Why does spawning templates merge all layers on the template?

I've created a multi-page form document in Adobe Acrobat X. I've created form fields and javascript throughout. The document also has several layers set up for customizing the view. The layers contain graphics that the user can pick one of to display. Now, some of my papers I have defined as Templates.
The problem is, when I spawn a template as a new page, that new page has all the layers merged together. The layer visibility doesn't appear to apply to the new spawned page. Is this a known issue or is there a setting I'm unaware of?

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, the layers are part of the background of the page that I designed in InDesign. The entire document is a series of page forms of various styles and layouts. The layers that I was using control whether the form has a Silver or Gold tone to the decorations, headers, etc. It's not really something I can put as button icons. I may just have to have only one appearance for the form. The spawning of templates is more important.

'Cuz that's what mail merges do. They create multiple documents based on the parent doc and all the names/addresses in your data tables.
Perhaps if you describe exactly what you're trying to do & why you need PDF, we can point you to relevant tutorials.

Pixelated hair on a backlit photo AFTER I flatten or merge all layers in PSE12.

Can someone please help me. When I am done editing a photo that is back-lit and I flatten the image or merge all layers the stray hairs are becoming extremely over pixelated. This has never happened before. I am using PSE 12.. THANK YOU!!! (I have used the healing brush and clone tool but don't care for the look of it..) I just don't understand why its happening all of a sudden with just the backlit photos.

imessage has a new setting that shows all emails associated with your apple id. There are two sections, send and receive. Since you are using the same apple id, Im sure if you adjust one of those settings to your mobile number instead of your appleid, it wont send double.
You might also have to adjust your wifes settings too, so those emails dont overlap

why does iPhoto not copy all photos from an event when im copy/pasting to an external folder on my mac(for later transfer). All softwares are up to date and ive only just realised it happens, but when i copy all pics in an event then paste in a folder, the pic count is substantially different. for example i select all pictures in an event called 'new1', the count of files is 188. i then copy/ paste to a folder, select all files and check 'info' and it says 141 files???
all i can see painstakingly going through to compare which images are in each place is that the ones that arent in my new folder , seem to be the ones ive edited in iPhoto?? conincidence? or am I missing something fundamental here? Ive only just realised this is occuring. The trouble is, after moving images to folders/hard drives I subsequently delete them from iphoto to keep my macbook airs HDD with some space. So basically all of the versions of pictures I want, i.e, the new edited and adjusted versions are no longer! NOT HANDY!

We've seen a few reports of this in the past while and no one is sure of the cause.
Use the File -> Export command. See this User Tip

means you are losing quality, metadata and the version of control. If you don't want these why use iPhoto at all?
You could just move the whole Library to an external:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Merge All Layers?

Looking for a quick, one-step method for merging all layers.
Usually, I Select the top-most layer, then shift-click the bottom-most layer (selecting all layers between), then right click and hit "merge layers".
Simple enough - but I'm working on an "action" and recording the method above is limited because it relies on a file's specific layer names. I want to be able to use this action as a generic action for any project with multiple layers.
Is there a better way to do this or a File > Merge All option I'm missing?

You could try Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E (Shift-Cmd-Option-E) (merge visible layers to a new layer)
Or just flatten would merge all the layers
If you just want to select specific layers to merge you can use keyboard shortcuts that don't record layer names:

why does Itunes say it can't find the original file for a particular song? and then asks if I want to locate it? I can't access a bunch of old song files. any new cds are available to me in itunes. all others are not accessible. how do i merge the new cd's with the old ones so that all the songs are playable in Itunes. thanks.

I'm not so sure... I've never run across this particular error (my library is stored on my internal hard drive, but copied to an external for backup purposes with an application other than iTunes or Finder. I don't think Apple will provide acknowledgment to issues experienced only by very small numbers of people... I'm one of those, perhaps foolish, individuals who allows my computer to download updates immediately, rather than waiting for fear of problems, and again, I've never had this error.

Why does Itunes sync my purchase transfers to the wrong hard drive?

I'm running windows 7 with a 64gb SSD boot drive and 1tb data drive. My boot drive is almost completely full. I installed itunes on my data drive and set the preferences to sync media to the data drive as well. I plug in my old ipod to tranfer purchases before an update. The tranfer never finished because it synced all of the data to my boot drive and now my boot drive is completely full and the data is nowhere to be found. I recently had the same problem with it syncing an iphone backup to the same drive, but I found a work around for that. Why does Itunes instist on loading stuff on the boot drive? How can I redirect it? This is simple preferences that should be available to change, but simply aren't.

It will probably take a week and three days to replace your Samsung in the Czech Republic. In the U.S., if I sent my iPhone or iPad in for warranty work, it would take 7-10 days as well. Yes, I do have the option of taking it to an Apple Store, which you may not be able to do. Samsung doesn't have stores at all in the U.S. I would be dependet on my carrier for warranty replacements.

hey, I'm not sure if I've set it up for hard drive video. When I
try to import it says it's the wrong codec. I had a similar problem with windows moviemaker.
