'm ready to tear my hair out because iTunes seems to crash my computer every time I change one CD for another. iTunes runs REALLY, REALLY slow for me. Also read on the board that iTunes 6.0 and the mini don't work well together. True or not true?

BTW- Your profile shows you have iOS 6.1.4 installed. The max iOS for an iPad is 6.1.3. iOS 6.1.4 is for iPhones only.

Why does flash player not work with fcebook? Whenever I wish to view a video, I get the message that i need to upgrade my flash player. Then no matter how often I download and install flash player I still get the message that I need to upgrade my flash player. When I go check which version I have, I always get the message that I have the most current one. I run Mozilla Firefox with Windows. I don't know anything else.

This means you don't have the latest version installed. Update to 11.9.900.117, and Firefox will allow it: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

Once the total size of your library exceeds the capacity of your device all you need to do is create some size limited playlists to determine what goes on the device. Don't sync all movies, sync one or two that you plan to watch soon. Likewise with TV Shows. Limit podcasts to unplayed episodes and finally create a music subset. What worked for me for some time was a smart playlist called Steve's Tunes defined as Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Exclude where Exclude was regular playlist that I would manually add to until Steve's Tunes was small enough to fit. These days I run an iPhone and have a number of smart playlists with ? Gb of most played, ? Gb of highly rated, ? Gb of recently added, ? Gb of essentials, ? Gb of unplayed etc. Each time I sync I get slightly updated selection without having to put any extra effort in.

IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use. You need to install the Plugin version of Flash for Firefox.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here:

Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit

Both you and the recipient have to have active data connections, and both devices have to have iOS 5 or higher to be able to use iMessage. Also, they both have to have iMessage activated. If that is already the case, there is a possiblility that iMessage is down. It has gone up and down several times in the past week. I purchased the CS5 Adobe Production Premium. I have been working in Premiere and I have been learning about how to use Dynamic Link. I want to be able to alter clips in After Effects and bring them back and forth into Premiere. When I go to File/ Adobe Dynamic Link/New After Effect Composition, I get this message:
Adobe Dynamic Link Requires Adobe Production Premium.
Since I own production premium, I do not know why I am getting this message. I have reinstalled the CS5 Production Premium Software twice and it still gives me the same message. What can I do to get Dynamic Link Working.
