Try closing all apps completely and then do a reset and see if that helps. To close all apps : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
To reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If you are on iOS 5 then you could also try turning off iCloud and multitasking gestures on the iPad.

Mavericks - Why does my sound keep cutting out?
I installed the most recent security update two days ago, which I thought was just for Safari, but now my sound cuts out to about 10% for a second every two to three minutes. It happens in iTunes and Spotify. Anyone else having this issue?

when i am listening to music or watching something the audio will cut out and it wont allow me to turn it up or down, or mute it. its only been happening very recently and ive had my macbook pro for about 2 years now.

Why does my Ipad keep cutting out on my household wi-fi?
We have wi-fi in our two story house, with a desktop upstairs and one downstairs also. Both work well, so we have confirmed no problems with the ISP.
However, the brand new ipad air (not wi-fi plus cellular) seems to have intermittent reception at best- very unreliable. Sometimes our reception is fine- like right now- but other times- such as this morning, the ipad seemed to recognise our network, but we got "not connected" under Wi-Fi on the settings menu. I can't undersatand how the ipad can be "not connected" while identifying and appearing to connect with our network??Hello there, johnhb2.

Why does my ipad1 keep closing out of games and Facebook when I am looking at still playing or checking comments on Facebook? This has been happening more and more frequently.
Try reseting the iPad (different from restarting). Hold down on both the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds (ignore the red slider button). Keep holding both buttons until the Apple Logo appears. When you see the Apple logo on the black screen, let go of both buttons. Once it powers back up, try your games and Facebook. This "reset" fixes a lot of weird iPad issues.

Why does the sound keep going out?
The sound keeps going out for everything: iTunes, any website which has audio, even the volume buttons on my keyboard. I notice that when I restart my computer it will work temporarily, maybe 10-15 minutes and then will go out again. This just started happening and I'm not sure what is going on. Please help!
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

When I am facetiming with mac laptops running snow leapord after a period of time, the audio cuts out.
What causes this and how to prevent it? It is very annoying.
They can hear me but the audio from them is mute.If the iPod plays fine after you start the car, then most likely its fine and normal. If it doesn't, try contacting your dealer.
