Why does my yahoo mail sign in seal not appear while trying to sign-in when I use firefox only but with MS Internet explorer the sign-in seal appears with yahoo.com

Why does my Yahoo Mail consistently "stall" or "freeze" when I check my email using Firefox.
I press a button (such as "send" or "delete"), and nothing happens. No error message. Nothing. Occasionally if I wait long enough, the program responds. Doesn't seem to be a problem on other browsers.
Yahoo Mail freezes Safari on my MacBook Pro (OS 10.7.2) and I have been force reloading pages to free it up again. Now that doesn't seem to work either. This evening I about given up on using Safari with Yahoo altogether. I don't why this has to be - I've been using Yahoo Mail on my Macs since 2001 and never had trouble. For now, I'll be using Firefox for my email but I'd sure like to go back to using Safari.

Why does Input menu (to use different language) not appear?
Hi, I am trying to enter special characters (German umlauts) into a Pages document. So far I am only able to do this via Edit > Special characters where I have to laboriously select and insert my character. So I checked the Help to use a different keyboard layout and got to the page titled "Viewing Keyboard Layouts for Other Languages" - I followed the steps exactly, but the so-called Input menu does not show on my Pages menu bar. Anything else I need to do? Any and all advice welcome - btw I am a new Mac user, I finally made the switch from PC to Mac, so I am still learning my way around.
Thanks in advance!System Preferences > Language and Text > Input Sources tab. Top of the left column, tick (check) "Keyboard and Character Viewer", Bottom of window next to search field, tick "Show input menu in menu bar"
System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard tab; tick "show keyboard and character viewers in menu bar"
For most purposes there's no need to use character viewer or change input source. All the standard diacritical marks and common symbols can be accessed directly from the standard keyboard. ü is produced by pressing alt (option) + U, release them and type U. Similarly é is alt+e, followed by e.
If you open Keyboard Viewer and press the alt (option) key, the location of the marks will be revealed. Note that five of them are highlighted in orange; these are the ones which can be used with multiple letters (acute, umlaut, gràve, circumflex and tilda)
Shift+Alt will show more. -

Why does my Apple Mail insert old messages into the body of new emails? The correct sender's name will appear in the "From" column, but an old message from a different sender in the body. This happens randomly. I have an iMac OSX 10.6.8. I recently had the hard drive cleaned, but Apple Mail seemed to be running fine when I set it up again. Could this be a virus? Why does 4.5 mail keep removing emails that are 10 days old.
Ten days isn't an option I'm familiar with; perhaps it's a new option in Lion? Prior OS's had choices like one day, week, month, etc.
If not being apparently set in your email client, it's possibly been set or is set by default at the server level. To check and change that you'll have to access it directly, usually by logging into that domain directly. -

This may sound stupid, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Is it possible, that if I have enough junk on my desktop it might disrupt the signal? It seems odd, but it kind of looks like my signal is strong and relatively steady now that I've cleaned my desktop. I do tend to get very cluttered. I use a lot of reference images and save text clippings to use later... it just piles up very quickly.
So, I wonder if all that extra effort my system has to do keeping up with the junk might have something to do with the drop outs? -

Why does my screen turn black when I play iTunes while working on iPhoto?
Why does my screen turn black when I play ITunes while working on iPhoto? I can't click off of the screen but get a message that reads Shut down computer by pressing button in back then turn computer back on by pushing button in back. That's followed by Chinese letters (which I cannot read). I have had other problems when playing iTunes (actually, a radio station on the Internet) while working on iPhoto. Before, I got a window that would pop up and tell me I had no disk space available, that I would have to quit applications that were open. Not many were open.
It would be nice if I could solve this problem once and for all.

Question
Since I downloaded Firefox 4, I can't see attachments in my Yahoo mail. This is not a problem of Yahoo, because with Internet Explorer works fine. What is the problem?Ok, now they are showing. I restarted my computer again and they are showing now.

when you say "Re-upload the image", do you mean reinsert it, or re-link it?
Neither.
Re-upload it to the web server from your local hard drive. In DW, click on the image file in the Files panel then click the Up arrow to Put the image to the server.
If that does not work, do as Nancy suggests and re-create the image in your image editor then re-upload. -
I am using Window 7 I have just put a link to my web site but it does not appear while using Firefox but it does if using Internet explorer or Chrome why would this be?
