this problem started suddenly
went from mic being too sensitive while phone speaker is on to not warepicking up normal voice
is there some setting? corrupted app? hardware seems ok because
mic works fine with speaker off

tried reset, then a restore and even vacuumed the mic and it still won't work while the speaker is activated
use of earphones uses mic normally
is there some echo cancellation circuitry that could have failed?

I tell you i really hope someone can help me, because im seriously getting fed up. Im running on Windows 8 OS and using an updated version of firefox with flash player version 11.8. Recently i had to replace my harddrive for my laptop and ever since relplaceing and even a little before i have been haveing major problems while playing video in firefox. Upon loading firefox, flash player stops working and immediately gives an error message, slowing the loading process considerably. Furthermore, while watching live video feeds, the video freezes constantly and even knocks me off my internet connection to where i have to run a troubleshooter to get back online. I have tried everything and still cannot fix this issue. Please help me. If you have any idea at all please reply here or you can even contact me by email: [email protected] Im desperate because i use this laptop to watch video of my classes. Thank you.

My WIn7 machine did this all the time on YouTube. I uninstalled BOTH Flash Player and Shockwave. Then I reinstalled Shockwave first, followed by Flash Player. I haven't seen a crash since.

Why does Creative Cloud Setup stop working when I re-install the program?

I have Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC trough Creative Cloud. But then Creative Cloud stopped working -and now I need help to get CC running again.
I have read the troubleshootingpages and this is what I have done so far:
I uninstalled Creative Cloud
Restarted the PC
Downloaded and run CreativeCloudSet-Up.exe
After about 5 minutes of downoading and installing:
Creative Cloud Setup has stopped working.

Why does my iRadio Station stop working when I move the slider?

I have chosen to create a station using the station Lindsey Stirling Radio that pops up when you type her name. This station will play if I simpy create it and play it. When i click on the little "i" in the circle at the top of the station I get the page that allows you to "Tune This Station". If I move the slider from "Hits" to "Variety" or "Discovery" the station no longer plays music. The album picture appears as a station but nothing happens when i tap it. Anyone have an idea why this would occur?

Why does my flash player stop working when watching HD videos?

I use Internet Explorer 9, but I've had this issue with all of the browsers. While trying to play an HD video, the box where the video is supposed to play disappears and I get a message that I need to download the newest version of Adobe flash. This happens at least every other day. Usually exiting out of the browser and starting it back up again will make it work for a time but it is very annoying. I've tried following the steps shown in the help section but they have done me no good. (this happens often with flash games as well.)

Could you give our Flash Player 11.6 beta a try and let me know if this continues happening?

Why does my iPod Shuffle stop working after a few songs?

I had my iPod Shuffle for about a month now and it's already causing me trouble.
I would play a couple of songs, but when I go to change it, it stops working. I turn it off and on again only to have it take me back to where I started off at (e.g. Let's say I have 100 songs, I start at 50 and I get to 55 before it shuts off. When I turn it back on, it starts at 50 all over again). This process would happen over and over again with seemingly no end.
So my question is, why does my iPod Shuffle stop working after a few songs and how can I fix it?
I already tried using the iTunes troubleshooting guide, but nothing worked.

4th Generation
I only use it at the gym or when I'm running
I've only used the Apple products that came with it so far
(e.g. charger, headphones, etc.)
881 MB are still left
Music stops randomly, no common number or pattern

I had the same problem, I purchased a new ipod shuffle, followed the instructions but it would stop after a few songs and I would have to shut it off, wait and turn it back on and it would go back to the same song and then once again, after a few songs it would shut off. I returned the ipod and got another one, same thing happened. This is how I resolved the issue.
1. open itunes, make sure its up to date, then connect your shuffle to your pc
2.on the left of the itunes window, select your ipod, then at the top select music then check the sync box and select "selected playlists"
3.then go back and click on your ipod on the left, a message will appear just select apply
all of your music should be emptied from your ipod.
4.delete all of your playlists on the left, this will not delete anything from your library. Delete the "purchased" playlist under itunes store on the left as well, once again this will not delete anything from your library
5.There should be an arrow just in front of your ipod, click on this arrow and you should see your music file for the ipod appear, this should be the only file that you see, everything else should be deleted.
6. go to your music library and check only the songs that you want to load into your ipod. Double click on each song to make sure that they all play.
If you find a song that does not play you should be asked to authorize it, don't waste your time that did not solve the issue for me, instead cancel to authorize the song and then delete the song and move it to recycle bin. Once the song is deleted a cloud should appear, click on the cloud and download the song again, when done, make sure the song plays and that it is checked.
7.After you have made sure that all of the songs play and are checked, click on your ipod once more, located to the left, check the box "sync only checked songs" then from the top select music. In the music window select "sync music' and then select "entire music Library"
8. Go back to the left and click on the arrow in front of your ipod, you should see the music file, click on the music file and you should see all of your music being loaded to your ipod.
9. When all of the music is done loading, eject your ipod by clicking on the arrow located after the battery symbol where your ipod appears on the left
10. Turn on your ipod and scroll through your songs to make sure that the problem is resolved.
Not sure if all of this was necessary but it worked for me.

You can get that info by right clicking on "My Computer" Uusually on the desktop) and selecting Properties in the drop down menu.
And what version of Fire Fox are you using?
And which plugin are you using, and is it for Flash Player?

Did you try to delete teh photo chache? Photo Sync creates iPod photo Cache
Is there enough free space left on the phone? iTunes needs up to 4x the space to sync the photos than the actual size of the photos to be copied to the phone.

I've been wanting for awhile now a way to easily turn off all notification alerts and incoming calls while keeping cellular data and wi-fi on so I can use my phone in peace without gimping my wireless connections, and even though iOS 6 as a whole seems awesome to me, I'm disappointed Do Not Disturb only works when the iPhone is locked.

Why has my internal mic stopped working?

Hi. The internal mic in my MacbookPro stopped working suddenly. When I go to system preferences>sound, and I speak, the bars on the built in internal mic move, but the person on the other end does not hear me. I plugged in headphones with mic and tried to use Skype but still they could not hear me. Please, help!!! Txs

Mic stops working when Skype installed

Skype on my netbook (Acer Aspire One 522) has worked flawlessly for over a year and after several system formats. By last time I format it all and reinstalled windows, the microphone stoped working just after installing Skype, not prior to it since I used for some testings.
It is not a hardware or driver issue since the microphone is working and the system and drivers are updated, but when I install Skype it doesn´t work even if the mic is detected.
I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 and the mic worked again, then I installed Skype and it just doesn´t work afterwards, as if it were mutted (sound is at 100% and the mic is detected by skype and the system) but doesn´t work (not on Skype or any other program like the windows utility microphone).
Should I just reformat my netbook and not install Skype to have my mic working?!
Any clues? Thanks for your help.

That literally does not make an sense. I would have a tendency to believe your mic or rather onboard mic cable is failing or you have an issue with the audio driver package you are installing. There may be a windows update that could possibly affect your audio. There is nothing in Skype that modifies how your system audio/mic works. If Skype is installed and not running in the background, it will have no affect on your mic whatsoever.
The only time I have had a condition similar to yours is when I put a load on my onboard webcam using Skype. The onboard mic/webcam would work intermittently; usually once a reboot. Once I replaced that internal USB (data audio/video) cable, the problem went away completely. Think of the concept of a frayed wire, it may work, but use it for extended periods of time, or pass more current through it and it fails.
Try an external 3.5mm jack mic. If it works when Skype is installed, that points to the internal mic yet again. You can try plugging it in an out and see how it switches back and forth between your onboard and external mic. In any case, you can also try newer Conexant audio drivers from Acer for the Aspire One E1-421. It uses similar hardware and it's drivers are about 1 year newer than the ones for your model.
