SHuffle does not play songs in a truly random fashion. Like all computer related random generators the sequence is pseudo-random

If i have an iPhone and an iPad on the same apple id, what do i do to NOT have my iPad get the imessages for my phone?
On the iPad:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Uncheck your phone number from both sections
To turn it off completely:
Settings > Messages > turn off iMessage -
Why can I no longer set the default page to something else? Every time I open Mozilla Firefox, it always reverts back to the Mozilla page. No matter how many times I do this, it always reverts.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

I just updated to 6.1.3 not knowing that i would ahve to completley reset my iphone because i did this while jailbroken, wanted to get rid of it anway but not when i try to set up my idevice as a new iphone via itunes it doesnt do anything i click on it and it takes me to my music and does nothing i click on the iphone thing and it takes me back o the same screen asking do i want restore or set up as new ihpone i have tried both and they do the same thing which is nothing. i even tried to reset it again by putting it in dfu mode nothing is working.... If anyone could please help ive had this iphone for awhile now its a 4s got it in feburary ive never had any problems like this Any solutions please.......
But it is I jsut can sync, back up files, or anything becuase its stuck at this screene and wont do execute when i click either of those button

I would like to transfer music from my account to my wife`s on the same Mac but different 2 users (hers and mine), i want her to have her own i tunes account but now that she has downloaded all of her stuff in my account , she has to "erase and sync" all of her stuff when she opens her account which has nothing in it!, how can i send stuff from my i tunes account to hers? same computer different users, how can i trouble shoot please help!!??

One computer (my newer one with Lion) doesn't have any music before 7/2008 included as "purchased" but still has all the music in the general library that the other computer has listed in the "purchased" playlist (going all the way back to 2006) automatically generated by itunes. The other computer (the one with the correct purchased playlist) only has snow leopard but apparently can still work with the cloud as it has all the new downloads/purchases that have been completed on the other computer. Is this related to the Itunes plus thing - are all the songs before 7/2008 or whatever the date is not itunes plus and that's why they are not showing up as purchased in one computer? I think I can fix this by creating a special playlist of my own to sync between the two of them, but it would be nice to have both purchased lists be accurate for the synced library. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
You can transfer iTunes content from an iTunes library on a single computer only.
Since these songs were purchased with the same iTunes account, you can download the song that is not in your iTunes library on the computer you will be syncing your iPhone with. Or you can download the song or songs direct on your iPhone.

Why does each Apple TV app that requires a cable subscription require separate activation/cable verification? I only have one cable subscription, so can the Apple TV just store my info and give me access to all of the app my cable subscription allows? At the very least apps from the same company should all activate at one (ABC and the Disney apps).

Ok so I have an iPhone and an iPod which share the same iCloud/appleID. I did this today when I got my new iPhone I put in my iCloud details which put everything I had on my iPod onto my iPhone(I was unaware this happened). I'm happy with all the apps added straight on and my contacts added but I don't want to have all my photos from my iPod on my iPhone. I want to keep the photos from my iPod on my iPod and when I take pictures on my iPhone they stay just on my iPhone. I'm wondering if this is possible as it's with the iCloud? I have previous synced my iPod on my laptop when adding music ect but I don't know if that effects iCloud I don't really know but I'm worried if I delete all the pictures off of my iPhone then sync that then sync my iPod into the same laptop will it wipe those pictures since there off my iPhone? I don't really get how all this works so help is very much appreciated!! And I hope what I've wrote makes sense to someone!

If you don't want photo stream to sync your photos between devices go settings > iCloud and uncheck photos, do this on each device. -
Why does my music appear on my iphone, but needs to be downloaded when I press "play"?
I have my itunes library set to sync all of my songs, and they all appear on my iphone. However, when I go to play a certain song, it cant. The song title fades and it need to be downloaded again. I just dont understand why because my iCloud is off. Please, someone help.
If you updated the phone and restored it from a backup, your music is not part of that backup data. It needs to be downloaded again:

Why are my ITunes playlists on my iPhone, iPad and Mac not the same?
I don't understand the ITunes. I have an Iphone, Ipad and new Mac Probook with Retina Display. When I add songs to ITunes my playlists do not synchronize. I have to manually delete the playlist on my Mac, create new ones, then synch with USB to each device. Isn't there an easier way to manage the playlists?
You can't drag and drop content onto smart playlists, only regular ones.

why do all of my web pages automatically return to top of web page? I always use me keypad to scroll down but within two seconds the page pops back to top of web page I was on? using latest safari browser. It doesnt do this when I use Chrome... i prefer to use safari,, is there something i can reset? Thank you
Is this happening to a webpage that requires a cookie or cache? It is possible either cookie or cache is corrupted. Cookies are frequently used to manage your passwords securely.

Why does't Apple allow you to read your iBooks library over the web from a browser or me account? I have time to read during the day via a browser, but not by Ipad or Iphone. I love the features that iBook offers, but I have had to settle for Google books which is slow to upgrade its features. I just want to be able to highlight, copy and past and make notes and also have the option to read a book in a browser like google books.

Unfortunately, it would have much more impact if it were true.
Just because you don't know how to do something... that doesn't mean it can't be done.
I do what you say can't be done every day.
You just need to put your iPod into manual update mode, and everything will be fine. You songs won't be greyed out, and you can play them with no trouble at all.
So, next time you need help with something, just ask for help and we'll help you. It'll certainly make yourself look less foolish this way.
Ranting and bashing Apple for no reason isn't going to win many people over. -

No, it will not affect the iPhone 6 content if you wipe the old iPhone 4s.

Hi, I have an odd situation where "select count(*) from my_view where some_clause" returns 0, but the exact same query fetching the data (ie "select * from my_view where some_clause") works fine and fetches, correctly, 4000+ records. I have tried dro
