my storage keeps getting filled after I delete most of my apps, photo, etc. Im pretty sure it had something to do with the new update because it was fine before. please help its really bugging me and I cant even go on some of my apps because I don't have enough storage

While it's normal for your charger to feel hot due to its function, sometimes there's too much heat.
If your charger becomes so hot that you cannot touch it or you note a strange smell, your charger is malfunctioning and should be replaced.
A charger that malfunctions could damage the iPad battery, which also may need a replacement.

Why does iTunes Match keep getting stuck on Step 1?

I realise there are already countless threads on here from people with the same problem but none of them seem to be able to help me. I've recently renewed my iTunes Match subscription after many months but it keeps getting stuck nearly halfway through Step 1. The bar gets so far and then stops for ages.
I've tried all sorts of things: Stopping and starting the match, deleting my iTunes Library.itl file (which just creates even more problems with my library, so I have to put it back to normal with a backup), signing in and out of iTunes Store, closing and reopening iTunes, restarting my PC, deleting duplicates etc. None of them is solving the problem.
In case it's relevant, I've got Windows 8 on my laptop and my iTunes library is based on an external hard-drive I've got connected to the laptop by USB.
If there is any definitive answer to solving this problem, can someone please help me ASAP?

My macbook storage keeps getting filled when i have not downloaded anything

In the last two days my macbook storage appears to be getting filled. I have no idea by what because i have noe downloaded anything. How do i fix this?

I have the same problem ever since I bought my new MBP Retina 13", 128GB SSD. Summed up I have 120GB that I can use for storage (I can see that for example in iStat Pro or in the Activity Screen). I don't know if that is normal in the first place, since the SSD is 128GB?
Further, I only installed: iWork '09, MS Office for Mac and Coconut Battery. Nothing else is on my MBP yet. It is 'empty'. Oh yes, my MBP is working on Mountain Lion.
Now when I check the storage free space it is saying 89GB . What happened to the other 39GB ! Oh well, minus the programmes I have installed (6,75GB). Let's say what happened to the 30GB?
Yesterday it was still saying that I had 90GB left for storage use. Today is has already decreased to 89GB. In the mean time I did nothing, except surfing around on this Apple Support Communities and tried to find information with Google search engine. So, Safari was the only programme that was on.
Maybe it has to do with something downloading or 'saving' data automatically? I have no idea.

Why does "Baskerville Regular" keep getting turned off?

Since upgrading to Mavericks, Baskerville Regular -- the font used by the Dictionary (V2.2.1/156) -- keeps getting turned off. Result: when I open the Dictionary, all definitions etc. appear in bold.
All is fine if I open FontBook and turn Baskerville Regular back on again -- until I restart. Then I have to do it over again.
The problem is on a per-user basis. If I turn the font in on my account, stay logged in, and log in from another account, the font is turned off in that account.
Something’s turning it off. Anyone know what?

Why does my iphone keep getting disconnected from Wifi?

My laptop has no issue staying connected to my wifi, but my iphone 4 keeps getting disconnected. I connect to wifi then a few seconds later, it disconnects for some reason. My lapop doesn't seem to have this problem, but my iphone has been having this issue for some time now. I cannot load anything on my iphone because of this. I'm unable to go online for more than 3 seconds at a time, literally. HELP! I've resetted my network settings, forgot my network, and renewed lease on my settings, but I still haven't found a fix.

You are in a bad service area. Maybe you should think about switching carriers. Having bad service is not an iphone problem.

Why does my ipod tell me it will delete everything if I want to sync movies?

I want to put a movie from my computer onto my ipod, so I tried to manually drag and sync and it just tells me that iTunes has stopped workikng. So then I went to Summary and Movies tab and pushed sync and it says to sync it will delete all of my music, photos, etc. Why?? Is there a way to sync the move without deleting everything?

If the movie is purchased and on your computer then you can just use home-sharing (accessed via the computers icon)
If you select the Movies icon it will be streaming from the cloud and need to load a portion before it can start.
As for streaming, the speed seems fine but you should also check for interference (using istumbler or netstumbler) and make sure you are using your ISPs DNS (settings - network - configure DNS - should be set to automatic).
Sometimes ISPs throttle the connection at certain times or when a certain limit is reached.

HT1560 If diagnostics says appletv is working properly, why does the install keep getting stuck on pairing with the computer then back to select resolution over and over.

First gen Appletv suddenly stopped working from one night to the next. This has happened in the past once and the usual restore, reboot, etc, tinkering finally snapped it back into working quite unexpectadly. The symptom is, after restore when it gets to the screen to pair with itunes by entering the numbers in itunes, the number is briefly up on the tv screen and then quickly is gone returning to the select resolution page. This happens over and over with each try while the Appletv never shows up in itunes and the number box never appears either to pair the computer with the Appletv. It does the same thing with my intel macbook so I don't think it's the Imac. I have dumped itunes 10 and reloaded itunes 9 with no change in the problem. My IP scanner picks up that the Appletv is on our network as soon as it turns on. I have used wireless, which it finds and logs into, and ethernet which also has it finding my network. I can't test whether it is actually on the network by trying to play a trailer or something because it will not go past that pairing screen in the initial setup. Are the built in diagnostics reliable when they say your appletv is working correctly. The hard drive isn't making any exceptionally loud noise as it spins up. I am stuck with this unit because I use it with a G4 Imac running Tiger 10.4 for a video/audio jukebox at the bar. New ATV won't work with the Imac unless it's running leopard I believe. The thing runs like molasses already so attempting leopard which I don't have anyway would really make it crawl. I love a good mystery/problem but this thing is driving me crazy. If I just could know for sure what component inside was shot I would replace it. Could a hard drive boot up to a degree and then get stuck at one part of the install, or would it have to be the logic board, or something else. Bad juju in the house or something

Message said repairing estimated time 1minute, yeah okay we all know how accurate those are process took about 5 minutes with nothing showing then all of a sudden printer permission repaired notations were flying onto screen in actions box. Do restart for heck of it sign on and so far no message has apeared where it did regularly. I hope this is indeed the fix. In meantime it never hurts to fix permissions so give it a try.

Why does my mail keep getting knocked offline?

About every 5 or 10 minutes my mail gets knocked offline. The window pops up asking me to re-enter my password. I put in the password and ask it to remember, or I can cancel it. Same result about 5 minutes later it does it again. I have to go in to "get mail" to get back on line. My wife shares the same dsl line (thru a router) with her p.c. and is not having any problems.

SBC is having problems with some of their incoming mail servers, not all.
If you call SBC, they will tell you OS X and the Mail.app isn't supported and this is an OS X or Apple Mail problem only.
Baloney.
SBC's server problems are affecting Windows and Mac users with various email clients so you need to ask SBC when they expect to have their server problems resolved. Knowing what I've heard abount SBC, they will tell you it will be fixed sometime today which they have told countless other customers over the last several weeks. It appears SBC still hasn't resolved their server problems.

Why does my music keep getting deleted from my iphone while using itunes match?

Ever since i started itunes match, gradually my local music on my iphone has been removing itself to be replaced with the icloud symbol. All the music is still there but it's removed locally. Today all my music was suddenly removed requiring me to re-add all my music by clicking every icloud symbol individually and it is driving me absolutely mad! What am I doing wrong?!

Does the same thing happen if you use another set of headphones?
If it does, there might be something in the headphone jack like lint, dirt, or something else. You might be able to get it out by connecting the headphones 5-10x or spraying compressed air into the jack.
If it doesn't you might need to get those headphones replaced.

Why does my password keep getting reset?

I find that about 2-3 times a week, my password to my account stops working. I have to regularly reset it. Has that happened to anyone else, and any idea as to why that would occur?

I haven't heard that so far as. How much i am aware there was a password revok that happened with some users few weeks back. But that should have been fixed by now.
Try resetting your password once again and let us know in case you face the same issue in future.

Why does the installer keep getting stuck but no error messages appear in the log?

So as of I think recently, I've been having problems installing things. I'm using installer version 2.1.
I found myself having to re-install a driver for my tablet awhile ago, and every time I tried to install it the installer got stuck in the 90%s somewhere. However, no error window popped up and when i went to look at the log, it didn't show any errors.
I again encountered this same installing problem today when I went to install a newer slightly updated version of Java which would work on os x 10.4 and the installer got stuck at 99% again showing no errors.
Help? I have no idea what the problem could be, I believe it's way beyond me.

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), & use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, reapply the Combo Update.
Repair Permissions afterwords, reboot.

Why does my Mac keep getting the bouncing file folder when I plug in in the UK? It's costing £100 each time to fix it.

I can plug my Mac in to the wall at home and certain surge protectors, but for some reason and it's a costly thing to discover, but some surge protectors kill my Mac. I get the floating file folder with question mark and have to get the power strip inside replaced.

Why does my mac keep getting a blue screen?

Almost everytime I close Netflix, and sometimes when I close certain tabs while on the internet, my screen turns blue and the only way I can get out of the blue screen is to hold the power button to restart. Safe Boot by restarting your computer while holding down the "shift" key. Safe booting disables all nonessential processes, often times allowing you to start up when you would otherwise crash.
As of OS X 10.5.6 Safe Boot deletes the dynamic loader shared cache location in the /var/db/dyld directory. A corrupt cache here can cause the blue screen crash. Once you restart normally, the cache will be recreated. This should take care of the issue.
