Why does my PS 7 act this way?

Basically, this is my situation. Everytime I try to start up Photoshop 7, this is what happens. I mean it worked before on my old HDD, but since I updated to a new larger Hard Drive, and I just reinstalled, it, this is whats happened. So Ive even uninstalled, and reinstalled this so many times, Im willing to give up. I just hope I can get an answer?

Use a bigger font. Mylenium also proposed this answer above. I'm guessing it's the real issue here.

Why does the print come back this way? Help

I've been sending for prints through Aperture. And I posted here before with no difference of result following the reply.
See the picture exapmple here.
I get the prints back and the all have white borders onboth edges. I've tried setting a crop to 4x5 and then order a 4x5 or 8x10, I still get the borders. Right up to 16x20.
I removed all adjustements on the photos and send for prints and I still get the borders.
The example you will see is a Nikon D50 NEF exported as a JPG from Aperture. All adjustements removed.
The second is a scan of the same photo that I got as the print. White borders.
Any ideas. All my photos I've had Aperture print through have come back this way. And I've spent about $300 US already.

I'd guess that if you crop to 4x5, and then print on 2x3 (which is the standard format most minilabs use) you'll have to live with the borders.
Try cropping an image 2x3 (which is about the crop of your sensor) and then print again.
Also, export your image as a jpeg and use another print service for a test.
Finally, maybe there's a setting somewhere in Aperture which sets the borders on Prints done through the Apple print service (which is fulfilled by, I believe, Kodak). Thus, trash your Aperture prefs (which of course kills all your personalised settings except for registration info) and try again.

You need to sign in when using Photoshop Elements 12 as it is the method of activation. If you sign out it deactivates that installation.

Adobe Presenter - Why does Adobe have to be this difficult

Well, today I wanted to sign up to use Presenter...... I did my 30 days and I WAS ready to make a commitment!!!! That was until I went to make my commitment and Presenter is NOT listed anywhere!!! So how am I to purchase this product when it's NOT an option.
Even more so, when I try and contact Adobe to get some help, this is the only place I can go!!!!
Why does it have to be this difficult? Why can I not contact someone that can help me????
I guess maybe I need to more on to Articulate. I'm sure they would be happy to take my money!

Why does Adobe implement new features half way?

The new hover scrub with big thumbnails in icon view would be certainly useful if it was implemented in a way that works. As it is, it's useless. Unless your total footage is about ten clips, you end up with dozens or over a hundred clips with no way to sort them out, unless you love wasting time and you drag them all around in the order you want, which I'm sure very few people are willing to do.
So why does Adobe bring in a new feature, even makes tutorials about it, when for most people is absolutely useless? I don't get it.
Oh, and before you nag me about filing a feature request, don't. I already did it, and this is not something anyone should do. Feature requests should be for new ideas, not a crutch for Adobe to rely on to release new features half way, and then expect people to nag them about it to finish them.

I think what you meant to say is that you wish the team would have implemented sorting features before they added hover scrubbing. Hover scrubbing is a separate feature than Icon View, which has been in the product without sorting capability for years.
I agree with you that sorting capability should have been added to icon view long ago, but that's no reason to hold back a cool feature like hover scrubbing to the UI.
The other thing is that we as editors do not know what goes on behind the scenes during software development. There are a number of reasons why hover scrubbing made it into the interface before sort capability.
Hover scrubbing might have been developed by another group, and key features important to Premiere Pro users were not yet added.
There was not enough time to implement the feature, and other features took precedence.
Implementing the feature broke 5 other things when it was added to the existing code.
Implementing the feature causes the application to crash more frequently.
Other reasons that are privy to software developers.
Not saying that any of these things happened, but we cannot know. Honestly, there's not much more we can do as users can do but to request what we want, and how we want those things to work.

Why does my new iPod do this?

I don't understand what my iPod is doing. When I am playing a song with the iPod touch in portrait orientation, it shows the song and album that is playing. If I move it 90 degrees into landscape orientation, the screen changes from what music is playing to a completely different song and album. The music does not change at all, it remains playing the right music, only the screen goes crazy. If I go back to portrait orientation, the screen flips back to what is playing.
Why does my iPod do this and how do I make it stop this?   VERY annoying.

Why does Mail not update timely with Mavericks? Why does the download to fix this issue (?) won't install?

I installed Mavericks on my MacBook Pro when it first came out. Since then, my Mail program doesn't go out and get my new mail from gmail every minute like it's set to do. Sometimes new mail shows up on my smart phone as long as 10 minutes before it shows up on my Mac. I saw there was a stand-alone download for Mail on Mavericks meant to fix some gmail-Mavericks-Mail problems. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6030
However, this will not install on my Mac. The error message says simply that "this volume does meet the requirements for this update." Can't figure out why. I have plenty of memory.

Try adjusting the settings in Mail:
Mail > Preferences > General > Check For Incoming Messages: Every Minute
Also, you may be downloading an incompatible 10.9.1 update (one is for newest retina Macbook Pro's, the other for remaining Macs). Navigate to the Apple Logo > Software Update...
If it shows no software update available when the App Store opens, you are already running 10.9.1 (which includes the mail update).

Why is my Safari acting this way?

Recently I updated my Safari to the latest version but now there's some funny things happening with it. For example when I log into my yahoo email I check the check box for it to keep signed in but when I close it and open yahoo again I have to sign in again. Is there any way to fix this? Also in discussion board I close the safari and although i don't constantly sign in usually I should still be signed in but I'm not...is there a problem with my Safari?

Quit Safari.
Open Keychain Access
Select Passwords on the left.
Delete the Safari Forms Autofill keychain.
Relaunch Safari. See if that helps...
If not, go to ~/Library/Cookies.
Move the Cookies.list file to the Trash.

Why does FireFox freeze and the only way to unfreeze it is to open the task manager and close the plugin-container.exe file??? It has been happening more and more often and it is getting VERY AGGRAVATING!!!!!

When Firefox does freeze (not responding appears in parentheses in the page tab) I am not able to access any of the webpages (the entire webpage is hidden behind a vaguely white transparent foreground) and more often than not any files I might be downloading are stopped before the entire file has been transferred - which means that I have to start those downloads from the beginning AGAIN. This has been happening for quite some time and I AM SICK AND TIRED OF IT HAPPENING!!
If it continues to happen for much longer I will swear off FireFox FOREVER!!!!! Either a program works or it does not work and lately Firefox has not worked worth a damn...........
The ONLY way to force Firefox to allow me to access it is for me to end the plugin-container.exe file process using Task Manager. Clearing there is a SERIOUS problem here that has not been resolved - why not???

The pluging container opens up unnecessary copies as the cookies/history are cleared, this is a known issue, it might be what you are seeing, and it is hoped to be fixed in some future release of firerox.
There are some hangs affecting some users, with symptoms being high cpu usage, occurring as bookmark changes or syncing is in progress, there is a work around for that.

Why does my Macbook Pro do this?

Just to get all of the background out of the way, I have a mid-2010 Macbook Pro (7,1) with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 16GB of Ram running OSX 10.9.
The problem seems to occur after I've left the computer out overnight while not plugged in. The first time it happened, I thought it was a dead battery. The screen was black, etc... Also, the battery health is extremely low, so a dead battery makes sense. Then, I realized that the white light on the front was flashing like it normally does when the computer is on. Once or twice, it turned back on after I hit the brightness keys, but that doesn't work every time and when it does work, it only does so after trying it many times. So, each time I get frustrated and hold down the power button to reboot. Everything is normal and I even see the gray boot screen with the apple logo and and the loading gif.
As soon as that's done loading, the screen goes black again. If I hold a flashlight up to the Apple logo on the back of the computer, there's nothing on the screen. If I plug in an external monitor, nothing happens, but the white light on the front of the computer is still flashing. If I wait a while (I have no idea how long), the screen just turns on, and the computer runs really slowly for about 5-10 minutes before becoming fully operational.
Possibilities:
1. Dead battery. As I said before, the battery's health is poor, but other signs would indicate there's a bigger problem.
2. Possibly an OS problem? I don't think this is it either, because I've been tunning Mavericks for at least a couple months without any problems.
3. Overuse. This is my best guess. I'm a wrestling coach who films each match. My camera outputs in AVI, so I convert each video to MP4 using Handbrake. Can that happen? Can overuse cause the computer to behave eratically when it's not currently being overused? If so, what exactly can break by doing this?
Any help is much appreciated!

I don't leave it outside. Usually when I leave it overnight, I do so under the same conditions as when I leave it plugged in, and this morning I only left it for about an hour in my house and it did the same thing.

Multi-session PAT - why does multi-session PAT get this name?

I have read configuration guide for ASA 9.1.1 and found the topic of per-session PAT and multi-session PAT.
The configuration explains well about the benefits of using per-session PAT but, it does not talk enough when we should use multi-session PAT and why.
Why did they give the name of multi-session PAT to this multi-session PAT?
What are the application protocols that would be benefitials to use multi-session PAT and why? In the configuration guide, it speak to such protocols as SIP, H.323, and Skinny protocols as the candidates for multi-session PAT but, it does not mention why we should use it or what characteristics of these protocols make multi-session PAT more suitable for them.
Can someone help with it?

So does this mean that a single ReportQuery object would NOT be thread-safe if it re-prepares itself for every call? By thread-safe, I mean that I do not want the state of the object to change for ANY call. I'm concerned that the following race condition could occur:
THREAD 1: Statement is prepared for an IN param list of size 3
-- TIME SLICE HAPPENS JUST BEFORE QUERY IS EXECUTED --
THREAD 2: Statement is prepared for an IN param list of size 5. Query is executed successfully.

THREAD 1: Query is executed after it was reprepared for 5 IN params and fails because there were only 3 arguments provided for this thread.
