Why does Siri keep starting with my iPhone 6 when listening to music?

I've had my 6 for about a week now. Whenever my battery is below 75% or so Siri likes to come on and start talking.
I Thought it was my headphones so I got new ones. Still had the same problem. Thought updating to 8.2 would do the job. Same problem.
So I turned off Siri. Still having the same issue. In the course of writing this, I've had voice control pop up 15 times As well as my iTunes skipping through songs or fast forwarding them. This is phone number 10 about to be 11.

If you're not running iOS 8 as you describe you are not, and Siri keeps coming on, this could be a hardware failure of the Home Button.
Try these steps:
Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails

Don't have iPhoto set to auto launch.
And ptpcamera seems to consume a very large amount of CPU capacity - you can hear the fans in my macbook pro come on, bloody ****.
The ptpcamera process does not end either, blood ****.
Seems like this thing started with the last camera RAW update that rolled out.
With that and issues with the recent Java update, I just want to grouse about how sloppy things now seem with the Apple updates.

It is opening up your computer generally because there are photos in the camera roll to prompt you to import them to the computer as you would a digital camera.

Why does Siri keep changing identities

I have two iPhones 4S both using the same iCloud account, my daughters and mine. Now here is the strange thing. Everyone once in a while with no definite regularity, Siri decides I am my daughter and my Daughter is myself. now the phones have not changed, just the Siri info.
Why is this happening, and how do i fix it?

Verizon customers need to do the following. It solved my wife and my issue of having our siri id being pushed to multiple devices.
Step 1: Dial *228 from your iPhone.
Step 2: When prompted, select 2 to update your roaming capabilities.

Hope this helps. We have one Apple ID for all of us. Siri has stopped getting confused, and we can share our photostream, call each other, contacts in the cloud, Ical in the cloud. etc.

I know how to tell her (Siri settings), and it works for a little while (Siri, take me home; Siri, call my wife), but then I get the nice, but annoying Siri reply, "... I would but I don't know who you are. You can tell me in..." blah blah blah.
Really Siri?
This weekly forgetfulness is annoying.

Do you have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader installed? If so, which one, and which version?

Why does Firefox keep crashing with Mavericks?

I don't want any answers on this, but I would strongly suggest that people should not download Mavericks. I did so today, March 22, and since then Firefox keeps crashing or going into the spinning wheel mode. Once it actually shut down my domputer. Clearly Apple updates are becoming as worthless as windows updates.

I haven't had any issues with Firefox and Mavericks. The only issues I've had have been minor.
I suggest you test in a new User. This will quickly tell you if the problem is system wide or if it's your User's folder that contains the problem.
CREATE A NEW USER
Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching
Do you still see the issue?
If yes, then the problem is with your base files.
If no, then the problem is in your User's folder.
Download EtreCheck. It will display the important details of your system configuration and highlight old files you still might have around that will affect Mavericks. If you need help with the results, you can copy the results to the Clipboard. and paste on the fourm.

Why does Verizon keep screwing with the MY VERIZON download to spreadsheet?

I liked the feature that you could NICKNAME certain numbers on the MY VERIZON website. In the past, when you download to spreadsheet, it would download the phone number. Now it downloads the nickname. So when I want to do a sort of phone numbers on my cumulative spreadsheet, I have to revert the nicknames to phone numbers. Ugh!

The line of above choices is mostly unreadable. Only a small portion of the top of the choices are able to be read for selection.

A possible cause is that you have increased the minimum font size.
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" in case the current setting is causing problems.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.

Do you have Stuffit installed and are saving to the desktop?
Because in that case it is Stuffit decompressing the Pages document's package.
Just save to your document folder.

1. Double-click the Home button to see all Inactive Apps
2. Hold the Apps down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close App
4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider

It shouldn't really ask you anything. One way to possibly forestall this from happening again would be to register and enter your own ID and password. The system won't ask you for anything else, since it has all the user info it needs.
When is it asking you questions? When the App Store opens? When you click on hyperlinks to documents?
