Why does Siri suddenly interrupt my music?
When listening to music on my iPhone 4S, I've recently been dealing with Siri constantly interrupting songs to ask what I need. It's odd because I have Siri deactivated on my phone. Additionally, songs will suddenly stop, skip to the next song, or fast forward, causing them to sound choppy. I've tried turning the phone off, restarting the music app, and I just performed the system reset, too. But nothing worked. I cannot figure out what's wrong with my phone.
If your phone is locked with a passcode and you ask siri to read any new text message, Siri tells you to unlock it first, which you do by entering the passcode and the moment you do that Siri says 'OK' and starts reading your message without you doing anything else.
However if you have not set the passcode in your phone and if your phone is locked (which means you have yet not done 'slide to unlock') and you ask siri to read the message then you will hear nothing..there will be silence ..and then 'siri will ask you to reply or read it again'. If you want to hear the message then first slide to unlock your phone and then ask siri to read for any new text messages and you will start hearing your message.
Let me know if this does not work.

Could be systems logs or some other system file growing.
Use OmniDiskSweeper or DaisyDisk to map what's being used.

and can i specify a default save-as location?The default save location is the one used to open the document.
The default save_to location is the last used one.
Both are stored in memory and written in the application's preferences file when we close it.
It's quite easy to change the defaults in the preferences file but we must do that before opening the app and if we use an other location once the app is open, we will lost the defined default location.
From my point of view, the best scheme is to use an Applescript to save.

If you're not running iOS 8 as you describe you are not, and Siri keeps coming on, this could be a hardware failure of the Home Button.
Try these steps:
Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6 older, hold down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.

- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)

That's correct. Nor will it do it for me in the UK. As it say's in the Siri FAQ I linked to:
"Maps and local search support will be available in additional countries in 2012." -

Have you checked, if any accessibility settings have been enabled? Switch control, sticky keys?

What apps are open and are you really still only on 10.5.1??????? At the very least please update your profile, also please remember to post more information. I suspect it's something going on with just your user account. You can verify that by creating another user account (call it TEST ACCOUNT) and log into that account and test. Once this has been verified then you will need to check which apps are running to determine what is causing your issue.

Does this Problem happen often? I have had my Iphone5 for about two weeks and this is the first time I have
had the problem. My 3gs used Siri to dial phone numbers or use the address book to dial and I never had a problem with it.

The problem wasn't about the Restricitions because they are really irrelevant. The Problem was that i didn't had this Option to turn Siri off in the Touch ID & Passcode-Menu because i had to activate Siri first.
Here ist the way to deactivate Siri in the locked Screen:
[1] Settings > General > Siri > turn Siri on
[2] Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > ALLOW ACCESS WHEN LOCKED > turn Siri off -

Why does Siri stop working, or become unavailable?
The topic says it all. Why is it that sometimes, even in a 4G area, Siri suddenly doesn't work?
There are a few reasons why siri will stop listening:
1. It is having problems connecting to the network so can't search for what you are looking for. You are prompted with something like: I am sorry I can't connect right now.
2. There is a pause when you are dictating something to siri so it assumes you are done. Pauses of about 2 or 3 seconds should do it.
3. You accidentally press the siri button indicating you are done dictating to siri.
If none of these are the problem, I don't know what else to do. How often is this occuring? -
Why does Keynote suddenly say my document is unreadable and has to close?
So, I'm spending hours working on a presentation using Keynote 6.5.2 on my MacBook Air running Yosemite 10.10.1. Saving my work as I go along. The file was saved in my iCloud Drive. I recently "upgraded" to iCloud Drive. This was a newly created Keynote file, created after I began using iCloud drive.
All of a sudden for no reason Keynote says "This document can no longer be used because its file has become unreadable, so it must be closed." I had only one option, to click the button and close the file.
Now the file can't be reopened on my Mac. When I try to open the file from the Finder, Keynote says "The file couldn’t be opened" (with the file's title in there). The file is found in my "Keynote" folder that lives inside "iCloud Drive."
Mysteriously, when I visit icloud.com and go to my iCloud Drive, the file is not inside my Keynote folder. It's by itself at the top level inside the iCloud Drive folder. And the file does open in my web browser.
Why does my Mac suddenly decide it won't let me open or work on this Keynote file? What's going on, any suggestions?Just an update, a workaround to this problem was to download the Keynote file to my Mac and save that copy of the document on my Mac, not in iCloud Drive. I have been able to work with the document just fine since then, with Keynote on my Mac. This just means doing without the syncing benefits of iCloud Drive. Seems this problem was more with iCloud Drive itself than with Keynote.
iCloud Drive did have the most recent, up-to-the-minute copy of my work online when I visited it via the web. I was able to work with the file with the Keynote beta program in the web browser, but that program is missing some of the features of the desktop version.
The original problem of the file becoming unreadable has been solved by this workaround. But it is still a bug. I reported it through Apple feedback and hope they will fix this. -

Every time i switch onto i tunes , it keeps checking for downloads , and then proceeds to download all the music i already have on my computer itunes list , why does it do that , and should i stop it or let it continue , and can i still play the music while it downloads .
