Why does my memory kep being used up when I am not downloading anything

my memory keeps being used up when I haven't downloaded anything to my iPad had 9gb free last night I now have 4 ?

It is occupied by "Other"
1. Cache for apps, browser, mail, messages, reading list
2. Saved games
3. Documents and data
4. Notes
5. Voice Memos
You can backup and restore to reduce "other" but they will start building up over time.

Thanks Jeff, I was not aware that a template could be multi-page. (All the existing templates were 1 page)
But it worked, saving me some steps. When I was finished I renamed the document, and locked it.
Then tried to save it but could not because it was locked. I closed it, went to my Spread Sheet Folder ,
to find it, it was not there. The Finder could not find it either.
So I start over again.
I opened up Numbers and it showed my personal Numbers template folder, it contained both my new
original 4 page template and the vanished saved document!
I tried to delete the template containing these document data and could not - I had to go to the Library/Application Support/Numbers to physically remove it from this folder. Then I started over again. I Finally found out how to make it work: I can now "save as", and then lock, and it will go to place where I want it to be saved and locked.
The secret is: Click on the document title in the menu bar, and it opens up "Save as...", which works the same as in OS 10.4.11, and you can pick the place you want for saving. Once done that, you can then lock the document in the same pull down menu, and then close it.
I also found later that I can delete a template from its folder, by letting Numbers open the templates,
clicking on the one I want to remove, then go to the "Numbers Menu/File/Move to...", select "Desktop"
and from there the selected template can then be thrown into the Trash from there.
It appears now that the real fault of the Numbers software is that the "Save as" command is not available in the "Edit" or "File" pull-down menus, but hidden behind the title of the document.

why am i being charged ($1.05 on several occations ) when i did not buy anything, just downloaded free apps and sometimes i have updated few of those free apps.
all i see is charges our of no where! it doesn't happen every time i do a free download (games. etc,,).. and am sure what i download is from 'top free
i have a susption that it happens when i update some of my free apps, because some times the charges are more than $1.05,, but rather 3,4,5,6,7!!!
please explain, i can't figure out whats happening !

Apple "veriifes" your Apple ID account information everytime you download media whether free or paid thus the authorization hold. Your account will be credited the amount of the holds usually within 24 to 48 hours.

My memory was close to 20 GB, but now is almost down to 1. Every few minutes it seems like it goes down by .01 GB and I'm not downloading anything, so why is this happening? I have a PowerBookG4 that is a couple years old now, if that helps. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why does icloud open in internet explorer when I use Google as my main browser? I did something to make it happen and can't find how to change it back.

Hey man I was having the same problem and I found the answer.... Im going to put the steps you have to follow.
1.Open www.icloud.com on your Internet Explorer and if you're signed in you have to sign out.
2. Open www.icould.com on your Google Chrome and then sign in and click on the box that says "stay signed in" or something like that.
3. Try to open icloud the normal way you do it and it has to open on Chrome.
This worked for me, hopefully it works for you man, let me know.

They're wrong. That's why it's saying that. Check to make sure that the address you have input is the same as the address that your bank has on file for you. Also, make sure you're using an approved payment method for your area. Alternatively, you can simply use an iTunes gift card instead, which bypasses the need to have payment information on file.

Why does my Ipod touch 4g battery die when i'm not using it?

I've had it since December(Christmas) and it as already seen the screen of death.I dont know whats wrong with it the battery died when i wasn't even using it. How can i fix this, and is this covered in my 1 year warranty from apple.

I have any iPhone 4 running 4.3.3. iOS. I recently synced photos in iphoto 6 and selected the folders i wanted I wanted to sync in iTunes. after the sync, the folders that i wanted to sync are there, but also the photo library folder is there. I wish to not have the photo library folder there since it is just a duplication of what is in the other folders that i have asked iTunes to sync. Any Suggestions???

Well, actually it is not a duplication. The Photos app stores photos the same way that iPhoto does. All photos synced to your phone are stored in the "Photo Library". The photos you see in the various albums/folders are really pointers to the actual photos which are in your photo library. They are not duplicates, and no you cannot get rid of the Photo Library.

Why does my track window keep opening up when I don't press anything on the keyboard, followed by logic crashing?

After five minutes of opening up logic the computer will start opening up the new track window followed by a new time signature window, this is an infinite loop that normally ends up with logic crashing. The problem started after plugging in my Yamaha psr-280 into the keyboard I've unplugged it but this seems to make no difference. Help??

Why does my Ipad say headphones are connected when they are not?

I do not have sound on my iPad1. When I try to turn up the volum it indicates headphones are connected, but they are not. When I do use headphones they do work. I have rebooted the iPad, reset and restored the iPad and the issue still exists. Is this a straight hardware problem?

iPad has a mechanical switch inside the jack so it knows when the headphones are plugged in.
It may be stuck.
Inspect it to see if something is in there, such as toe jam.
Blow the port out with compressed air.
Try inserting and removing a headphone plug several times.

Why does my printer show up as "busy" when it's not?

The situation is this: I set up my HP Laserjet 1200 via AirPort and everything worked fine until I started printing a pdf document from a client. As it was processing, I noticed that it was set up for US Letter paper instead of A4 (my default). So I went into the printer queue and deleted the print job. I also briefly turned my printer off and then on again, because it was still flashing; trying to print the deleted job. Then I changed the page setup in the document, and pressed "print" again. The printer icon started jumping up and down, and I was told in an error message that it could not connect to the printer: it was busy. It was not!
I have temporarily connected my printer back to my iMac, but would like to have it working through AirPort instead, so any help would be much appreciated!
