Why does my new iPhone 5s keep taking me back to the Hello screen after I restore instead of home screen?
I've just plugged in my brand new iPhone 5s into iTunes to restore all the info from my old iPhone 4 onto it but instead of coming up with the homescreen with the icons it just brings me right back to the Hello screen and walks me back through the first few questions for Setting Language, Selecting Country, and Choosing a Wi-Fi network and then finally to Set Up iPhone and I select the Restore from iTunes Backup. At that point iTunes gives me the selection on their screen and I restore from backup. I see the Homescreen for a second and then it goes through the whole thing all over again. What's happening?
Are you sure it isn't just going into standby mode, if you touch the screen when it goes black does anything happen?
Perhaps a recent software update has reset some settings.

Why does my new macbook air keep crashing i.c.w. Time Capsule!!!?
I bought my new MBA 11" @ the apple store eaton centre in Toronto. Since my purchase i dec 2010 the MBA crashed often but i thought this was normal (once a week).
Now i connected a brand new Time Capsule & Airport Express (bought @ apple.com) and now it crashes every 30 minutes!!!
--when i try to copy data to the time capsule it crashes after 1,5 gb.
--when i'm listening music via Airport Express the MBA crashes after 20 minutes.
I get a ' filter' over my screen with in several languages that i need to reboot....
I tried to get support at Apple (via phone) but the suggested that i should visit iCentre (in Ede, The Netherlands were i live).
They took my Apple in repair. Got it for over a week and then they told me that the had run some test and that there was nothing wrong... The invoice was euro 79,-!
...At home i tried to copy files to my Time Capsule and the machine crashes again.... (nothing wrong???)
Why can't i get normal support on this expensive machines....!!!???Backing up other Ethernet doesn't prevent access via Wi-Fi.
If the Time Capsule creating a wireless network? If not, you'll need to configure it to do so in order to allow the MBA to connect to it. If it does, can you connect the MBA to the Time Capsule's network?
Depending on the amount of data you want to transfer, using a USB-to-Ethernet adapter would help things run faster. -
The iTunes sync keeps crashing and saying that the device cannot be found. I have bought a new cable recently off eBay and it manages to charge my iPhone when I plug it into my macbook but its not allowing me to sync or import pictures.

I just updated to 6.1.3 not knowing that i would ahve to completley reset my iphone because i did this while jailbroken, wanted to get rid of it anway but not when i try to set up my idevice as a new iphone via itunes it doesnt do anything i click on it and it takes me to my music and does nothing i click on the iphone thing and it takes me back o the same screen asking do i want restore or set up as new ihpone i have tried both and they do the same thing which is nothing. i even tried to reset it again by putting it in dfu mode nothing is working.... If anyone could please help ive had this iphone for awhile now its a 4s got it in feburary ive never had any problems like this Any solutions please.......
But it is I jsut can sync, back up files, or anything becuase its stuck at this screene and wont do execute when i click either of those button

Why does my new iPhone 5s screen go black?
I just got this phone in December, and recently the screen has been going black for awhile. When it's black, I can still hear vibrations when I get a text message or the siri beeping when I hold down the Home button. I try restting it, but that doesn't do anything. The phone only turns on again after I plug it into a power source, but sometimes this even takes a while (and it doesn't turn black from lack of battery--sometime it has 80% or more!). Also, this just happened again, and I tried plugging my phone in, but it's not coming back on. It keeps buzzing about every five seconds though.

Why am I asked for my apple password on my iPad & iPhone when I go into my calendar, settings & phone book?
Not only is that odd behavior on one device but to have it occurring on both devices at the same time seems really weird.
Have you tried signing out of your Apple ID on either or both devices, restart or reboot and sign in again?
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iDevice by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iDevice by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the device start up.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in again. -
Why does my new bookmark folder keep disappearing?
I'm new to Firefox and have twice added a new folder to my bookmarks list and have then added urls to it. The laptop has then been turned off and when I come back on both the folder and the saved urls have vanished. I've added the folder in Bookmarks -> Show all bookmarks. I'm using firefox 4.
This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Why does a new window show up and then go to the background
I'm beginning to thing that firefox is teasing me. Many times I will open a new window and for a second the content I want to see will display, then the new window will just DISAPPEAR and my first window will be displayed. I have to un-bacikground the new window. It's both time-consuming and extremely aggravating.

I can't sign-in to ebay, it keeps taking me back to the sign-in page
I've cleared the cache and cookies and I'm not having this problem with Internet Explorer. I've tried disabling extensions and the Firefox theme is on default.
When I try to sign-in, I notice the little padlock in the bottom right hand corner has a red exclamation mark and says... 'Warning: contains unauthenticated content'Thanks sean, I appreciate your reply... but to be honest I feel that if Firefox can't address what seems to be a pretty basic problem, then I feel safer ( and more convenient) with I.E....
It is a shame, because as soon as I tried Firefox, I noticed the much faster speed of the browser and stability, but, this ebay problem doesn't fill me with much confidence.
(Separate issue, but I'm also not keen on the way the cache is arranged.. but that's a different matter)
Any other ideas anyone ?... before I revert back to I.E. so that I can access ebay without hassle ? -
I have the student/teacher version - Even though I have downloaded - or it says it is installed - I can't get the program to open it only takes me back to the install menu.
It sounds like you are starting the installer again rather than the program. Try going to your applications folder or your program files folder and locate the icon for the Lightroom program in the folder. Double click on that icon to try to start the program. If that works then you should create a desktop icon for the program.

Why does my new iMac keep freezing for no apparent reason?
Why does my new iMac keep freezing? This usually happens when it is not being used and is particularly frustrating when I do need to use it and ahve to switch off and then on again and wait for it to reboot.
I am not computer literate so keep any answers as simple and idiot friendly as possible. I treat it like a car. If I put in the key and turn the ignition on and the enginesprings into life I am content. If not.............. well!In order to provide any help we need to understand a little bit more about the problem you are experiencing.
You indicated the issue occurs when the sytem is not being used. Does this mean that you stop working on the system and the system 'goes to sleep' where the screen goes black, but when you need to wake it back up by pressing keys on the keyboard or clicking the mouse the system doesn't wake back up? To test for this issue open the System Preferences and click on the Energy Saver preferences. See the 'Computer Sleep' slider to the far right 'Never' setting. You can set the 'Display sleep' setting to any number you prefer. With these settings see if the issue still occurs and let us know the results. If it resolves the issue then give Apple a call and let them know you are unable to wake the system when it goes to sleep. You shouldn't be having that issue.

Hello, I have an Oracle Report that has one parent repeating frame containing several children repeating frames. One repeating frame has a maximum of three records per page. If the records do not exceed the maximum, page numbering is fine. If there a
