Why does my ipod say accessory is not supported all of a sudden? I'm only trying to charge it.
This is the first time this message came up.
Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

Why does my Ipod say its charging when it isn't reseaving any power?

I read every article on the support part of the apple website and nothing could help me. My Ipod touch is a 3rd generation and has 32 gigs, if thats relavent at all. So, my Ipod has a picture of a dead battery with a lightning bolt on it, and it only shows when its charging. The apple support said that picture means that the Ipod is charging, but is so dead that it cannot function, and to let it charge for 30 minutes and it should be better. It sat on a wall charger (a usb outlet that is plugged into the wall) for 3 days now and theres been no progress. So why does my Ipod say its charging when it isn't reseaving any power?
I've tried 2 wall chargers, and tried connenting it to all three of my computers, and tried about 4 differant charger cords. On all of them the Ipod says its charging, but it isn't getting any charge. So I don't believe its a severed power cord. I have also reset it a few times, and it won't show the apple sign, only the same battery/lightning picture.

It could also be the charging circuit in the iPod. The Genius Bar is free. You could try to replace the battery yourself but that may not fix it.

If you are using a USB hub, don't. Connect directly to the computer. Disconnect all other USB devices except for keyboard and mouse.

why does my ipod choose to mix the playing order of an album. no matter how many times i remove it from my ipod, when i put the album back on, it is played in a jumbled up order. i have asked itunes but they are ignoring me.

It's likely that your iPod's headphone jack needs replacing. You can opt to have Apple fix it for a pretty hefty price or you can look for a 3rd party repair company to do it instead.
Either way, it might not be a bad idea to bring it into your local Apple store to see if there is anything they can do for you.

HT202157 Why does Apple TV say Netflix is not available when I can watch it on my computer?

I have reset my Apple tv to factory defaults, but it did not ask me to activate it again.
For the last two days everytime i try watch a Netflix movie is says Netflix is not availble please try again latter.
I have also power cycled my apple tiv by leaving it unplugged five minutes and upgraded the software.
I was using it with no problem and am not aware of anything I did to hurt the configuraton.
Again I have reset and restarted and power cycled several times.
Not sure why it did not ask me to activate it again.
I can also watch trailers and get to the sign in page on other channels.
This is the first Apple product I have ever bought because I don't like the fact everything they have is propriatary.
I work in IT and there is a good reason why you don't see Apple servers in datacenters.
Maybe at an art department in a marketing company at the most.

I understand that point. They are mostly bought from iTunes. But, I can watch on my laptop, iPad, iPhone on an airplane or wherever without an Internet connection. So why the hang up on my apple tv, should it not just be an extension of my laptop?

i am trying to create a new iCloud account on my old iPad 2 (I now have a iPad air 2) and my old iPad is saying it is not edible for a iCloud account what do I do?

It is indeed a limit of three accounts - this is tied to the hardware, not the account, and can't be got round. If you create an account on another Mac or iOS device (not Windows) you can then sign into it on the iPad in question.

so I have my ipod touch 5th gen connect and the little lightning symbol, next to the battery on the top left, keeps flashing on and off every second. I don't know what to do and also it doesn't show up on iTunes.

Hey Ed, Try trouble shooting 101. Do you have a different cable and/or charging device? If so, try the different cable first, then a different charging device. If the problem goes away, I'd say it's the cable, replace it. If with in 1 from date of purchase, Apple will replace for free if the cable is found to be defective. If the problem continues with a different cable or a different charging device, then the problem is with your iPod. With a strong light and a magnifying glass look in the iPod's charging port. Your looking for damage in and around the port. Is the port lose? (shouldn't be). Are pieces missing or damaged? Bent or damaged contact pins can do what you describe. Foreign debris, namely pocket lint or corrosion can also cause charging issues. If you see something like lint, try to blow it out, or if you must use a non-conductive probe, I find a round wooden toothpick works well to carefully remove the lint from the bottom of the port. Just be careful to not touch, bend or damage the gold contact pins on the long side of the port. Also make sure the locking pins on the short ends (looks like two silver bumps, one on each end) of the port are free to move. If you find corrosion, try plugging / unplugging about 12 times to clean the contacts off. If you must use a cotton swab cut to fit, with a drop of 91% isopropyl alcohol on it, you want it damp, not wet, then plug it in and out until the swab comes out clean. You will most likely need several swabs. If you find nothing physically wrong, then try resetting your iPod. If that does not work, restore from backup, last resort, make a backup then restore to new, a full factory restore. If issue continues see your Apple store and have it evaluated for a possible hardware issue. But start with a different or new cable. Good luck, Cheers.

Why does my iPod say I have 352 photos where I only have 24

Ok so I just relaxed my iPod touch because my last one broke. Everything has been covered with iCloud, so I have everything I had before...accept for most of my photos. I had about 325 photos and ipthey are in photo stream (my iPad and iPod share the same photos) and I only received 24 pf them. The thing that ****** me off is that with the 24 photos I have it still says I have the photos I had before and it's making a lot of space on my iPod. All in all how can I get the old photos back?

I managed to get rid of the phantom usage. Restoring iPhone and resetting the phone settings/data do not work for me.
I had to move the Date on my phone earlier by 1,2,3 months and found the phantom photos in the Recently Deleted Folder. Next, I deleted the photos manually from the Recently Deleted Folder and the usage got freed up from my iPhone.

Why does my Ipod touch 5th gen not sync podcasts with my Windows Itunes? Both are up to date with versions.

I didn't see this asked so sorry if this is a duplicate question.
In Itunes (it is the most recent version for windows available as of 2/12/2014) all my podcasts are showing they have downlaoded to my PC. They don't have the little cloud next to them. I sync my Ipod touch 5th gen. The sync shows everything was synced. I look at the "Whats on this ipod" tab and they are listed. But when I disconnect the ipod via the "eject" icon on the Ipod button in itunes and look at the podcasts they still show as not downloaded (greyed out and if wifi is turned on the little cloud is next to them ).
So whats going on? I had this issue with my ipod touch 4th gen as well and though it was because the podcast app stopped upgrading but the itunes on windwos did. But the syncing of the podcasts are even worse with the 5th gen then they were with the 4th gen.
I typically don't have wifi turned on since I want to sync the ipod via itunes. So I have a central place to keep the old podcasts without having to take space on the ipod itself. I saw some references to the downloading of podacasts are done only via wifi, but that just didn't make sense. Why be able to sync Itunes if they are just going to turn around and make you do the same on the device?
Any ideas? Suggestions?
