Why does my windows phone say it is unable to download file type when trying to install firefox browser?
I have no restrictions on phone. I tried to be safe and use security features like... Safe search,cookie block and such. However it keeps saying unable to download file type when I try and install any of the up to date browsers. This is interesting to say the least. Because my browser is already using the most up to date version. I have internet explorer using a windows 8 nokia

there have been technical and legal hurdles in the app store originally which discouraged mozilla from starting any developments in this direction. i don't know about the current situation, but since mozilla is now focusing its energies on creating firefox os as open source web-based platform, i doubt that you will see firefox on your windows phone device in the foreseeable future...

I purchased an album online with my ipad2 directly from the artists website. I received an email containing the link to allow me to download it. I tapped on the link and the MSG came up saying Safari is unable to download file. I have downloaded apps before with no problems. This is the first music download I have purchased on my ipad2. Maybe it has something to do with the security on the email I received from the artist containing the download. I have the latest iTunes OS and apple iPad 2. O.S. Any ideas on what to do?
You can't download music via Safari on the iPad - you will need to download it on your computer, add it to your computer's iTunes, and then sync it to the iPad.

If you have not been able to install iTunes because the Windows Installer service is not available, I would recommend the troubleshooting in the following troubleshooting to help.

Missing File error when trying to install HP 5610xi using Windows 7 64 bit download
I have tried several times to download and install the software and drivers for my old 5610xi on my new computer running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. I keep getting a "missing file" message when trying to run the download, and it will not install. Can someone please help!?!?
Hi computeir, sorry to hear that you are having issues with getting your printer installed on to your computer. If you are connecting the printer to the computer with a usb cable, please remove it from the printer and the computer and set it aside. Please click the link I have provided for the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

Plus, I have the Norton antivirus and I don´t know if this is a problem caused by Windows version or the antivirus program.First repair permissions and restart your computer. Reinstall the latest version of flash player. Again repair permissions and restart your computer.

Why does my apple tv say it is unable to check for downloads?
I have disconected my internet like three times and restarted my apple tv. Yesterday, I used reset settings but I fixed that. How can I make it download my shows and movies if it says that is unable to check for downloads. I do have great internet.

Why does my App Store say all my apps are up to date when they're really not?
I'm in the process of updating my iPod touch 5G to iOS7, and before I do so, I would like to update all my apps to their current versions. However, no updates are showing in the App Store; it says they are all up-to-date when they really aren't. I had about 13 apps to be updated. Is this a glitch as a result of the Apple Store being increasingly optimized for iOS7? I haven't even updated to iOS7 yet; I'm still running 6.1.3. I can manually search for some of my apps in the App Store and update them way, but that's too much of an convenience. I'd like them all to be in the Updates section. Can someone help me out with this?
Mine was doing the same thing, open the store and go to updates and the screen will then refresh and tell you Itunes terms of service have changed. You'll have to agree to the new 54 pages of terms to get any updates

I am using the Microsoft Toolbar Control 6.0 (SP4) toolbar to display 32x32 pixel buttons.
In development, this toolbar works flawlessly. Once the program is compiled, however, the function iToolbar: ImageList(putRef) sometimes gives the error "Error -2147417851 occurred at The server threw an exception. "
This error does not alway happen, and when it doesn't happen, everything works normally.
Anyone have an idea why this error is being generated?I managed to strip away my entire application and limit the problem to just the toolbar and images. Please see file included.
If you want to play with it, you will have to make a build script. Your system will need to have activex components installed.
Mscomctl.ocx is required.
As I said above, this code fragment works ok in LabVIEW development mode, but occasionally fails when built into an executable. When it fails, it seems to fail many times in a row. It doesn't seem to be a timing problem because there is only one thread.
Has anyone else out there had this problem and found a solution?

Firefox's installer program does not accept my administrator password. The program won't load. I tried it with version 8 several times a couple weeks ago. Now I just tried it with version 9 a couple times. No luck.
I have been using Firefox as my default browser for may years and would like to continue using it.

I attempted to do the update on Firefox 3.6.9 and it said that it could not update because Firefox was still running even though it did not appear in the list of processes in the task manager. I decided to reinstall Firefox and the above message now is displayed each time I restart my computer and attempt to install Firefox 3.6.10.
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xuab2q88.default is the location of the cache folder for your default profile. If the updates folder isn't there then it looks that Firefox hasn't downloaded an update.
You can download the full version from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
Delete the Firefox program folder: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
That will remove all Firefox program files in case some are locked or protected by security software.<br />
That should allow you to install a full version of Firefox 3.6.10
Your Firefox profile data is stored elsewhere and won't be affected. -
