Why does server fail to connect to manage my iPad data account

Trying to view my account through the cellular settings 'View Account' fails. I received email that my 5GB with hotspot service was renewed. I was viewing with my iPhone and the email offered this embedded link to manage the account: http://clicks.att.com/OCT/eTrac?EMAIL_ID=XXXXXXXX&finalURL=http://www.att.com/
(ID number obscured). The link timed out on my iPhone just as it does on my iPad.

You are not alone. Found others with same problem thanks to this forum and I did bring it up to AT&T. I was told a tower had trouble tickets issued on it in my area. Data started to work again but view account is still down.
I am inside NYC city limits in 11375. Used service in multiple other localities without issue.

Just turned off the cell radio and it worked. Turned on the cell radio but kept LTE off and it worked.
Apple let's get a fix so we can use your "great" phone. I have just received a BB Z10 from work and it seems to work flawlessly.

Why Does AppleScript Fail With Google Earth?

This simple script:
     tell application "Google Earth"
            GetCurrentVersion
     end tell
fails with the following error:
     error "Google Earth got an error: Can’t continue GetCurrentVersion." number -1708
and with the following Console message:
     3/2/13 5:24:42.505 PM Google Earth[53575]: +[NSDictionary scriptingRecordWithDescriptor:]: unrecognized selector sent to class 0xacdb248c
Anyone know why?
The GE AppleScript dictionary has the following entry:
GetCurrentVersion v : Get the current version of the Google Earth client
      GetCurrentVersion record : record of major, minor and build numbers
→ list of integer : version fields
AppleScript and Google Earth work fine for other users on this machine. It only fails on my account.
I have tried deleting all vestiges of GE from the machine and reinstalling, but this hasn't worked.
Any other ideas?

My friend in Texas has tried to call my via FaceTime but for some reason, every time she does, it keeps saying "connection lost" when we both have full bars on our wifi. Keep in mind, I am from Nebraska so we have the same time zone and I have an iPod 4 while she has a iPhone of some sort but that shouldn't matter because I am still able to FaceTime my friend in California, which is two hours behind me. So, I guess I just want to know why I cannot reach my friend in Texas. Please, someone help me!

iChat uses several port as they are called over the internet to do different things
Text Chats and Video Chats are on different Ports.
You probably don't have the port open.
Use UPnP in your router if it has it.

Why does one particular website not open on my ipad, when it alwasys did, but the same website is available upstairs on my PC, I'm using the same remote connection but for some reason it doesn't want to open. I;ve tried refreshing etc... but nothing works.
When I bring the ipad to work the website in question opens OK.

DDE stands for Dynamic Data Exchange, and it is a way for two programs to communicate with each other. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms648711(v=vs.85).aspx
Adobe Reader, or (Acrobat Standard/Pro) would be an example of a DDE server, in that when they are open they can accept unsolicited communication from client programs.
One client could be the fast launch utility.
Because the DDE server is local to your machine, only a server name needs to be decided upon. For instance prior to version 10 Adobe always used 'Acroview' as it's DDE Server Name. For some reason, Adobe claims 'security', They decided to change the DDE Server name for version 10 to AcroviewR10 for reader, and AcroviewA10 for Acrobat.
Because there was decades of old code which had never needed to change many programs stopped working, and began claiming that they couldn't connect to Acrobat.
Adobe, rightly, claimed that it was a bad practice to hard code the DDE Server name into your code, and that a better practice is to get the value from the Registry.
That would have been helpful but Adobe seems incapable of remembering to update this registry key when upgrading their software, even though they update the setting in their software.
For instance right now Adobe is setting the DDE Server name in the registry to AcroviewR10 for Reader 11. What is worse is that their software only responds to AcroviewR11.
So if you hardcode the server name, or create a function to determine what it should be, than you might be ok, but if you accept their good coding practices your applications will fail to work as expected, and your clients will think it is your fault.

OEAP602 RLAN; print server fails to connect but laptop does

This AM I tested a 602 with a Lexmark print server patched to rlan (4) in house. It acquired its DHCP IP and functioned as expected.

Yes the 602 is alive and well but the WLC logs indicate:

In the past, supported bitrate for the rlan to work was 1 or 2 mbps. Current code 7.6.120.0 I believe has the little bug fixed as I have all rates below 11 disabled and my other 13 rlan clients are working fine.

The WLC was reading a message from the client, and the client did not tell the WLC what rates it could support. This could happen because the packet from the client wasn't heard fully. As well, some clients will see the WLC that they are associated to, and not the individual Device. In this case, it is possible that the client didnt' send the supported rates, as it didn't see a change in BSSID>

Why does qmaster fail on my clustered computers?

I'm using FCP 7 with compressor 3.5, and I'm getting failures when I try to run compressor against a Render Farm. I can't figure out why.
All of my computers are set to managed, and I've used QAdministrator to build a cluster. My main iMac is also set as the controller. I've shared my folders off of the iMac with the network so that the other computers can R/W to the local disk. I do NOT have a SAN or NAS currently configured.
All of my computers are statically assigned their IP addresses and are not connected to a DNS/DHCP server or Domain Controller. It's all local network without internet connection.
What could I be doing wrong?

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
